Only at death did I feel hatred. I was angry not only at the bastards that killed me, but also at myself. For being meek, spineless. A coward, waiting for someone to save me. Regret, when your head is about to roll, is a joke. But regression? Now that was unexpected. A second chance. Maybe mercy from above? My name doesn’t matter at this point. What matters is what I’ve become. Gift or misfortune, I will use it to the fullest. Growing only stronger. Revenge is much sweeter than honey after all. I will not forget the past, but use it as my weapon. Sharp. Piercing. A pain that won’t subside. I will be the one to shape my fate. I will be the one to take my life back. The fire that was lit? It’s eternal now. Burning ever so bright. And the lucky ones, who get to watch me slowly burn them in their own agony? My “family”, of course. How endearing.
