THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Jade disappeared from my site as I moves my gaze toward Edisom he was staring at me weirdly.

"what??"

I asked him.

" you two became good friends."

" ohh Me as Jade.. yeah he is very friendly and funny. I like him...."

I said smiling.

" huh?"

" No..I mean to say that I like him as a friend. Not like that."

"ohh."

But his face was kinda serious.

Is he upset that I took his friend away.

Well he must be jealous because Jade is his best friend.

"now let's go."

I said but he looked at me blankly.

"where??"

He asked.

"someone was going to give me tour of the building. "

" ohh..yeah. i almost forget."

I chuckled at his cute behaviour.

He might be a little serious but I find him cute.

He looks like those cold person type but actually he is a cute person.

Then we started to roam around in the building.

He showed Me his company.

It's an huge company and I know how hard he might have to work to run this company.

We were looking around when my eyes fell On a kid who was running from here and there.

I chuckled looking at them.

"You like kid?"

Edison asked.

" yeah they are so pure and happy. I feel at ease when i look at them. You like kid?"

" huh?..A little..sometime they are very annoying."

" Ohh come on they are not annoying at all. They are so cute. How can you call them annoying?"

Edison stayed silent but then the boy fell and started crying.

I looked him and went to him.

I helped him in getting up.

I rubbed his knee where he got hurt.

" don't worry it's fine. Don't cry."

But that boy kept on crying loudly.

I looked at Edison but he made ' I don't know ' face.

I looked at the boy again and said.

" Please don't cry. Where is your mom?"

" I..d_don't..know."

He cried more loudly.

I tried everything to make him stop crying but instead of stop crying he kept on crying more and more loudly.

I sighed but then suddenly a lady came toward me.

" ohh Pete here you are."

She said looking at the boy.

The boy turned to her and hugged her leg.

" Is that your son?"

I asked.

" yes he is..I am sorry for causing you the trouble he is kinda naughty."

" No no it's okay. "

I looked at the kid and he had stopped crying.

The lady smiled at us and took the kid away.

I sighed and looked Edison who was looking at me.

" You were right sometime they are annoying."

He made a 'I told you' face.

I smiled awkwardly.

" let's continue our tour. Shall we?"

I said and he nodded.

Then we just continued looking around.

Now we are standing on the main gate of the company.

I am leaving so Edison insist to walk with me to my car.

"so okay miss Anna."

" yeah I must leave now."

" yeah..umm..actually. "

He looked like he wanted to say something.

" Do you have anything to say?"

He looked at me and Said.

" Actually I don't have your number. What If I need need contact you about the contract."

"oh yeah why not. Hand me your phone."

He gave me his phone and I typed my number in it and gave him back.

" here is it. Call me anytime you need."

"oh it's nothing..call me whenever you want."

" yeah."

I smiled at him and he slightly smiled back in return.

" okay than i....."

I was cut off in middle sentence when suddenly someone yelled my name.

I look towards at the Direction of the sound and found Jade running toward us.

He approached us and start panting.

:oh...i.. taught..you..leave."

" Jade first take long breaths."

I said start rubbing his back then suddenly Edison spoke.

" Jade what are you doing here in your working hours?"

He said in his strict tone.

"oh it's my lunch break so i just came here to say goodbye to Anna."

" ohh Jade you don't need to."

" No I wanted to see you off and I also wanted to ask you something.:

" what is it?"

He scratches his head and looked down avoiding eye contact.

" Fo you perhaps want to have some coffee tomorrow."

He asked and I smiled at his cuteness.

He is so cute when he is shy but.

" oh sorry Jade but tomorrow i have an very important meating. I can't meet you tomorrow..may be next time. I had love to go on coffee with you."

"oh...it's okay."

I felt bad for declining his offer.

I didn't wanted but I don't have any choice.

But then I got an idea.

" But you can visit my company with Edison tomorrow. "

Jade looked at Edison and Edisonjust had a poker face and then looked towards me.

Then he smiled and nodded.

" okay i will visit you tomorrow."

He said excitedly and give me a bright smile. I also smiled at him.

" okay now i will take my leave."

" yeah sure."

Edison said.

"okay bye."

Jade said.

" Bye see you again. "

I said and sat down inside my car.

Then the driver drove the Car away.

Edison's pov

As Anna left i glared at Jade.

He looked at me making a innocent face.

"what??"

He asked.

"what?"

I asked in return.

"Why are you staring at me like that"

"why did you ask Anna for coffee?"

"why?!! Can't i ask any girl out."

He said shrugging his shoulder I don't know why but that passed me off.

"no you can...but why Anna."

" Why not Anna? what's wrong about her?"

" Their is nothing wrong about Anna but she is my finance."

"oka...wait..what!!?"

He shouted and look towards me.

He asked with the most Shocked expression on his face.

"she is my fiancee."

Jade looked down with disappointment.

He said in low voice anybody can tell that he is very disappointed by his voice.

" why ? don't tell me you started liking her?"

"no...no..it's not like that. I am happy for you"

He said. But his face was saying otherwise.

" But you don't look like you are."

"no no i was just shocked."

" and why was that?"

"It's all because you never told me anything you and Anna dating...and why i am getting to know it know...I am your best friend right then why didn't you tell me? I am hurt you know."

He said placing his hand on his chest acting like he is hurt.

" I didn't got the time to tell you and Its also because it's an arrange marriage."

Jimin immediately look at my face and asked excitedly.

" so she is not marrying you because of love."

I look confused and he somehow right because she doesn't love me and i also don't love her...it is just an arrange marriage.

She is just marrying me because of the company and she just want to move on from her ex boyfriend.

I was lost in my thoughts . suddenly Jade interrupted my thoughts.

" hey!!!"

He said and waved his hand in front of me.

" I asked you something."

" yeah....we don't love each other either we don't even know each other properly."

" Then n why are you getting married?"

" It's just because of the company and her and my father are good friend so they want us to get married."

"oh_okay. But you should have told me before."

But suddenly Jade smiled thinking about something.

"what are you thinking?"

He said while shuttering.

There is surely something wrong with him.

I walked inside the company and was passing when I see that kid again playing around.

I stopped and looked at him.

He was playing and was all concentrated in it.
