VOIDBLADE: THE LAST SWORD OF THE END

Chapter 36: Chapter 37:The Abyss stirs 2

The Blight Reaver thundered forward, the ground cracking beneath its mount's hooves. Flames burst from the creature's mouth as it bellowed, and the air itself seemed to ripple with the force of its charge. The Reaver's massive glaive gleamed with dark power, raised high to strike.

Void God stood still.

The distance between them vanished in an instant — and the glaive fell.

Void Step.

The air twisted — and Void God was gone. The glaive smashed into the ground where he had stood, the impact sending a shockwave tearing through the earth. But the Reaver had no time to recover.

Void God reappeared above him, Voidfang descending in a flash of black steel.

Void Piercer.

The thrust distorted reality itself — and the Reaver's mount shrieked as the blade punched through its armored hide. The beast buckled, collapsing mid-charge, sending its rider sprawling.

HP: 150,000 → 125,000

The Reaver rolled to his feet with inhuman grace, his glaive already spinning. Shadows trailed the weapon's arc — and when the strike came, it carried the weight of ruin.

Void God blocked — and the impact sent him sliding back.

"Finally," the Reaver rasped. "A worthy foe."

Void God didn't answer. He attacked.

Void Rend.

Black steel howled through the air — but the Reaver was fast. He twisted aside, the blade missing him by inches — and his glaive lashed out in response. Sparks flew as their weapons clashed, and for a moment, the battlefield around them fell away.

They moved like blurs — strikes and counters blending into a deadly dance. Each impact sent waves of force rippling outward. Soldiers on both sides backed away, unwilling to be caught in the storm.

But Void God wasn't here for a dance. He was here to end this.

Presence of the Abyss.

The air grew heavy. The Reaver staggered — his movements slowing as the void's weight pressed down on him.

Void God struck.

Abyssal Severance.

The first slash shattered the Reaver's glaive.

HP: 125,000 → 75,000

The second carved through his armor.

HP: 75,000 → 30,000

The Reaver fell to one knee, blood pooling around him. But when he looked up, his eyes burned with defiance.

"You think this… is over?"

The air shifted.

The shadows around the Reaver thickened — and a terrible presence stirred. The void's whispers rose in Void God's mind — but this time, they were not alone.

Something else whispered from the dark.

The Reaver stood — and his broken glaive reformed in his hands, now wreathed in black flame. His body twisted, shadows merging with flesh and armor alike — and when he spoke again, his voice was no longer his own.

"Come, Abysswalker. Show me your strength."

Void God smiled. "As you wish."
