VOIDBLADE: THE LAST SWORD OF THE END

Chapter 37: Chapter 38:The Abysswalker's Wrath

The battlefield fell silent as the Reaver's transformation took hold. His armor cracked and reshaped itself, jagged and pulsing with shadow. The broken glaive in his hand writhed, reforged into a monstrous weapon of black flame and bone. His eyes — once filled with rage — now glowed with cold, predatory hunger.

Void God felt the shift immediately. The whispers in his mind grew louder, but it wasn't the void alone this time. Something else had joined them — something old, something wrong.

"Abysswalker…" the Reaver's voice was no longer his own. It was layered, distorted, filled with countless other voices speaking in unison. "You tread a path that does not belong to you."

Void God's grip on Voidfang tightened. "And yet, here I am."

The Reaver attacked.

He crossed the distance in a blink — faster than before, his glaive leaving trails of black fire in its wake. Void God moved to evade, but the weapon's arc shifted unnaturally — bending through space, impossible to predict.

Void Step.

He vanished — but the Reaver was already there, waiting. The glaive fell again.

Presence of the Abyss.

The air grew heavy — but this time, the Reaver didn't slow. He carved through the oppressive stillness like it was nothing.

The blade reached Void God's chest.

Voidborn Will.

The flames struck — and dispersed. The void within him roared, swallowing the attack whole.

Void God countered.

Void Rend.

His blade flashed — but the Reaver blocked with impossible speed. Sparks burst as their weapons met — and then the Reaver twisted, his glaive's shaft slamming into Void God's side.

HP: 29,500 → 24,000

The force sent him skidding back, but he didn't fall.

"Good," the Reaver said, the layered voices almost… pleased. "But not good enough."

Void God didn't respond. He attacked.

Void Piercer.

The thrust distorted space — and the Reaver didn't dodge. He raised his glaive — and the attack bent away, the very air shifting around him.

But Void God was already moving.

Sword Entropy.

The follow-up strike lashed across the Reaver's armor — and this time, the void took hold. The black metal cracked and decayed, pieces falling away as the corruption spread.

HP: 30,000 → 18,000

The Reaver hissed — and attacked in kind.

The glaive blurred — and Void God felt the air rip apart around him. He blocked — but the force drove him to one knee.

HP: 24,000 → 15,000

The whispers grew louder. The void surged within him — hungry, eager. But he held it back. Not yet.

"You fight well," the Reaver said. "But you cannot win. The Abyss takes all."

Void God smiled. "We'll see."

He unleashed his full power.

Abyssal Severance.

The first strike shattered the Reaver's weapon.

HP: 18,000 → 9,000

The second carved through his chest.

HP: 9,000 → 2,000

The Reaver staggered — but did not fall. Instead, he laughed — a terrible, broken sound.

"You think this is victory?"

The ground beneath them cracked — and the shadows erupted.

The Reaver rose — his form shifting, warping — and Void God felt the presence behind him fully awaken.

But it was too late.

Void Step.

He reappeared behind the Reaver. Voidfang flashed — and the fight was over.

HP: 2,000 → 0

The Reaver collapsed, his body dissolving into shadow and flame. The whispers fell silent. And when the darkness faded…

…only the void remained.
