Chapter 210: Overlord Haki

Thousand Illusion Mask
Aoki's mind stirred, and a transparent orb appeared in his hand. It felt soft and elastic to the touch.
After unsealing it, the orb transformed into a transparent mask.
Its purpose was clear—it could alter the wearer's appearance. To use it, one only needed to press it onto their face.
Aoki sighed inwardly.
Like the healing potion, it was undoubtedly a good item, but for him, it held little value. His Perfect Mimicry ability was far superior.
Overall, this unboxing didn't yield results as satisfying as the last one.
With that, Aoki placed the Thousand Illusion Mask into his spatial storage and shifted his focus back to the system panel.
The increase in his attributes was self-evident, but the most significant improvement to his strength lay in his skills—his Ultimate Form had been upgraded to Level 3.
Aoki silently tested its effects, and a glimmer of surprise flashed in his eyes.
The strength of the Ultimate Form remained unchanged, but the upgrade had significantly extended its duration.
At Level 1, it lasted 10 seconds. At Level 2, it extended to 10 minutes. Now, at Level 3, it could be sustained for a full two hours!
This change was monumental. With a two-hour duration, there was no longer any need to worry about using the Ultimate Form sparingly or planning an immediate retreat.
Two hours was more than sufficient for a proper battle.
Of course, battles between the strongest in the pirate world could sometimes last for days. But such cases were rare and occurred only when both sides were exceptionally powerful and evenly matched.
In most situations, two hours was more than enough.
The only downside was that his Dragon Breath ability was still at a low level, limiting its offensive power.
Aoki closed the system interface and resumed his hunting mission.
The Eradication task was complete, but the Captain Hunter mission still awaited him.
---
The night passed quickly.
"Finally, all five captains have been dealt with."
Aoki stepped out of the hotel and looked up at the sky. Dawn had arrived.
The last two captains had taken much longer to locate than the first three. Unlike the Gentleman Pirates and the Python Pirates, the remaining targets were lesser-known, making them harder to track.
"Mission accomplished. Time to leave."
Unfurling his bat-like wings, Aoki ascended into the sky. His figure streaked over the Sabaody Archipelago, heading swiftly toward the Red Line.
---
Not long after, shocking news spread throughout the Sabaody Archipelago.
Overnight, four pirate crews had been annihilated, including the Gentleman Pirates and the Python Pirates—two of the most prominent groups in the region.
At first, the news sparked curiosity, surprise, and even schadenfreude. But as more details emerged, fear and dread soon followed.
Eyewitnesses revealed that all four pirate crews had been destroyed by a single individual.
No one knew his name, but his reputation was already taking shape. He was described as cold-blooded and merciless.
Rumors even claimed he had beheaded a bar owner on the spot for delaying payment.
This mysterious figure was not only strong enough to massacre the Gentleman Pirates and the Python Pirates single-handedly but also ruthless to the extreme.
Panic gripped the remaining pirates, who now feared for their lives.
---
At the naval base, the tension outside the chaos was minimal.
A thick-browed navy officer and his companions stood at the gate, performing their duties with a relaxed posture.
Despite the upheaval in the Sabaody Archipelago, few dared to challenge the naval base. Its proximity to Navy Headquarters made it a near-impossible target for anyone without a death wish.
Two navy officers passed by, deep in conversation.
"The Gentleman Pirates and the Python Pirates were wiped out?"
"Yes. Their captains and key members were all killed. That's basically the end of their crews."
"Four pirate groups in total?"
"Five. That bar owner? Turns out he was a pirate captain too."
"So more than twenty deaths last night?"
"More than thirty!"
"The Gentleman Pirates and the Python Pirates?"
The thick-browed marine's expression shifted dramatically as he quickly asked, "Brothers, did you just say the Gentlemen Pirates and the Python Pirates were destroyed? What happened?"
"That's right!" one of the marines confirmed. "Not just Gentleman and Python—five pirate groups in total were wiped out by one person. I don't know where this ruthless guy came from..."
The two sailors stopped in their tracks and began talking animatedly.
The thick-browed marine hesitated before asking, "Could it be... an ordinary-looking, somewhat honest young man who did this?"
Both sailors exchanged surprised glances.
"According to eyewitness descriptions, the killer is indeed a simple-looking, black-haired young man. Do you know him?"
"It's really him!"
The thick-browed marine was stunned, his mind spinning.
It was rare for a pirate hunter to come directly to the naval base to collect bounty orders, so he remembered the honest-looking young man from yesterday vividly.
But to hear such shocking news today...
Who exactly was that person?
If he were a pirate hunter, why didn't he bring the heads to claim the bounties?

Shakky's Rip-Off Bar
Rayleigh walked in leisurely, his demeanor as relaxed as always. The bar was empty.
Shakky was busy teaching Hancock how to wield Haki. Hearing the sound of footsteps, she turned to look.
"Rayleigh, why are you so late today?"
Rayleigh took a seat and said, "The people of the Sabaody Archipelago are in a panic. Everyone's trying to set sail as quickly as possible."
"Because of the Buster Call?" Shakky asked in surprise. "Hasn't the impact of that already faded?"
"It has nothing to do with the Buster Call," Rayleigh replied. He briefly recounted the events of the previous night.
Shakky lit a cigarette, her expression intrigued. "Gentleman and Python, huh? I've heard of them. They're pretty strong."
She exhaled a puff of smoke. "For someone to kill them so easily, they must be incredibly powerful. When did such a strong individual arrive in the Sabaody Archipelago?"
Rayleigh sat back, a faint smile on his face. "Who knows?"
Now retired, Rayleigh had no interest in getting involved in such matters, as long as they didn't disturb his peaceful life.
"How's Hancock's training coming along?" he asked.
Shakky crossed her arms and replied, "Very good. Hancock..."
Her words trailed off as she and Rayleigh turned to look at Hancock.
The girl had suddenly opened her eyes, her long black hair flying, and her elegant dress billowing as if caught in an unseen wind.
A heavy pressure filled the air. The atmosphere grew distorted as an invisible force struck at their will and souls.
Rayleigh set his wine glass down, his eyes reflecting a trace of surprise. "Conqueror's Haki!"
Conqueror's Haki was a rare and innate power, almost impossible to detect before awakening.
Aoki had once confidently claimed that Hancock possessed it, but Rayleigh had been skeptical at the time.
Now, to his astonishment, Aoki had been correct.
Shakky's gaze was filled with complex emotions—surprise, joy, and a hint of regret.
Hancock had truly awakened her Conqueror's Haki.
If no unforeseen events occurred, she would undoubtedly become the strongest warrior Amazon Lily had seen in decades.
She should have been the perfect candidate for empress.
Unfortunately, she had been taken away before that destiny could be fulfilled.
Hancock seemed momentarily confused but quickly understood. A flicker of joy danced in her deep blue eyes.
"So this is Conqueror's Haki," she murmured, her voice filled with wonder. "Next time Aoki comes back, we can give him a surprise."
