Chapter 112: Aiden
A fierce glint appeared in Ivy's eyes, and she muttered in a cold voice, "Tonight. Let's completely deal with them."
Silas's eyes flashed with a strange glint. Though he wanted to continue the torture, he understood that if he dared to delay any longer, General Frank might realize that his nephew was missing and worse… he might start to take action.
Though he wasn't afraid of General Frank, Silas didn't want Ronan and his cronies to live at all. What if the future became a truth?
Ivy, unaware of Silas's fear, finished her dinner and returned to her room. Her mood was complex, and without hesitation, she took out the Ravencroft family and tortured them while harvesting 50KB.
Her mood stabilized eventually. After storing them, she returned to Silas's side and had a dreamless night.
The most unnerving discovery for Ivy was… as long as she sleeps beside Silas, she magically forgets all the bad memories and her body relaxes.
At night, Ivy and Silas woke up and calmly made their way to the secret base Silas owned. On reaching their they saw Henry, who was calmly sitting on a chair, as well as Aiden, who was guarding the door.
On seeing Silas, Aiden nodded his eyes unconsciously stayed on Ivy for a minute before he decided to look away indifferently.
Ivy pursed her lips before looking away. In her past life, when Aiden and Scarlett got together, his stance toward her had softened a bit. It was also thanks to Aiden that Scarlett eventually stopped making things difficult for her.
Now facing the indifferent Aiden again, Ivy felt a complex feeling surging in her heart. Soon her attention was diverted to Ronan and his cronies, whose situation couldn't be called worse.
Was there anything below worse? It must be that. Their entire body was covered with blood, and the various bruises that had turned black looked horrendous and terrifying.
They were tied to a chair, and their head were occasionally rolling to the side. Their body looked as if they had lost all of their strength, and they lay limp on the chair.
Ivy watched with cold eyes; there was no mercy in her eyes and only ruthlessness. Though they never molested her, they did hand her over to those higher authorities who r*ped her again and again.
To say they were innocent was a complete lie. Not to mention they harboured the fantasy of physically assaulting her.
She calmly walked up to Ronan, the future boss of the black market, and chuckled. "Hi Ronan."
Her melodious voice created a strange sense of disharmony in the tranquil night. It wasn't that her voice wasn't intoxicating but the problem was… how chilling it sounded.
Henry rubbed the goosebumps on his hand and silently lit two imaginary candles for Ronan and his followers. He didn't know how they had offended Ivy, but one thing was sure for Ronan and his cronies… it was going to be a long… long night.
Unaware of their fate, Ronan opened his eyes and saw an immensely beautiful girl. Her graceful demeanour made her seem like a fairy descended from the sky.
'Am I in heaven? Have an angel come to fetch me to heaven? Thank god… my sufferings are over. Once I reach the heavens, I will definitely complain to the Heavenly King and make sure Silas and his team for the injustice they have done to us.'
Some people truly lack self-awareness, and Ronan was one of them.
"Angel take me away…" He whispered wistfully, and his words came out as a screeching sound of chalk on board.
"Pfft!" Henry couldn't control himself and let out a low laugh, attracting the glare of both Silas and Aiden.
The urge to laugh became even more apparent to Henry. He just couldn't understand why, when the situation was serious, he couldn't control his laughter at all.
(A/n: Same brother… same!)
After all, from Henry could Ivy was the Death goddess, and Ronan was calling her angel. Guess when Ivy will break his two hands and finish him off, he would be so scared that he would even fear the real angel.
But considering the heinous deed Ronan has committed, he won't be picked up by a fairy with wings, but by a hairy man wearing a pink dress and having a beard. Haha!
Henry: (。•ˇ‸ˇ•。) I will not laugh! I will not laugh!
Aiden: "..." Idiot!
For this brother of his, Aiden only had disdain. When it comes to strength, Henry was more powerful than a lion, but when his mischievous side comes out… even monkeys couldn't match him.
Ignoring him, he channeled his attention to Ivy. Something about her was different… she looked nothing like the foolish person he had remembered… she was sharp… and looked intimidating.
'Just what trick is she going to play this time?' He thought, but suddenly remembered how Silas and she had entered together and curled his lips upwards, 'As long as she and Silas end up together… I will not hold any grudge against her.'
He was selfish and wished that Silas could get together with Ivy, so he, Aiden, could be with Scarlett or even have a chance to woo her openly.
Ivy chuckled and swung her hand, landing a hard slap on Ronan's face, making him vomit blood. Her chilling voice echoed in the empty room.
"Since you all are just minions, I will let you easily."
The next moment, the scene that happened in front of Henry chilled him to the bones. He watched with surprise and horror as Ivy forcefully turned Ronan, Mark, and Peter's heads to an angle far surpassing human limits, ending their miserable lives for once and all.
Suddenly thinking about the biting remarks he had thrown in Ivy's direction, his heart trembled, and he looked toward Silas for some comfort.
But seeing how Silas indifferently watched the entire scene, Henry's mouth went dry.
Sin! What a sin!
If he asks for forgiveness now… would Demon Ivy let him off?
