Chapter 74: Doubting who he is
"Are you going to eat some snacks? If you're going to eat some snacks, then better eat them in our room. Wes and the others still need to clean this place for a bit," Treyton said.
Treyton was still being considerate and didn't want him to lose his appetite while looking at the bloodied place he caused, but he really doesn't need to.
He had been accustomed to such scenes in his past life. And even if he had just killed someone, he would still eat as long as there's food because he needed enough energy to move and fight monsters or other humans again.
Besides, they have been seeing a lot of zombies for the past few weeks, with even their various organs showing around. They could still eat properly after seeing such scenes.
They might have rationalized it in their heads that zombies weren't humans anymore, so they adapted well to seeing zombies, and they didn't feel anything afterwards, so they were still able to eat properly after seeing zombies before mealtime.
However, what they saw today was a human, a human arm, and human blood; that's why they were still pale even though they had seen a lot of things.
Though, for him, humans and zombies weren't that different. Zombies blood, humans blood—they're just the same in his eyes. They were just blood that needed to be washed off as long as they were on him.
"No need, I'll take a bath first," Luceil said while looking at his clothes, which had some blood on them.
"Zam, prepare some water for me," Treyton said while walking towards their temporary room.
He didn't bother asking Yang, who had always been doing the task, to do it because his face was still pale.
"You're not going to suddenly throw a dagger at us, right?" Nathan asked while stepping back a bit when he passed by him.
"Of course not; I'm still sane. Why would I even throw daggers at you guys? Besides, my daggers are still on the ground; I don't have any daggers to throw," Luciel said, then he looked at his daggers that were on the ground.
He didn't bother picking them up because they were used to castrate two people. It's better to let the others clean them first before putting them back in their place.
"Or are you volunteering to be my practice target?" Luceil said while looking at Nathan with a smile.
"No, no, I don't want to be castrated. My dad would be sad if he knew that I can't leave any descendant for our family," Nathan immediately said while even shaking his head to show his rejection.
"Your brother already left a descendant. Even if you don't leave any, your dad won't be sad about it," Treyton said, exposing Nathan.
"Don't worry, as long as you don't disturb my sleep, I won't suddenly throw daggers at you," Luceil said while chuckling for a bit.
"Doesn't that mean I'm the person that would be endangered the most because I'm always the noisiest?" Nathan said darkly.
"Oh, it seemed that you still have good self-awareness," Luciel said while appreciating Nathan's face.
After having a bit of fun, Luciel finally went to take a bath.
-----
"Whew, he finally left," Nathan said as soon as he saw Luciel enter their room.
"Treyton, tell me clearly, where did you really find Luciel?!" Nathan immediately asked him.
"I already told you before that he is a model. You can ask Yang if you don't believe it," Treyton said.
"Yes, he is indeed a model. Treyton first saw him in a fashion show," Yang said.
"Really? Then how is he so skilled?" Nathan asked again.
"I didn't ask him about it," Treyton said.
"Why didn't you ask him? "
"Then why don't you do it yourself?" Treyton said.
"No? What if I get castrated because of asking about it? Seeing how he leisurely cut off others manhood is really scary," Nathan said with a bit of fear.
"You should ask himself about it. You're his lover; he probably won't castrate you," Nathan insisted.
"I won't ask him about it. If he wanted to tell me, then he would tell me about it. I'll just wait for him to say it," Treyton said seriously.
"Ok, I understand," Nathan said while sighing.
"But what did he really do in the past? Is he perhaps a secret agent? Or perhaps a special agent in the army?" Nathan said as he was really pondering about Luceil's identity.
"Don't bother thinking about it. He may be a special agent or whatever; as long as you don't provoke him, you don't have to worry about his daggers being thrown at you," Treyton said.
"With how irritable he is when woken up, how did you manage to survive when you are always the one who wakes him up?" Nathan asked curiously.
"You just need to be strong enough to dodge his attacks. That's why I always warn you guys not to disturb him when he is sleeping.
If I'm not around and you really want to wake him up, you guys better ask Zam or Wes to wake him up. They're the ones who could dodge Luciel's instinctive attacks."
He had been accustomed to dodging Luciel's attack whenever he tried to wake him up, but it would be hard for others to dodge his attacks if they were unprepared.
Luciel would always instinctively attack places that could instantly kill his opponents or his opponents' weak points.
He doesn't know what Luciel had been doing in the past, but people with such instincts must have been in an environment where they would die if they lowered their guards for a bit.
They were also accustomed to being attacked by others, so they already had the habit of always targeting the opponents' weak spots or having them die on the spot.
"Wow, I didn't know you were actually doing such a task. I always thought you warned us not to disturb him because you just don't want others touching him. Oh, I can finally believe in brotherhood again!" Nathan said.
