Chapter 11: Chapter Eleven: Earth Journey
"Lord Della, why did you wake us so suddenly? What's happened?" Thanatos and Hypnos stirred from their practice.
Gifted with divine power by Della, they wielded the power of star destruction and star creation, respectively. Their unmatched combat prowess positioned them as leaders below the Sub-God Father class, on par with the future Thor.
"After so much cultivation, it's time to venture out and explore the world with me." With matters in Asgard settled, a long period of peace lay ahead.
The starting point for major Marvel events is around 2008, giving Della nearly two thousand years for development.
In two millennia, Della believed he could reach the Multiverse level, if not the Almighty Universe level!
Under Odin's rule, the Nine Realms would enjoy peace, without wars. During this time, Della planned to seek opportunities across the universe.
Opportunities in the vast Marvel universe rival those in epic fantasy tales. With luck, one could ascend rapidly—like future god-slayers who vanquished many deities with a single stroke.
Currently, Della's strength was among the universe's greatest. Coupled with his formidable forces, he had surpassed his weak period and entered a growth phase.
"Yes," Thanatos and Hypnos agreed without question. As Della's devoted followers, his commands were absolute—even Odin couldn't sway them.
Days later, Della arranged affairs for his departure and bid farewell to Odin and Frigga.
For this eldest son who seldom left Asgard, the king and queen understood his desire to explore. As Asgard had no precedent for such prolonged absence, they supported Della's journey.
"Heimdall! Send us to Midgard!" Della and the twin gods approached the Bifrost, meeting Asgard's gatekeeper. Della respected Heimdall, a unique being who could see across the universe.
A rainbow burst, and Della and the twins arrived on Earth. The planet was still untamed, with sparse human presence amidst vast forests, mountains, and rivers.
"So this is Earth now!" Della inhaled the Earth's air, sensing the immense divine power gestating at its core.
"Is that the new Celestial?" Della recalled the Celestial's might vividly, a force beyond his current capabilities.
"Yet, it won't be born smoothly!" Della chuckled, recalling the Celestial's future irony.
A once-formidable Celestial almost crushed by Thanos in its embryonic state, ultimately perishing at the hands of its own creations, the Eternals.
Currently, the Eternals were advancing human technology on Earth, striving to cultivate a better environment for humanity—though only their leader, Ajak, knew the full extent.
Della's return to Earth wasn't without purpose.
As the focal point of Marvel's universe, Earth was a uniquely significant planet.
Throughout the universe's millennia, Earth experienced more upheaval than most.
All manner of powerful beings had their eyes on Earth.
The Lord of Hell, Mephisto, the Trinity God of Magic, Vishanti—all these figures had stakes in Earth's fate.
Even the Celestial Group planted seeds of celestial beings on Earth. But most importantly, Della sought to meet Earth's current Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto.
As one of the Trinity's deities, Agamotto bestowed magic upon humanity and wielded the Time Stone—a valuable ally in Della's quest for uncharted dimensions, as he was originally a Mephista dimension being and extremely powerful.
"Who's there?" the twin gods sensed a spatial shift nearby, like shattered mirrors surrounding them.
"Relax! It's not an enemy!" Della reassured them, recognizing the familiar scene as Earth's Sorcerer Supreme's arrival. Among the few who could face Odin directly, Agamotto was a formidable presence.
Sorcerer Supreme Agamotto's status and combat prowess commanded respect. Even Della wouldn't easily provoke him, especially since this visit had a purpose.
"Prince of Asgard, Della Odinson! I hear you've stayed in Asgard for nearly a thousand years since birth. What brings you to Midgard now?" Agamotto's figure materialized before Della.
"I'm just curious, exploring. No ill will towards Midgard! Besides, I'm not your match," Della replied, eyeing the Time Stone on Agamotto's chest.
Della hadn't encountered the Infinity Stones yet. The Tesseract originally belonged to Asgard, yet Odin hadn't retrieved it.
Gazing at the Time Stone, Della sensed its immense energy.
Time was mysterious and elusive, but with the Time Stone, its secrets could be unlocked.
At least within the universe corresponding to the Time Stone.
"I've observed many timelines with the Time Stone. Your influence on Midgard is profound. Every decision you make shapes its future. Frankly, I'd prefer you limit your contact with Midgard," Agamotto stated, eyeing Della—the infamous Asgardian prince.
Previously overshadowed by his sister Hela, many were unaware of Asgard's great prince.
But two years ago, when Odin and Della confronted the Celestial's end, the prince's power stunned all witnesses.
None expected Asgard had someone nearing the God Father level!
Yet Agamotto had long recognized Della's exceptional nature. He frequently used the Time Stone to observe future events.
Like a detached deity, he monitored Earth's development from a unique perspective, akin to Marvel's Watchers.
Agamotto's meeting with Della was prompted by a future vision. Della would be of great assistance to him.
Moreover, Asgard's eldest prince would grow into an incredibly powerful entity, surpassing even Agamotto's form, Vishanti.
When Agamotto first glimpsed this, he was astounded by the great prince!
