Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

Chapter 1467: The Next Morning

And just like that, the golden formation disappeared, as if it was never there.

The people were left speechless, there was a lot of panic, some were trying to find out what happened, others were thankful they didn't die.

Many thought it was some sort of terroristic attack, lots of people screaming on the streets too.

"Oh, there's a lot of commotion…" Helene sighed. "We'll have to do some statements and apologies later with the guild, but don't worry, we'll have this covered."

"Good, thank you," I nodded. "Now, the entire city should be freed from the Slumbering Curse. Tomorrow morning we move to the capital, I want to end this as quickly as possible so we can enjoy the rest of the week in here without worries."

"W-We really did it? That easily?" Chris wondered.

"Damn…" Erdrich said.

"Haha, well, better that way right?" Patricia giggled.

"We've definitely grown stronger… but more than anything, it's just Blake…" Eric smiled lightly. "He's a really unbelievable guy."

"Thank you Blake! I'll be forever grateful…!" Alberta said.

"Yeah… thanks a lot, young man!" Hellburn was about to cry.

"Ah, don't worry, I didn't do it for free though, I expect some good rewards later," I smiled gently at them.

Well, I still did it out of good will but… I might as well reap some rewards or benefits along the way, right?

"Let's go wash the dishes now," I said. "It's time to go rest, tomorrow will be a big day."

We walked to the kitchen with my friends, washed the dishes and at the end, we finished the day eating ice cream for dessert, before moving to our rooms and having a well-deserved rest in this five-star hotel manor.

As for Helene and Cattalina, alongside Hellburn and the nobles, they went outside, calming down the entire city and telling them what we did. And at night, once Erika and Elizabeth dropped asleep from exhaustion on the beds, I had a small date with Eleanora.

"It seems that things were solved quite quickly! Doesn't this feel a little anti-climactic, dear?" she wondered, giggling while looking down at the city with her glowing red eyes.

We were sitting on top of the Magician Tower, she was sitting between my legs, she was definitely taller than me, but I did my best to look down at the city with her.

"Yeah, with the power we have attained so far, that's only the norm," I smiled. "We'll deal with Belphegor tomorrow. This time I won't have any mercy… I don't want his damned fog to spread anywhere else, not when the final battle is approaching so soon."

"Calm down, we'll get through this together," Eleanora held my hands, as she approached her face towards mine. "Tonight you look really handsome, my lord~"

"And you look very beautiful, as always," I caressed her face.

Eleanora smiled warmly, as our lips drew closer.

While I kissed her, we enjoyed a night with just the two of us, these were the times she enjoyed the most, as a Vampire.

The next day arrived, Eleanora had come to bed with me once our date at night ended, and she happily slept by my side, between Erika and Elizabeth.

The morning started rather quickly took, with everyone waking up quite early, there was a lot of commotion outside.

After the news that Helene shared with the rest of the city, the people came to thank us, there were dozens of people bringing gifts, or anything just to thank us.

Some were celebrating, calling our names, and constantly screaming for me.

"Summoner! Summoner! Summoner!"

I seriously underestimated how hard could dwarves show their own gratitude… this was definitely overwhelming.

"Wooow! Helloooo!"

Erika waved her hand from the window at the people, as everyone cheered for her.

"Blake look! We're so popular!"

"I know… just leave them be, we don't have the time for this…"

"Hm… they're so noisy…"

Elizabeth sighed while resting her head on my shoulder, hugging me.

"Make them shut up…"

Although she was usually a very humble young woman, Elizabeth had a cute side like this in the mornings, when she was sleepy, she liked being spoiled.

"I can't, it would be too rude… but I can do this at least."

I snapped my fingers, as a Magic Barrier appeared around the entire manor, which quickly took away the sound of the people outside, without taking away the wound of the nature or the city in general.

"Eh? They shut up?" Eleanora wondered.

"Yeah, I simply used a Deafening Barrier, it's a simple Wind Attribute Spell," I explained. "I just modified it so it only blocked the noise of these people."

"That's amazing…" Elizabeth said, kissing my cheek. "Let's eat… I'm hungry… will you make me breakfast?"

"Well, if you ask while looking so adorable, I cannot really say no," I said, caressing her long, beautiful golden hair. "Let's first take a bath though."

"Hmm… I don't wanna…" Elizabeth yawned, jumping back to bed. "Bed breakfast… Please?"

"Okay… fine," I nodded. "Erika, you're awake so help me out."

"Ehhh? Okay…" Erika sighed.

Like that, another day started, we cooked breakfast for everyone. I prepared the usual, scrambled eggs, bacon, toasts and butter with strawberry jam, pancakes with whipped cream and fresh fruit, ad I also bought along some donuts, cupcakes, and a lot of monster meat for Erika's appetite… and a cup of fresh blood for Eleanora, of course.

"Alright, let's dig in," I sat over the bed. "Elizabeth, come on… wake up, your food is here. I bought you a hot chocolate like you always like every morning."

"Eh? Really?" she slowly opened her sleepy eyes, drinking it. "Hmm… yummy… I love your hot cocoa, dear…"

"You're terrible in the mornings, Elizabeth… come on, wake up already! Don't you feel the energy?!" Erika raised her hands while eating skewered meat. "Like… boom! Don't you feel it?"

"…No," Elizabeth sighed, drinking more hot cocoa and then beginning to eat a sandwich made of eggs, bacon, and cheese. "But this yummy food might give me the energy I need…"
