THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Edison was sitting on the chair of his cabin and start massaging the temple of his forehead and looked towards Anna.

"Are you not going to ask me who she was?"

He asked.

" let me guess."

She put her hand on her chin and act like she is thinking.

"she is your annoying and irritating ex...you told me about right."

Edison nodded and sighed.

" yes you are right."

"Yeah she was really irritating just now. How did you even end up in a relationship with her."

" well that's a long story and let's not talk about her now."

Edison stood up from the chair and pick a file from the table and handed it to her.

" These are the documents related to the contract. You can check well it's not official yet. It's just a rough. We will sign the contract after the marriage."

"oh yes i will check them and beside that I want to roam around in your company. Can I?"

"yeah why not. Do what you please."

"okay. Thanks."

" Wait let me make a call."

Edison dialed a number on the phone placed on the table and called someone.

Then shortly door open revealing a handsome guy a little taller and had blond hairs with small eyes.

He came straight towards both of them.

" Why did you called me?"

Jade asked Edison.

" Actually she wants your help."

Jade turned toward her.

" Hello I am Jade the manager of the company."

He introduced himself to Anna and gesture for a handshake.

" Hello I am Anna."

" Wait are you the CEO of the ACQUA constructions."

" Well yes I am."

" Wow. It'd an honor to meet you. You look more beautiful in person."

Anna smiled a bit at the compliment and thanked him.

They were still holding the hand of each other.

While Edison was glaring at them.

He noticed their hand which were still contacted.

So he fake coughed to get their attention.

Both of them were completely ignoring them.

Anna and Jade immediately pull their hands and look towards him.

"ohh Edison..."

He was going to say something but Edison interrupted him by saying.

" It's sir for you."

" oh..okay sir."

" you two look close."

Anna said.

Jade looked at her and said.

" Well I am his bestfriend."

He said wrapping his arm around Edison's shoulder.

But Edison yanked his hand away.

Anna smiled and Jade also smiled looking at her.

" your smile is so pretty."

Anna blushed and smiled a little.

"yours too."

" Thankyou for the compliment. I feel so happy to get a compliment from you."

Edison was not liking the way how Jade was flirting with Anna and also how Anna was responding to him.

Well Jade is a master at flirting.

He can make any girl for him by his flirting.

Edison again fake coughed and said.

" If you are done..Jade can you kindly show Miss Anna around the company."

Jade smiled brightly.

"why not it's my pleasure."

:okay you can leave now and Anna if you need anything you can call me."

"okay. Thanks."

" well then we should start."

Jade said.

" yes."

Anna replied.

She looked at Edison and said.

" I will meet you later. Bye."

Edison hummed in reply.

Then she left the cabin with Jade.

' why was she blushing when Jade complimented her? '

Edison thought and again sat on the chair.

He looked at the computer screen blankly.

He couldn't focus on his work.

He shrugged off his thoughts and tried to concentrate on the work.

Meanwhile Jade was showing around Anna the company and was also flirting with her.

Anna was enjoying his company.

He was very Frank around her.

They became good friends in very small time.

Jade is a very friendly person.

He can be good friend with anyone in a very short time all thanks to his optimistic personality.

Jade cracked a joke and both were laughing.

Anna was also laughing.

It's been so long since she laughed like this around someone.

But there was someone who was watching them with some unexplainable emotion in his eyes.

He was somehow angry but when he eyes fall On Anna who was Laughing so brightly.

His eyes turned soft but his face doesn't change at all.

He felt something in his heart.

It was a very small feeling but it was there in his heart.

As they both were laughing Edison decided to interrup them.

He came from behind and stood behind them.

" Anna."

He called but Anna flinched maybe because he was right behind her.

She immediately moved towards Jade.

Her ankle twisted and she lost her balance.

She was about to fall straight on the floor.

She closed her eyes scared of the pain she will feel after touching the floor.

As she was about to touch the floor but then a strong pair of Arm wrapped around her waist and prevented her from falling.

Anna felt like she stopped in the middle of air.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the person who caught her.

She looked upward and see Edison in front of her face.

Edison was staring at her.

Anna sighed in relief.

" Thank god. You saved me."

She said while her arms were wrapped around his shoulder.

Edison made her stand straight and stood straight.

She backed off away and Jafe came toward her

" Are you okay Anna?"

Jade asked worriedly.

He hold her hand to check her.

Edison eyes roamed on their hand.

' I suppose did they become that close in such a short time." Edison's thought

" Jade I am okay thanks to Mr Edison."

' She talk so casually with him '

Again Edison's thought

" Thankyou for saving me."

She said to Edison.

" It's fine. Be careful next time."

" hmm I will."

"btw sir what are you doing here?"

Jade asked Edison.

" I was just walking around."

Edison replied.

Actually Jade came to check on Anna and found Anna and Jade laughing.

He didn't like the way how they both were laughing so he decided to interfere.

"okay then now you can go I will show Anna the other Sides of the building."

" I am free now and i am also bored so you can leave i will show her around."

" But I can.."

Jade wanted to object but.

Edison glared at him and said.

" I said you can leave i will show her around. Don't you understand."

Edison said gritting his teeth.

Jade gulped down and giggled awkwardly.

" Okay if you say so."

Jade pouted sadly as same with Anna. They both were enjoying each other's company.

" Don't worry jade you go i will meet you later."

Jade nodded and was about to leave but something came to his mind and came back to Anna and said

: oh__Anna..ca.n..i have...you..r num..ber."

He asked nervously and Anna laughed at his cuteness.

"cute."

She said and pinched jade's cheek.

Jade blushed a little.

Edison was just watching them all the time.

" yeah Sure why not..give me your phone. I will fill it."

Jade excitetly gave his phone to her and she typed her number.

She gave back his phone.

" contact me when you want okay. I would like to talk to you.:

She smiled Jade also smiled brightly and then jade beed her goodbye and left.

She chuckled looking Jade leaving with a excited smile.

" He is cute. Right."

She said to Edison.

" Why do you think so?"

" huh? Why? Because he looks cute. What's there to their to think about."

" I mean..never mind let move on."

" ohh yes."

Then they continued their company tour.

But Edison had some question taking birth in his mind.
