The Star Lord of Asgard

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The Deal with Agamotto

"Since you've observed many timelines, you should know that I have no designs on Midgard! My goal should be clear to you! So, will you assist me? I can set up a sanctuary on Earth and help you maintain Midgard's safety from the Sanctum Sanctorum," Della stated confidently.

Agamotto pondered Della's words. He had seen this scenario unfold in his observations, prompting him to meet Della.

In the timelines he observed, the sanctuary established by Della greatly benefited Midgard, easing the pressure on the Sanctum Sanctorum and helping to cultivate a following.

"Midgard is indeed special. Many dimensions covet it, but I have no such ambitions. My aim is to become a dimensional Mephista, free myself from the Aesir's lifespan limitations, and transcend the universe. Our goals do not conflict," Della assured, aware of Agamotto's observations through the Time Stone.

"I agree! In the timelines I've seen, your sanctuary is pivotal for Midgard. If I discover any new unmanned dimensions, I'll inform you," Agamotto agreed to Della's proposal. This was a significant step, as Della was destined to become a formidable force in the future.

Agamotto had seen a future where Della mastered time, gazing across timelines—a power even his own form, Vishanti, couldn't achieve. This insight made Agamotto keen to align with Della while maintaining some distance due to the complexities involved.

"Dealing with wise individuals is efficient! Hypnos, one of my subordinate gods, will serve as my representative in Midgard, establishing a sanctuary to help fend off other-dimensional threats. However, I do hope for prompt news on any unmanned dimensions," Della declared, deeply interested in unmanned dimensions for his strength's progression.

The eighth sense of the small universe revolved around spatial awareness, and unmanned dimensions offered ideal conditions for cultivating this sense. Della trusted that Agamotto, with his knowledge of numerous timelines, could pinpoint such dimensions.

Della's plan to establish a sanctuary on Earth was a gesture of goodwill, hoping Agamotto would reciprocate with timely information about unmanned dimensions. Though Della hadn't mastered the seventh sense, he wasn't in a rush; as an Aesir, time was on his side.

"Understood," Agamotto acknowledged Della's intent. Showing sincerity first encouraged Agamotto to prioritize the search for unmanned dimensions. Even if Della wasn't as formidable yet, Odin's alliance made him a valuable ally.

As Agamotto's voice faded, the mirrored space around Della receded, and Agamotto departed through a portal.

"Your Highness, is this Sorcerer Supreme trustworthy?" asked Hypnos, eyeing the closed portal.

"He's a reliable ally, but my interest lies more with a future Sorcerer Supreme! In the quest for unmanned dimensions, no one has more insight than the one wielding the Time Stone," Della explained.

As the elder of the twin gods, Hypnos excelled in organizing and executing tasks, while Thanatos was more of a warrior, focused on combat.

Della knew Agamotto would soon transfer his mantle to the Ancient One before returning to his dimension as a deity.

"I understand. I'll arrange for someone to establish the sanctuary on Earth after we leave," Hypnos replied, accustomed to Della's plans and executing them without question.

"When the time comes, you'll oversee the sanctuary and recall the Zodiac warriors. Midgard's sun-aligned constellations make it ideal for their training," Della instructed Hypnos.

With Hypnos' current strength, akin to a Sub-God Father, he was well-suited to manage the sanctuary.

"Your Highness, is it necessary for the Zodiac to guard Midgard? As an Asgard domain, Bifrost can access it anytime. Why establish a sanctuary here?" Thanatos queried, puzzled by Della's decision.

"The human lifespan in Midgard is brief. You may spend a century in retreat, but for Midgard, that's a mortal's lifetime. I need to plan ahead," Della explained, though not in detail, as Thanatos' curiosity didn't warrant further elaboration.

Understanding Della had his reasons, Thanatos accepted the plan without further inquiries.

With the sanctuary's establishment underway, Della set off for his next destination—the universe's premier artifact crafting location.
