The Rise of the Titan

Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Muria Targeted

Wax demons are handmaidens and servants of the Spider Queen Lolth, loyally serving her in the Abyss and various realms. Their sole purpose is to carry out the commands assigned by their evil goddess.

"How did you find your way here?" Muria looked at the naked wax demon in front of him, a bit surprised. It was interesting that such a creature had found his lair of chromatic dragons and was waiting for him here.

"Titan hybrid Muria, what is it about you? Three legendary dark wizards jointly divined your whereabouts, but not only did they find nothing, they also suffered a backlash and were severely injured. Eventually, five legendary priests blessed by our master collaborated to divine and found these dragons associated with you."

The wax demon, in the form of a seductive drow elf, looked at Muria with a curious expression.

"Divination?" Hearing the reason the wax demon found him, Muria frowned slightly. He always detested mysterious abilities like divination and curses, as he wasn't proficient in them.

Fortunately, these mysterious abilities often couldn't directly affect him and could only indirectly influence him. For example, the drow had divined those related to him and found these lazy dragons, seemingly paying a high price.

Understanding the situation, Muria looked at the naked drow elf with disgust. "Transform back to your true form and show my dragon what he's been sleeping with."

"No." Albert, who had sprung up after the drow admitted to being a wax demon, immediately objected. With a complete dragon heritage, he knew what a wax demon was.

"Ha!" The drow, exuding a strong lustful scent from her prolonged intimacy with Albert, giggled. Then, under Albert's horrified gaze, her body melted like hot wax.

Within seconds, the beautiful drow turned into a foul-smelling, sludge-like creature with eight powerful tentacles extending out and a giant blood-red eye in the middle, rolling around.

"Ugh!" Seeing the true form of the creature he had been with for over half a month, Albert felt a wave of nausea and couldn't help but retch.

Although dragons, when in heat, had a wide mating range that included almost any two-gendered creatures, they didn't mate with just anything.

In the dragon race, those with more exotic tastes might mate with beholders or displacers, but few would be interested in something akin to a slime.

Albert belonged to the relatively normal range of red dragons. At least compared to some of his odd peers, he preferred mating with beautiful humanoid creatures like succubi, pleasure demons, and drow. But he could never accept mating with a wax demon.

"Disgusting creature, I'll kill you." Enraged, Albert transformed into his full-grown red dragon form and spewed out scorching dragon flames.

"Foolish red dragon, do you think you can touch me without waiting for your master?" The wax demon's blood-red eye showed mockery. A thick tentacle lashed out, slicing through the dragon flames and striking Albert's powerful dragon body.

With a loud slap, the large tentacle sent Albert flying into the cave wall, his scales ripped apart, and his molten dragon blood flowed.

"Foolish red dragon!" The wax demon's voice, now harsh and mocking, was no longer seductive but rather aggravating.

"Roar! Lord Muria, help me kill this slime!" Realizing he couldn't defeat the wax demon, Albert immediately called for help.

"Kill me?" The wax demon laughed grotesquely, her harsh laughter coming from nowhere. "I'll kill you first."

Just as the wax demon was about to attack Albert again, brilliant golden lightning burst forth, grand and majestic, striking the foul sludge and evaporating part of the wax demon's body.

"Who gave you the courage to attack my dragon in front of me? Was it Lolth?" Muria's eyes were filled with killing intent. "Too bad she can't save you."

"Gah, gah," the wax demon cackled, even as part of her body was obliterated by Muria's lightning. "Titan hybrid, my purpose is to confirm your location for the followers of my goddess. The moment I saw you, I completed my task. I never intended to leave here alive."

"Confirm my location!" Muria frowned, pointing at the wax demon. "In that case, there's no need to interrogate you. As a twisted creation of a deity, I doubt I'd get much out of you anyway."

A beam of light, a fusion of lightning and fire, burst from Muria's fingertip, shooting towards the wax demon and shattering her mocking blood-red eye. The remaining power enveloped her body, incinerating her.

"Someone powerful is coming." Having touched the barrier of legend and frequently using spatial magic, Muria had begun to grasp some spatial secrets. He sensed the spatial fluctuations and imminent danger.

"Everyone, do not resist." Muria opened the entrance to his demi-plane, and under the astonished gazes of the seven chromatic dragons, he pulled them all inside.

"Broken Horn, let's go." Muria instructed his most powerful demon servant.

"We can fight," Broken Horn replied gruffly, its instincts for slaughter and battle intact despite its chaotic nature being erased.

"Idiot, even at your best, you're only a third-level legend. How many legends can you fight?" Muria replied, half amused and half exasperated. "Right now, at least a third of the legends on this subcontinent want me dead. I've offended too many evil gods."

"Alright!" Hearing Muria's explanation, Broken Horn reluctantly tore the space and escaped with Muria.

Just ten seconds after Broken Horn and Muria left, a drow elf in a priest's robe tore through space and arrived. Seeing the empty volcano, he vented his frustration by flattening Albert's volcano lair, turning it into a lake of magma.
