Chapter 75: Luciel's mental state

"What fake brotherhood are you talking about?" Don't talk nonsense; are you even worthy to be called my brother?" Treyton said while looking at Nathan.

"Hey! don't say such a hateful thing. We've been like brothers since a long time ago, so it can be said that we've been supporting each other for a long time," Nathan said.

"Supporting each other for a long time? Isn't it more accurate to say that you've been causing trouble for me for a long time?"

"What are you talking about? I didn't do such things," Nathan denied immediately.

"Don't try to erase your memory about all the trouble you had caused us. From our school days until we've become adults, you've been causing trouble for us.

If Mason wasn't there to share the trouble, I would have sent you abroad a long time ago. I'm sure your parents would have agreed," Treyton said.

Treyton, Nathan, and Mason, Ava's brother, had been friends a long time ago. Among the three of them, Nathan was really the one that knows how to make a lot of trouble but doesn't know how to solve them.

He and Mason would always be involved; that's why they were forced to solve Nathan's troubles.

After solving a lot of trouble repeatedly, he and Mason decided to solve each half of Nathan's troubles to save more time and have more peaceful time to spend on other things.

Whether it was participating in fights that Nathan provoked until even assisting and investing in his clinic, all of it was done by sharing 50 percent from him and another 50 percent from Mason.

The others who knew about it were all saying that they were spoiling Nathan too much. Nathan's parents also knew that they couldn't do anything about him because, as long as Nathan had his and Mason's support, he couldn't starve even after leaving his family.

They were all saying that they were spoiling him, and they also agreed to the statement, but they didn't pay attention to it.

Thankfully, their spoiling didn't cause him to grow crooked; Nathan actually had the most normal psychology among the three of them.

Maybe, that's also the reason why they were still friends until now.

"That's what friends are for!" Nathan said justifiably.

"Ok, let's not talk about brotherhood anymore. Are you sure we only need to be careful about not disturbing Luciel's sleep?

Luciel was really a bit scary a while ago, so I need to know what else would provoke his bad mood. I don't want to have daggers suddenly thrown at me if I accidentally provoked him because I didn't know anything," Nathan said.

Nathan's description of Luciel being a bit scary was a bit inappropriate if he looked at the reactions of Zam and the others. They were obviously afraid of Luciel; that's why they suddenly became more wary of him.

They weren't afraid of his skills or how he slashed others because they could do it to. What they were afraid of was something else.

They were at the side, so they clearly saw Luciel's expression the entire time. The murderousness he showed towards Mr. Adel's group that deterred them from moving because of fear was indeed a bit scary.

But what they were really afraid of was his attitude. The way he looked at Mr. Adel's group was as if he wasn't looking at people at all. He expressed nothing on his face, as if he were just cleaning up animals or other things on the roadside.

Luciel also said that he would cut their heads off if they irritated him further, and they could see that he wasn't lying at all.

It's as if killing wasn't hard and was just one of some chores you need to do every day. He was really at ease and could even ask for a meal after doing such a thing.

With the way he dealt with Mr. Adel's group, it was very clear to the others that Luciel had already killed a lot of people in the past.

Treyton doesn't know how many people you need to kill in order to disregard it as nothing.

He also killed some criminals in the past, when the situation wasn't ideal. The feeling of killing someone even though they were criminals who had done a lot of crimes that harm people still clearly weighed on his mind for a long time.

So, he really doesn't know how many people you need to kill to have such an indifferent attitude toward killing as if it were just a normal thing to do.

What happened a while ago also clearly indicated that Luciel's mentality is slightly skewed.

He already knew that Luciel's mental state was strong based on how he was reacting to all that was suddenly happening around them.

But no matter how strong your mentality is, you shouldn't regard killing people as something insignificant.

So, Luciel clearly had a problem regarding his mental state, but it wasn't that noticeable because they weren't encountering people like Mr. Adel's group in their daily lives.

Most of the time Luciel was very leisurely; unless he was disturbed from sleeping, he was still very amicable.

"Hey! Treyton, I'm asking if there is anything else that would trigger Luciel's bad mood. Why aren't you replying?

"I'm just thinking about something. As for things that would trigger Luciel's bad mood aside from disturbing his sleep, it would be something related to food.

As long as you don't touch his snacks without permission, then everything is fine. He is very tolerant towards Ashlee and the other kids and doesn't mind sharing his snacks with them, but as for the others, you should get his permission if you wanted to have some of his food.

That's the only thing I know, as for other things that would trigger his bad mood. Let's just wait and see," Treyton said.

"What? Wait, and see? You still wanted to see him in a bad mood? Both of you are really strange," Nathan said.
