Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 52: Staying indoors

Then you should go and ask your brother Calvin to teach you after they finish with what they are doing," Luciel said to Ashlee, who was smiling brightly.

So, after the others finished moving their things to the second floor, Ashlee immediately went to Calvin and asked if he could teach her.

Luciel saw that Calvin was even a bit flustered but agreed in the end after looking at Treyton and Yang.

"Sir, the snacks you left in the car are all here," Zam said while pointing at the two boxes he just carried upstairs.

"Ok, thanks," Luciel said and didn't bother with Treyton and Yang, who were discussing the supplies they currently have.

Luciel started rummaging in the boxes and separated the snacks he would be bringing into his room.

He only separated a few because he still has a lot of snacks in their space. Even if he finished all the snacks he got, he still has more in their space.

After everyone finished sorting out the things they got from their car and got a bit of drinking water from the water ability users, Treyton let them rest.

It's still in the middle of the night, so they should all have a good rest to have more energy to do things tomorrow.

Luciel and Treyton also went back to their temporary room on the third floor.

"How long do you think the rain will last?" Luciel asked Treyton while lying on the bed.

"I hope it stops tomorrow, but with the way it is raining, maybe it'll stop in four days just like before," Treyton said while also lying beside him.

"I also hope it would stop tomorrow, but it really seems unlikely," Luceil agreed.

However, even though Luciel was hoping that the rain would stop tomorrow, he actually knew that it wouldn't stop.

It was written in the novel that the first rainy weather would continue for nearly two weeks.

So even though he was also hoping for it to stop tomorrow, he already knew he didn't have much hope.

When Luciel and Treyton went downstairs in the morning, they could see that they were already busy.

Yang and the other water ability users were slowing producing water while the others were busy looking for containers to store water.

"What's wrong with the weather again? Can't it just stay sunny until we reach north? Now we can't even travel," Nathan said while practicing his ability.

He was controlling the output of fire and tried to make shapes using his fire ability.

"What are you trying to make? A horse?" Luciel asked while looking at what Nathan was trying to shape.

"How mean, I'm making a rabbit!"

"Huh? It doesn't even look like a rabbit. Right Treyton?" Luciel also asked Treyton.

"Yeah, how can it be a rabbit when it doesn't even show a proper shape?" Treyton said while sitting.

"Hey! Give me a break, you two. You guys clearly lack imagination," Nathan said while looking at them unhappily.

"Uncle, that's not a rabbit. A rabbit is very cute," Ashlee also said while looking at what Nathan was doing.

"Ugh."

After successive comments from them, Nathan finally gave up trying to make a rabbit out of fire.

He began practicing writing letters using fire instead. Even though they couldn't even make out what he was trying to write because they could only see straight lines, they didn't bother stopping him.

Even though he was trying to use it in a fancy way, they didn't say anything because it was still an effective method for practicing his proficiency.

After everyone had breakfast and started to do their own things because they couldn't go out for the time being.

Most of the ability users were practicing their own abilities.

Treyton assigned Mark and the others from the gym to train the others to have a stronger body.

Treyton also assigned Wes to give pointers on how to deal with zombies and basic fighting techniques to the others after they finished training with Mark.

The others also don't have any objections because they knew that they were doing it for their own good.

Treyton already stated that he won't be able to protect them, so they have to fight on their own later.

Ashlee was also doing her routine of running 20 times and then practicing her throwing skills.

While Ashlee was practicing on her own without saying anything, Ava, who was forced to run around by Treyton, kept on complaining.

"Hey! Why do I need to run around while he was only sitting there leisurely?" Ava said while pointing at him.

"I'm also practicing my abilities, can't you see?" Luciel said while raising the flowerpot with strawberries in it.

"Liar! You are just watching a movie!" Ava pointed out.

"Yes, I am, but I'm still practicing, aren't I?" Luciel said, then ate the strawberry he had just grown.

He didn't care about Ava anymore but just continued to watch the movie he was watching while leisurely growing strawberries until they bore fruits for him to eat.

He obviously wasn't training seriously, but since Treyton didn't say anything, the others also didn't care except for Ava, who was complaining about him but still couldn't do anything about it.

Treyton had an agreement with him, so even though he would remind him to practice for his own good, he wouldn't force him to practice if he didn't want to.

He was practicing in their space sometimes, and with how many plants had already grown in their space, Luciel was sure that Treyton already knew that he was more capable than the other plant users with them. So, he wasn't even reminding Luciel to practice anymore.

All of them were busy practicing in the morning, but in the afternoon all the others became busy again because the water was currently reaching the first floor.

The rain kept getting stronger, so the drainage system couldn't keep up with the water flow.

The others were busy moving those that they deemed to be useful from the first floor to the second and third floors.
