Chapter 1468: Moving Forward
-----
"This yummy food might give me the energy I need…" said Elizabeth as she ate the breakfast given to her.
"Haha, well, eat up," I laughed, patting her head gently. "Erika, Eleanora, you too, make sure to eat well, today we'll be doing a lot of things."
"We'll be fighting Belphegor right?" Erika asked, looking excited. "I'm kind of looking forward to it! We've grown so strong that we have to find some foe to test our strength after all…"
"I also wanted to fight Lucifer back then, maybe this time you'll let us fight the Archdemon?" Eleanora asked.
"I may, as long as we can catch him," I nodded. "The longer the battle takes the more advantage he'll gain, so it will be better if we overwhelm him together and kill him as quickly as possible."
"So that's the plan, huh?" Elizabeth yawned. "But what if he is stronger in that dream world of his?"
"Well, I have plenty of plans, so don't worry," I smiled confidently. "Fortunately, we have fought him before… the memories of that past life truly come in handy now."
"Fufu, we'll make him regret ever having tried to conquer this place," laughed Eleanora. "This world is ours to conquer after all! Hahahaha!"
"Huh?"
"Eh?"
Erika and Elizabeth looked at Eleanora as she laughed like a villainess…
I suppose some old habits die hard.
"No Eleanora we are not conquering this world…" I said. "But we might reign over a large portion of it through fair deals."
"Ahhh, well, that's the closest to it, so I cannot complain…" she smiled confidently.
After breakfast, we rejoined with my friends, we talked about what we were going to do today, and prepared to depart once everyone had eaten breakfast and had taken a bath, the journey to the capital wouldn't be long either, as we would all fly there on top of my Familiars and Dragons, including Ruby.
"ROOOAARR!"
Ruby roared mightily, standing in the middle of the plaza for everyone to see his glorious draconic might, by his side was Bestellen as well, overflowing with confidence and divine radiance.
The people were amazed, shocked, and flabbergasted, children looked in awe while old people were scared, running away.
There were several guards around our two rides, protecting them from onlookers that wanted to get closer… or rather, protecting the onlookers from them.
"Alright, ready then? Let's go!"
We quickly climbed over their backs, setting into the skies without wasting any time, the people beneath saw in awe, as Helene, Cattalina's friend, was by my side, she decided to accompany us and help however she could.
She was Rank 8 Spirit Grandmaster powerhouse, so I didn't mind her help at all, she was almost t the same level as Cattalina, with an Seven Star Talent, so her Magic and help would be incredibly useful and helpful.
"There it is the capital city of the Fierysmith Kingdom!" Helene said, gasping. "Indeed, it is covered by a thick black fog!"
We flew past the deserted wastelands and the snow-capped mountains, arriving above the capital of the Fierysmith Kingdom, there was indeed a thick black fog covering everything, making it nearly impossible to approach normally.
This was the place we would have to conquer…
"I can feel the presence of lifeforms down below, a lot of them, papa!"
Saphira, who was suverying down below, quickly alerted me of something incoming.
It seemed that Belphegor was warmly welcoming us, as the things he had been creating inside of that fog emerged by the hundreds.
Swarms of Nightmare Demonic Beasts roared, rushing towards us with enormous bat-like wings and aberrant appearances.
They had giant sharp claws and even sharper fangs, their eyes glowed bright red with bloodthirsty desire to gnaw at our souls and offer them to their master.
"Gryyaaarrr!"
"Gruoohhhh!"
"Shyaaaaghhh!"
Helene panicked, glancing at the scene in disbelief, she raised her staff as her spirits appeared around her, resembling small, colorful stars.
However, I stopped her.
"There's no need, please save your strength for later," I said. "I can take care of this without any issue…"
"{Elemental Bestowal: Holy Light}!"
In that moment, I summoned a thousand Familiars, and granted them the element of Holy Light, which was now infused with the essence of the Morning Star, giving them angelic power.
This, coupled with the Celestial Nanomachine Armor empowered them with enough power to rush through the monsters without issues.
Giant wolves, wyverns, dragons, drakes, and more creatures rushed down, rampaging through the skies and eliminating the Nightmare Demonic Beasts faster than they could come out.
"Ruby, Bestellen, combine your Auras!"
"ROOAARR!"
"Fine!"
Ruby and Bestellen roared, their powerful blazing and holy auras combined into a single bubble of white and red flames, rushing down and piercing through the black fog, as we reached deeper into the castle.
"W-We're inside?!" Helene panicked, looking everywhere.
"Looks like it…!" Alberta said. "It's all so dark, we can barely see anything…"
"Shouldn't we dispel the entire fog?" Elizabeth asked.
"That would be for the best, but it would leave Belphegor without any punishment, and he would spread it again later," I said. "First we have to kill him… for that, we will enter his very Domain. Not while sleeping, however, but with our bodies and souls. For that, Cattalina was indispensable."
"Alright! I can do this," Cattalina nodded, looking at the black fog everywhere. "Yes, it should work… I believe!"
She nodded confidently, unleashing her powers at once, as pink and black clouds manifested from her staff, rapidly forming a giant portal as the black fog was being sucked inside.
"{Dimensional Dream Gate}!"
I had given her a Spell Formula some time ago, which she had now mastered, a power not even I could properly conjure as I lacked all the Dream Element Power she possessed.
Hence, only she could pull this off.
"Ruby, Bestellen, rush inside!"
I ordered them, as both dragons rushed through the gate, and in that moment, we found ourselves within a warped, fragmented world born from old memories and fantasy.
Belphegor's Nightmare World.
