The rise of a legendary warlock

A/N:okay sorry for the delays and the length of this back story but its important, some of my volumes will work under this beginning story so pleas bare with me..... Well we're already close to the main start of this story so don't worry to much.

chap.8..... BEGIN.

Chap. 8: first set, unusual movement of the demons

"prepare for battle"the king said in cold voice.

"Understood"the person on the other side replied.

The king turned his head to look south word, and without a word vanished from his position.

And with the demons 2hours away from there destination that marks the official begin of a medium grade battle.

...

South of the city walls....

The soldiers have been standing, waiting for there enemies to arrive.

At the hallway we're the archers are in the middle directly above the city gates was a man with another man at his left side and another on his right.

The man had his index finger to the entrance of his ear, and the same blue energy that covered the king's index finger also seem to be on his finger as well.

The blue energy did not last more than 45sec as moments later that same energy has faded.

This person that has is hands on his ear,the one in middle was a soldier, but not just any soldier, he was the commander of the whole golden warrior army, only below four people but above all others.

With a handsome highly above average, black eyes, black hair, arched eyebrows, and with well refined muscles, he was handsome to say the list.

Bring all this facts together with his status..... women could only dream of ever being on the same bed as him.

He wore golden armor, golden boots, dark blue gloves, red colored shoulder pads but no cape, and with is two sword on his waist, sheathed, you could say he was a warrior to the bream.

Suddenly a voice that seem to hide arrogance but soft and melodious to listing to said

"Erick what do you think the king is thinking? ". It was the person on his right.

and apparently it was a woman who just spoke.

With fairy red hair, beautiful face that seem to craved by the gods themselves,honey colored eyes, a gorgeous body that can ignite the flames of passion in any man that was not careful... This was a woman in a high class.

She wore red colored magic rubes that did nothing more but to emphasize her already bountiful body, with a staff that had a crystal that can only measure up to a adults fists.

This staff,Despite looking like an ordinary staff, was obviously not normal, and this staff has taking many lives with it.

Erick robon was the name of the person in charge of the command of the warrior class army.

"Hmm, evera .... Why ask me such a question? "Erick asked in confusion.

Clora redrick was the full name of the person on his right, she was the commander legion of the department for mages, she has the affinity for fire, and possess several skills that can allow her to make fire.

He did not answer her, instead he asked her a question.

"Tsk, tsk, I was just asking, don't you think is weird for the king to be giving commands himself"

"I do agree with clora.... It is odd"the one on left finally spoke.

Despite being handsome, with flat eyebrows, eye color that was kneeling more on the brown, with muscles that while not as big or well shaped as Erick, it was not bad either.

His name was jack bidson, and he was the legion commander with the archers.

"It is strange, everything was strange the moment the inscription master purposed that forbidden skill..... But we can only follow orders, am sure the king has his reasons"Erick replyed while looking at the dark fog that is approaching fast in the distance.

"I feel like some surprise is about to begin in this war, let's just wait and see"Erick ended there and proceed to keep quiet.

Jack nods his hands and clora mumble something under her breath, also keeping quiet afterwords.

Approximately 1.4 hours have passed and the dark fog that was approaching was so close that around 5-7 minutes more and the wave of enemies will arrive.

But a unexpected change occurred when the we're around 50kilometer away from the battlefield.

The fog suddenly seem to stop, then 5 seconds later it increased, only 3 seconds later it reduced to an extent that the sky that was covered by dark fog with red outlings could be seen.

But after that the fog continued its course.

"What!"

"What's going on here"

"Did they.... I don't even know what to say"

The soldiers suddenly started talking to each other as they express thier shock.

Thier indifferent expressions was finally broken and now was filled with shock.

At the hallway where the commanders where.....

"What the he*k"

"Hah, another surprise in just one day, I can't be more surprised"

"Some thing is not right here"

Erick, clora, and jack were surprised, this is the first time something so confusing has happened between the war of humans and demons and the other races.

"Indeed, that is odd and my assassins have already returned"

Nobody new how, and when, but at some point another person has appeared right next to Erick.

This guy was handsome, slightly skinny, with blue eyes, brow hair, flat eyebrows.

This guy wore ash-gray colored leather armor, leather booths, a black cape, and two blades on each side of his waist, one on right one on the left.

This guy was andry unknown, nobody knows his full name and only the king does, and of course he was the commander of the assassin group.

He was the last person to complete the main four legions of the golden army, and all the four he was the most mysterious.

"I think we need to inform the king about this"Erick proposed.

But before any could express thier doubt a man in golden with a golden spare at his back walked with calm steps towards the group of four.

All the soldiers he passes by with saluted him with respect.

"Your majesty"

When the king arrived at the group they all saluted in unity while saying

""Your majesty""

The king,Alvon nods his head before giving them the arise sign and looking straight ahead.

The group of four immediately rose thier upper body up before following the king by looking straight.

Erick was about to explain when the king cut him short.

"I saw what happened, you don't need to explain, and also i am taking charge from hear and I also want to update some things in this formation"Alvon said a little fast.

Hearing this Erick nodes but suddenly a doubt formed in his head and he could not help but voice it out.

"If we change position with the down defence then the demons might arrive and attack while mid process are you sure, your majesty "

In all the four, apart certain people, Erick was one of the people the king trusted the most, so he has some certain 'privilege' that the rest don't have.

The king did not turn to look at him, and he did I not speak immediately, it was after a few seconds he said

"I only want to add more archers, so instead of only one archer occupying one slot, it will be two"

Erick nodes, still confuse as to why such a move, but did not ask more question, instead he looks at jack, and jack proceed to pass the message.

Five minutes later archers we're add from 1000 to 2000.

.....

5 five minutes later....

The black fog has arrived to the edge of the forest and finally the soldiers can see them.

With goat like head, horns, small fleshy wings, sharp fangs, long nails, and various weapons on there hands like mace, hammer, spare, sword, arrows etc.

When the demons arrived at the end of the forest and stepped into the plain land that looks like a desert, they only paused to inspect but when they scent humans they immediately started running towards the army with mad and cruel expressions.

The formation the king picked out for the humans beforehand was:shield at front, spare at the second row then,hammers at the third row then finally, sword at last row.

Some with their light weapons like riper, sytch etc will stay at the sword row, while people with mace and other heavy weapons will stay at the third row or hammer row.

When the demons crossed up to 500meter the shields have already lower there weapons :the heavy shield hit the ground with a bang, the archers drew their arrow from the quiver, place it and set it at thier bow ready to fire.

"Normal shots first, assault team a of archers prepare for battle"the king shouted.

when the demons with bow and arrows or archers crossed 350meters from the army, they stop running and draw out the arrows in thier quiver that was located on there back and took aim at the shields before leaving the hamstring

The demons we're not much.

The arrows seem to split the air into two as it whistle as it passes by.

The arrows slammed on the shield with enough power do kill 5 normal humans at the same time, but the soldiers did not even budge 1inch.

When the demons arrived at the 300meters from them to the shield they king made his order immediately.

"FIRE! "

the arrow slipped through their finger and dozens of arrow could be seen raining down on the enemy.

The demons, seeing the rain of metal immediately began looking for shelter, but even then there equipment where weak so as them, and in a matter of seconds the first row of demons we're turn to sieves.

Black blood flowing down there bodies, with some of there parts being open and some of there internal organs could be seen

The second row followed the same fate but the third row managed to survive with but with serious injuries.

"Archers B, switch positions"the king yelled again.

And that's when the 3 legion commanders understood what the king with the only exception being the commander assassin andry, who already understood what the king was doing.

But if they think they understood the king foresight.... Then there gravely mistaken.

The archers that we're behind the archers that shot earlier, suddenly took a step forward and the one on the front immediately stepped down, giving way for the second team to fire.

Just like the first, they loaded there bows, took aim and shot.

The third row of demons that have already suffered serious injuries immediately perished and the fourth row that also contains the demon archers followed the trend.

The demon archer we're among the weakest, so after two round of fire they perished under the assault of the human archers.

The fifth and last row that consist of up to 1500 demons alone, arrived at the shield and slammed there weapons on it, with some slamming there bodies on the shields because of the speed in which they could not stop themselves.

The unfortunate demons to slam there bodies broke thier necks, some all thier bones in thier body, while other, because of the resulting impact, turned there bones to dust, and crushed thier internal organs.

The demons that did break there bones manage to regenerate in a matter of seconds..... A fearsome trait that the demons have.

The ones that destroyed the bones and internal organs, died right there, right then.

The spare wielders at the second row began stab forward with force.

With each stab it sent a demon flying and crushing his companions in the process.

It did not take long for all the demons to perish and the the shields that were once golden gave had dark red splash on it.

"Is that all? " clora asked with mixed emotions like anxiety, disdain.... Emotions that should not attack only one person at a time.

The king reply"no,but its just the beginning."

And indeed as they look ahead they saw more dark fogs approaching at high speed, faster than the first set and if the others we're focused enough they would have noticed that the ground seem to be trembling slightly.

Well sorry, I think I underestimated myself abit..... The chap was longer than I thought it will. But well never mind that. sorry again for all this delay I will try my best to do it quick so we can start the main story.....
