Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 123: Aunt Flo

"Thank you." Ivy's eyes shimmered with gratitude. Without Silas… her journey might have been much more bumpy.

Silas shook his head, then he hesitated before asking, "Do you still have medicine? One of my sister's connections is in urgent need of medicines, so…"

"I do." Ivy agreed on the spot; she contemplated a moment before hinting, "If I want… I can get as many fluoroquinolones and metronidazole as I want. So if your request revolves around them, I can fulfill it."

Silas, understanding the hint, was surprised, yet he restrained himself from asking any further questions. As long as Ivy doesn't want… he won't ask a single question.

"The amount of medicine required this time is far greater. Almost 100,000 packets of each type of medicine." Silas explained. He observed Ivy's response in case she might encounter any difficulty in fulfilling the order, but she seemed at ease, dispelling the last trace of worry in his heart.

"Alright." With that, Ivy waved her hand, and a small mountain of medicines appeared in the living room. "Here."

Silas: (,,•o•,,)

For a moment, Silas almost imagined Ivy as a pink Doraemon who could take out various magical items with a wave of her hand. The thought was so comical that he chuckled, earning a glance from Ivy.

"Nothing… I just remembered something funny." Silas assured her. Refused to admit it, but occasionally, he did compare Ivy to some cute things.

Like when Ivy ate her dinner… she resembled, albeit a pink one. When she loses her control and seduces him, she resembles a pink fox, and when she shows her ruthless side, she looks like a pink cat.

Why always pink? Because, other than her hair color and iris color, her pale skin occasionally glows with a pink shade. At first, he even suspected that it was her makeup, but later, due to some accidents… he understood that was how she was. Gorgeous and unfiltered.

At night, when it was time to head to bed, Ivy felt a warm liquid pooling from her private area, and her expression changed. Ugh… her Aunt Flo was here.

After entering her space, she hurriedly checked if there were any tampons and realized that… there were almost none. Though a single pack was left… it had expired.

In the apocalypse, a minority of the people relied on period panties, while the majority, who couldn't afford them at all, could only wear black pants to hide the blood stains.

It was unhygienic indeed, but who asked them to be poor?

Now, though, there might be a chance to buy some, but for now, she will have to make do with the expired tampons. Ivy used one and exited the space.

Silas entered the room and saw Ivy, who had an uncomfortable expression. "What happened? Is something bugging you?"

"No… nothing. Just some personal problem." Ivy replied vaguely, hoping Silas wouldn't question anymore.

Silas turned to check the date, and a look of realization appeared on his face. "Your periods must have started, right?"

"Yup." Ivy could only reply helplessly, but she was curious as to why Silas could track her periods so accurately. Her period dates shift every month by 2 to 3 days.

"All the items that you might need during your periods have been stored in the lower compartment of the drawer." He reminded her before leaving the room.

Ivy blinked, processing his words, before checking the lower compartment. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw many packs of tampons, a small washing machine, with different sets of underwear. There were also period panties and detergent.

Others didn't know, but Ivy had one peculiar habit, and that was to wash her panties separately during her periods. Even the panties used for her periods were separate from her regular ones. Her face turned a bit red, realizing just how deeply Silas knows and cares for her.

However, soon, she calmed down; her habits changed after the apocalypse in her previous life.

The haunting memories of her past life made Ivy's bright and sunny mood plummet. With the amount of tampons in front of her, she doesn't have to worry about tampons for a year straight! The mere idea of it was enough to improve her mood.

She took out one of the tampons and changed into a new one. Finally, Ivy was at ease, and Silas entered with a cup of carom seed water. He handed it to her wordlessly, and Ivy's heart warmed.

She suppressed the urge to hug him and kiss him hard. While drinking the water, her mind wandered to various thoughts, and slowly her eyes roamed before coming to a halt.

Silas's broad chest looked truly secure and warm, and she recalled all the times he had hugged her. The warm, soothing embrace gave her the determination to drink the water quickly.

On finishing it, Silas asked her to lie on the bed and soon brought a hot water bag. After securing it on her back, he lay on the bed too.

Compared to others, Ivy hardly ever had period cramps, but her back did ache a lot. Silas had observed it and used to secretly care for her, but each time it was discovered by Isla who was furious and forced Ivy to kneel in cold water, knowing it would either trigger period cramps or back aches.

The moment Silas lay on the bed, Ivy decided to be a bit shameless, and she inched towards him. Once she noticed that he hadn't noticed (or pretended not to), she slipped into his arms and wrapped her arms and legs around him.

Just when she settled down, she felt a warm hand reaching and staying on her stomach. Startled, she looked up and her eyes crashed into Silas's deep gaze.

"It will help you reduce stomach cramps in case you receive any." He explained in his deep, gentle voice.

Ivy didn't argue. Who could resist such a charming man? Not her. A man like Silas was hard not to fall for.
