After the worship ceremony ended, a lavish breakfast was served.

The main talk was about the changes to the family and consortium. Chen Kai laid it out for the elders.

There will be no idle young descendants in the Li Clan. They must finish college no matter what major they settle on. They will be on their own after graduation with an annual allowance to help them get by while working; no elders are allowed to give them additional funds outside of gift money. He didn't want to breed toxic rich kids in the clan.

The old master was too lazy to deal with them, but Chen Kai isn't.

".... By the end of the week, everything should be sorted, right?" Chen Kai completed his plan for the family; all that's left is the execution. The branch families had been too lax lately, using the companies in their hands as their personal treasure trove. He had all the specific reports in hand but one must leave some doubt. He wanted to see what these old dandies would do.

Old Master Li didn't put them in his eyes or use a bit of strength to rein them in, but things are about to change.

In two hours, there will be a national broadcast. The Li Consortium's main product launch will happen right after. It will be clear that the two are working together.

He smiled slowly, but not a glimmer of warmth was matched in his eyes. The elders feared his next words.

Leaving the exclusive gated community, a monstrous convoy joined the line of cars on the main street. The dark-tinted luxury SUVs and cars startled the surrounding drivers. Instinctively, they made a good bit of distance either at the back or the sides. The ones who were in front saw the lineup and immediately gave way.

Knowing the cost of these cars was enough to scare them, but the license plate numbers are a different story.

Government officials are escorting a bigshot in the Midnight Blue Rolls-Royce. Who the heck is that? Many conjectures began, but the steady but loud revs of numerous motorcycles paused their musings. Outside their windows, six riders on Ducatis swerved in and out of the traffic, keeping an ample distance from the convoy.

It was clear that this was added security. Who the heck is this? Not even those tyrants move like this.

"Isn't this too eye-catching?" Chen Kai asked unhurriedly.

The National Security Agents who were assigned to this young patriarch heard this question. They wanted to answer frankly but gave the taught answer.

"This is the best way."

Chen Kai gave the agent a smile, saying, 'Is that the best you can do?'

Another step has been made, and the Li family is in the middle of it.

The server they created is AI-operated and adaptable to older servers of the country. Basically, National Security is now everywhere.

The AI part was Chen Kai's contribution.

The scientist in his family lab did most of the legwork, but it was his addition that brought everything together. Now that major things are digitized, doesn't that mean some products and services are going to be obsolete?

Chen Kai wasn't bothered as there are easy solutions to put in place, but there will always be nosy people.

The envoy reached the Tech Emporium under the consortium. It was also the same venue he listed for the luncheon and news conference. Many reporters were camped outside, eyeing any car that pulled up. Passers-by found out who was set to arrive and joined the melee. The crowd was comparable to the red carpet at an award ceremony.

The safety factor has risen. Anything can happen.

Chen Kai still had his indifferent expression on his face when he looked at the crowd outside.

"Let's see if your presence is a deterrent, gentlemen."
