Warframe Voidwalker : Multiverse Journey

Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Hammer Destroyer

The Destroyer, which was about to erupt, was blasted away like a cannonball. Everyone stared at the figure responsible.

A strange armor without a neck stood before them—it was this armor's punch that had sent the erupting Destroyer flying out of town.

Marcus, transformed into Atlas [Sky Shaker], flexed his wrist and glanced at Tony hovering in the air.

"Tony, aren't you curious about what I've been doing all these years? Let me show you now!"

With that, he stomped the ground forcefully. A series of solid stone walls rose from the earth, forming a barrier in front of everyone.

BOOM!

The Destroyer's energy erupted toward them, instantly obliterating buildings on the town's outskirts.

Only these stone walls remained standing, like an indestructible barrier blocking the Destroyer's attack.

With a slight gesture from Marcus, the stone walls suddenly deformed, transforming into massive rolling boulders that rumbled toward the Destroyer.

Then, Marcus's hands became equipped with iron hook gauntlets, the sharp blades on each fist looking extremely lethal. This time, Marcus had no intention of holding back as he had when fighting Tony.

He stomped again, instantly activating what appeared to be a landslide technique.

Marcus slid across the ground and, together with the rolling boulders, rushed toward the Destroyer.

Meanwhile, Sif, the Asgardian warriors, and Tony stood stunned. The Asgardians were shocked to see someone repel the Destroyer head-on, while Tony was astonished by the Atlas armor Marcus had transformed into.

Marcus's voice had come from inside the neckless armor.

When Tony had fought Marcus before, Marcus had merely used a battle suit made by his father. Now that Marcus had donned this mysterious armor, Tony couldn't begin to imagine what kind of power it might wield.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Marcus struck the Destroyer with a powerful punch just as a massive boulder slammed into it.

BOOM!

A visible white shockwave spread outward, shaking the entire town with its violent force.

"By the gods... such strength!"

Volstagg was shocked by Atlas's [Sky Shaker's] incredible power. He had seen many strong warriors before, but never had he witnessed a punch that made the very ground tremble.

Even more shocked was Loki, who was remotely controlling the Destroyer from Asgard.

Loki's vision filled with stars, feeling as if that punch from the headless armor had somehow struck him directly.

He felt dizzy, as though someone had actually hit him in the head.

Holding his forehead, Loki took a deep breath and looked again at the vision before him.

"How can such a thing exist in Midgard?"

He couldn't comprehend how such powerful armor could exist in a realm inhabited by mortals.

This armor could unleash power that matched—or even exceeded—the Destroyer's own might.

"Defeat it and return immediately!"

After giving this order to the Destroyer, Loki shut off the vision. He needed to rest and recover from the impact of Marcus's punch, which had somehow affected him through his connection to the Destroyer.

As Loki prepared to rest, the Destroyer, having received the king's command, entered its full combat mode.

The Destroyer's entire body glowed red, the intense heat distorting the surrounding air.

"Ah, so you've removed the combat restrictions?"

Marcus laughed as gravel rose from the ground and gathered around him.

In an instant, his body was covered by a layer of solid stone.

"Try this little trick of mine!"

"Stone Walker!"

Throwing a punch at the Destroyer, Marcus instantly petrified it, covering its body with a layer of stone skin. Then two massive stone golems appeared, both punching the Destroyer simultaneously.

These stone beings were surprisingly powerful—their combined strike sent the petrified Destroyer flying.

But their attack didn't damage the Destroyer; instead, it merely shattered the stone skin covering it, revealing the molten metal body beneath.

"Huh~"

Seeing the Destroyer emerge from its petrification, Marcus laughed and swung his iron hook gauntlet to unleash another attack.

"Landslide!"

THUD!

This punch connected fiercely with the Destroyer's body. The sharp blades of the iron hook gauntlet left visible scars on the Destroyer's surface.

"Just as I thought—it's a fake!"

After seeing the scars on the Destroyer's body, Marcus knew instantly.

The Destroyer was said to be Odin's armor, but what kind of attack could this armor really withstand? Anyone powerful enough to be Odin's enemy would be unimaginably strong.

This armor would be like paper before such beings—and apparently before Marcus as well.

Despite these thoughts, Marcus didn't let up. He punched again, using the sharp blade of his gauntlet to successfully widen the scar.

BOOM! BOOM! THUD!

With each punch, a visible shockwave spread outward, carrying the Destroyer's terrifying heat to devastate everything nearby.

"By the Norns... is this guy some kind of monster?"

Volstagg was stunned. For the first time, he witnessed someone overwhelm the Destroyer so completely that it couldn't even fight back.

Most incredibly, he could see the Destroyer's form actually bending and warping.

It seemed impossible—the Destroyer, which could withstand all manner of attacks, was being deformed by this terrifying force.

Though he knew the Destroyer could repair itself, the sight still left him in disbelief.

The others reacted similarly. Tony was perhaps the most shocked, gratefully remembering his own fight with Marcus.

Marcus had only worn a regular battle suit then, and Tony had still been outmatched. If Marcus had been wearing this Atlas armor, Tony would likely have been pounded into a "steel hamburger."

Under everyone's watchful gaze, Marcus's attacks continued to accelerate, and the Destroyer's body was gradually smashed to pieces.

Finally, after a devastating kick, the Destroyer flew through the air like a piece of scrap metal.

If not for the scorching energy still emanating from its body, they might have thought Marcus had completely destroyed it.

The Destroyer stumbled back to its feet. Its legs had been bent by Marcus's kick, and its body was thoroughly battered.

However, this didn't stop the Destroyer. It had already begun restoring itself, its distorted form gradually returning to normal as it advanced.

Marcus wasn't surprised by this. He had only used physical attacks so far.

Though the Destroyer might be a "fake" in Marcus's eyes, it wasn't some cheap knockoff. It wouldn't be easy to destroy without employing special powers.

"Ah~ Now it's getting fun!" Marcus smiled and twisted his neck as a fiery light began emanating from his hands. "Let's try some Phoenix Breath!"

He merged with what appeared to be the essence of a phoenix and launched another landslide attack against the Destroyer.

BOOM!

With a thunderous noise, Marcus's punch didn't knock the Destroyer into the air as before.
