They felt a slight tremble at the castle walls they we're standing, and seeing the dark clouds covering the sun's, they all decided to turn there heads straight to monoliga forest.

Just coming out of the forest about 750meters away from the main troops a wave of more than 250,000 demons could be seen.

This wave seem to bee armed as some have dark armored chest plates(mostly all of them) , shields, swords and spares, mace and arrows, but there seem to be no sign of mages.

'Those wave we fought no more than an hour ago..... Consists of 5 lines of enemies, stacked in a disordered manner, each line having up to 15000 enemy demons, plus all of that and you'll get 75,000. Up to 30,000 normal tier 1 soldiers, 20,000 tier 2, 15,000 tier 3,with about 10,000 archers tier 1' the king calculated inwardly.

'The next ranking should be tier 4,then rank 2"

The king frowned softly as he took a peak at his army formation

' A wide 'V' formation,first line having up to 100,000 heavy shield wielder or tanks,100,000 spare and spartans(wielders of shield and spare) at the second row with the latter behind the former. 100,000 Heavy weapon wielders like hammer and maces at the third row, with the last row containing the swords men and others with light weapons. Hmmm, am sure they will contain up to third wave.....but the final wave will be a big problem here' the King thought as his eyes narrow slightly.

By now the demons have crossed 550meters and it does not seem like thier stopping.

The king thought of something but was quit skeptical about it.

'If I make the order chances of archer attack hitting target will decrease, especially as we are dealing with tier 4'

But seconds later he made a decision and orders in a deep voice

"Once the enemy crosses 450meters fire but hold on skills"

The 4 legion commanders looked at thier king in confusion, because they naturally don't make that order immediately, still nobody said or asked anything as they have come to understand a long time ago that when the king is angry, he tends to make unexpected moves, but of course not in a bad way.

When the enemies crossed the 450meter mark the archers immediately loaded thier bows, took aim this time with more focus, they shot.

More than 1000 arrows could seen flying like rockets only to be pulled down by gravity which made it rain like bullets to the enemy.

1000 arrows might be considered a lot of arrows, since not to mention the speed and force alone.... You also have take into account of gravity, still compared to the wave of enemies below those arrows, it could only be said as a little number.

When the demons saw the incoming arrows they immediately began blocking, the ones with shield and spare raised thier shield high in preparation for impact.

But the sword users in the first row where not lucky, but they did not panic instead they all charged there sword with 'dark mana energy', seemingly in preparation for a activation of a skill.

A few seconds later, they slashed upwards at thesame time, the more than 50,000 demons of the first row of enemies slashed in a horizontal upward slash into the sky..... Were they arrows we're going to fall.

The slashes flew for 150ft in the air before they began to merge soon the small black lines that could only measure up to 6inchs at most, began to to grow longer in length and go higher in height. Soon it became huge black line that seem to separate the sky in half .

When the arrows arrived at 400meters in distance and approx 290ft in the air, the force the archers used in firing thier arrows finished and it slowly began to descend from the sky as gravity took its own terms.

the arrows, at arriving 200m were suddenly engulfed by dark clouds that kept going until it reach 210 before it disperse in a puff, with it the arrows of more than 600 men was lost.

Not all the arrows we're engulfed though, but unfortunately for the archers of the human kingdom, the arrows were blocked and only the ones with the weakest equipment were killed.

The demons started running shortly after, thier goal was very simple yet farfetched for thier levels, to destroy the formation and enter the city walls.

the demons and humans were separated by only 340meters because they have already crossed up to 160meters after there first attack, and with the activation some skills that distance was being crossed fast.

The king looked at this scene with total indifference, a few seconds later.....

"Archers B, fire normal grade skills with normal grade energy consumption, but those with AOE attacks should not fire, still if you do have " the king ordered in a deep voice.

And that was what marked the end of the second wave of the demon army.

The first archers stepped back and the ones behind them stepped forward and loaded there arrows.

dragging the hamstring, they aimed but did not fire immediately instead they took on hold for a few seconds before something shocking happened.

One of the archers arrow suddenly turn red and soon it caught in fire, and immediately he fired, in the process activating a skill.

But he was not the only one with what could be could magic if that it was performed on earth.

Similar scenes we're happening with archer B group.

Another archer aimed and suddenly his arrow became blue and as frost smoke escaped the arrows outline, with a cold he let go expression.

Some shot fire arrows, some frost arrows, some green like energy, while some ash-gray escaping from the arrow's outline.

A rainbow colored arc was created with the activation of of more that 900 skills for [burning] ,[freezing] , [melting] etc. The reaming 100 are skills that contain [arrow multiplier], [double critical], [double damage]. A clear show that not all are lucky in this world.

The arrows dropped to the ground with a large explosion.

Each arrow has the power to destroy a mansion, entirely made made of iron that can withstand 6 tank cannon fire before falling.

Such things dropping from the sky with speed that a Ferrari car is taking at full speed..... One can try to imagine the destruction it cause in the army of demons.

The demons in the first, second row that also consist of 50,000 demons turned to dust without being able to react after their first attack.

The third rows were sent flying like a kite whose strings has been cut.

This shockwaves we're so strong that even the 4th row of enemies we're effected.

About half percentage of enemies that's 25,000 that we're sent flying died instantly with there skull, internal, and bones all turning to dust of blood and bone dust, intact if were not for the armor they we're wearing that seem to have special attributes then even thier external bodies would have evaporated.

The 4th row of demons were pushed back by the shockwave going from 340meters to 343meters.... Three full meters.

But it did not cause any injuries so after they with stood the shockwave the continued.

The 4th row contains some archers.

The archers B of the human side stepped back, Achers A stepped forward.

They were about to start the process of fire but.....

"Halt!!!"the king ordered

"Your majesty? "clora called in confusion.

"You men should wait, I want the army below us to fight, I have a feeling that you guys will be needed in the next wave.... So take rest while you still can"

"But your-" Erick was about to ask to ask but he stopped mid-sentence.

"You may speak Erick"the king urged him

"But how do you know that they will be a next wave, so far they have never attacked us this way"

"Erick is it not obvious"jack interrupted.

"Forgive me your majesty" the king waved his hand and jack nodded.

"Erick, haven't you noticed, the demons seem to have divided there selves into 5 lines, and each line containing 50,000 enemies. So there will obviously be a third wave maybe even a fourth wave.....for them to be smart enough think of this,it is more than obvious that the are planning something, We just have to be prepared"

Erick eyes widened in surprise as he have only been paying attention to scouting for ambush since the demons have been surprising them in an unpleasant way today. He did not want to be caught while his pants is down so that's why he has been focusing on his surroundings.

Turning his head just in time to see a blue arrow like energy has just been released by a Spear wield and with it penetrated the last demon standing, the demon fell to the ground with a thud and as black pored from his severed waist, with another stab, his skull was pierced and his brain was crushed along with his consciousness. With that, the demon died, turning to dark dust and disappearing to an unknown area.

The king suddenly receive a message from 'the system'

[Congratulation on being the first in this generation making a name for a defence war, "wave" will be used to dispatcher how many enemies are Coming at a time. you have received the following rewards.....]

The king saw a transparent panel that only him could see (thats his own panel) showing him the message.

He thought "yes". Then he looked straight as he was still observing the soldiers then he mumbled under his breath as he saw faint traces of dark fog above the sky in the distance.

"Wave 3 huh, let's see what you've got demons!! " he said as the golden tint in his eyes lit up even more.
