Chapter 211: First Arrival at the West Sea and the Traitor Robin

______

The sky was clear, and the sea was as calm as a mirror, resembling two massive sapphires reflecting one another.

A lone figure flew past.

Although Aoki had been traveling for several days, he appeared full of energy, with no trace of fatigue on his face.

With his immense physical strength, he could theoretically continue flying like this indefinitely. However, while his stamina remained high, mental exhaustion occasionally set in. Fortunately, he could retreat to another space to rest whenever needed.

Before long, a black line emerged on the horizon where the sea met the sky.

Aoki's spirits lifted as he quickened his pace.

The black line gradually expanded, transforming into what looked like a "dark world."

Thick, ominous clouds divided the sky, accompanied by howling winds, flashes of lightning, claps of thunder, and torrential rain.

Aoki paused at the edge of the rain curtain, observing the scene.

"Is it more common for storms to occur where the Calm Belt meets the Four Seas and the Grand Line?"

This was the third time he'd reached the edge of the Calm Belt, and each time, he had encountered heavy rain.

Despite the bad weather, his mood was light and even cheerful.

The West Blue was just ahead.

His long journey was finally nearing its end.

With a strong flap of his wings, Aoki plunged into the storm.

The storm wasn't particularly large, and he quickly emerged from the windy, rainy chaos.

The sky cleared once more.

The sea below swayed gently, its waves splashing playfully.

The Four Seas were nothing like the Grand Line. Here, there was no chaotic magnetic field, and the weather wasn't unpredictably harsh.

For pirates, the Grand Line was a paradise.

But for ordinary people, the Four Seas were far more suitable for everyday life.

Of course, this assessment only accounted for the climate.

"First, I need to find a settlement and ask about the location of Balabio."

Aoki resumed flying forward.

It had been a year since Robin was last spotted in Balabio. She had likely changed her hiding place by now.

He didn't expect to locate her directly but hoped to uncover some clues.

While searching for Robin, he also intended to complete other tasks along the way.

---

Deep Spring Town was an ordinary town in the Kano country . It derived its name from a central spring that provided water to the entire town.

A criminal organization known as the White Feather Society was entrenched here, thriving off its casino operations and high-interest loans.

Inside one of the casinos, a tall, fair-skinned girl was meticulously reviewing an account book.

Nearby, a sultry woman dressed in revealing attire waved at her.

"Robin, stop working so hard. Come take a break!"

"Alright, President," Robin responded, setting the ledger aside and walking over.

The alluring woman picked up a glass filled with golden brandy and handed it to Robin.

"Robin, you have great potential. I've been watching your performance over the past few days," the woman said with a smile.

"Recently, the leader of Group 3 made a grave mistake and has been removed from their position. I'm considering appointing you as the new leader of Group 3."

Robin accepted the glass with a smile, gratitude evident on her face.

"Thank you, President. I won't let you down!"

The woman returned the smile and raised her glass in a toast.

Robin clinked her glass with the woman's, lifting it to her lips. However, just as the glass was about to touch her lips, she paused and put it down.

"Hmm?"

The woman's face darkened slightly, her displeasure evident.

Robin swirled the brandy in her glass, observing the golden liquid as it cascaded down the glass wall.

"This is premium brandy from the Calvin Estate in the Flores Kingdom," Robin said calmly. "It should have the aroma of oak and fruit blending together.

"However, this wine carries a complex floral scent. If I'm not mistaken, potpourri has been added to it."

Although the name Hundred Flower Fruit sounds pleasant, it is actually a highly poisonous fruit capable of killing a person within minutes. Its name comes from its resemblance to certain fruits and the complex floral fragrance it emits.

The smile on the enchanting woman's face slowly vanished.

"I wanted to give you an easy way out, but since you didn't accept my toast, you'll have to drink the penalty wine!"

She waved her hand.

A group of thugs poured out from the shadows, quickly surrounding Robin.

The seductive woman regained her composure, her eyes gleaming with malicious intent as she studied Robin.

"Nico Robin, the infamous Demon's Child! When I learned you were hiding within our White Feather Society, I was ecstatic! Do you know why? Your head will fetch us the favor of the World Government. With their support, the White Feather Society will rise to unimaginable heights!"

Robin, unfazed, smiled calmly.

"You seem happy, but isn't it a bit premature to celebrate?"

Boom!

The casino doors suddenly burst open, slamming against the walls. A group of men stepped in, their presence dominating the room.

"Is this the headquarters of the White Feather Society?"

The enchanting woman turned toward the sound, her expression shifting drastically.

"The Happo Navy?! Impossible! Why would the Happo Navy be here?"

The Happo Navy was the official pirate force of the Kano country, with a reputation so great that it had produced legendary figures like Don Chinjao.

The gap between the White Feather Society and the Happo Navy was like comparing a firefly to the bright moon.

The woman's eyes darted to Robin, her voice trembling with fury.

"It's you! Nico Robin! You planned to betray us all along! Just like the legends say, you're born to be a traitor, rebellious by nature! I should never have taken you in!"

Robin's smile remained, but her gaze turned distant and pained.

Betray them?

If she hadn't overheard their plan to eliminate her two days ago, why would she have done this?

Forced to evade the Navy and the World Government, Robin had no choice but to hide in the shadows of the criminal underworld. Yet, even here, she found no sanctuary. This merciless world offered no safety—only betrayal as a means to survive.

"I'll kill you first!"

The woman, consumed by rage, gritted her teeth and pulled a pistol from her bosom.

Before she could aim, four arms suddenly sprouted from Robin's shoulders.

Two hands grabbed the woman's wrists, immobilizing her, while the other two clamped onto her head.

"W-wait a moment!"

A flicker of fear flashed in the woman's eyes.

It was too late.

Snap!

Her neck twisted a full 360 degrees.

"President!"

The thugs, still reeling from the sudden appearance of the Happo Navy, froze at the sight of their leader's lifeless body.

"Everyone, lay down your weapons!" one of the Happo Navy bellowed.

Overwhelmed, the thugs hesitated. But before they could surrender, pairs of hands suddenly sprouted from their backs, shoving them toward the Happo Navy.

The clash erupted into chaos.

Amid the turmoil, Robin vanished like a ghost in the night.

---

At the back entrance of the casino, Robin emerged into the open air. After scanning her surroundings to ensure no one was nearby, she donned a prepared hat, pulling it low to conceal her face. She slipped out into the bustling streets.

A crowd had gathered outside the casino, their faces alight with relief and joy. Some even shed tears of gratitude.

The White Feather Society had long been a blight on Deep Spring Town, leaving countless lives shattered in its wake.

Robin glanced at the crowd briefly before lowering her gaze and moving on.

Two days ago, she had sent the incriminating evidence she'd gathered to the authorities. She could have fled immediately, but staying behind had ensured the plan's success.

Now, her gamble seemed to have paid off.

"I hope I can stay a little longer at the next place," she murmured to herself.

With that, she melted seamlessly into the crowd, disappearing into the sea of people.
