THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Me and Edison decided to visit amusement park.

We rode almost all the rides.

It was fun.

Edison is not bad.

Actually he is very handsome and

Kind.

I was enjoying his company.

But he is a little cold.

Not like he is rude or somehow but he didn't look like a very outgoing person.

But I like the fact that he came here with me because I was sad.

I can give it a try.

Now i am sitting on bench and he went to bring ice cream for us.

I was waiting for me.

After few minutes he came with two scoops of ice cream in both hands.

He smiled a little at me.

Like he is trying his best to cheer me up.

I also gave him a smile.

Than he sat beside me and handed me one scoop of ice cream.

"umm it very tasty."

I said while eating my ice cream.

" yes it is."

He said and looked towards me.

I looked at him blankly.

" I want to ask you something why you agreed for this marriage. I mean yesterday you were regecting it but today you agreed for it."

He asked carefully.

I know he might want to know what caused this change.

" umm...i want to move on."

"what??"

" I want to move on from my ex boyfriend. I loved him so much but he decided to cheat on me so it broke me

Very badly and i just want to forget about him. So i decided to agree with the marriage and give it a try. I know you just agreed for the sake of my and your company. So don't worry i don't expect anything from you. You can live your life as you want."

I said and my eyes have some tears.

I smiled at him with tears. He nodded.

" I also want to ask a question."₩

"go on."

" Do you have any girlfriend?"

"Why?"

" I was just curious if you have one then you don't need to break up with her because of this marriage. I can simply say no to my father."

I simply said.

I look towards him and waiting for the answer actually i am not concerned but I am just curious about it.

" yeah i had one but she was so annoying and irritating that I broke up with her."

I nodded and said looking into his eyes.

" Edison let's give it a try to our relationship..okay"

" Fine by me."

I just smiled at him and he also return the smile but a small one.

" ohh i want to ask you a very important thing."

Edison looked towards me.

" What is it?"

" As we are going to marry then our companies will also merge. So i wanted to visit your company and you can visit mine."

" yeah i was thinking about it too . You can visit the company tomorrow If that's okay with you."

" And i also want to check the contract."

"okay so i will make the contract ready by tomorrow."

He said i check the time it was already 7'o clock and it was getting dark so i stood up and said.

"okay and i think i should take my leave."

"yes let me give you a ride."

"No need i brought my car and i can drive myself so thankyou."

"okay then."

" Thankyou very much for today. I really enjoyed my time with you."

" It was okay."

I smiled and greet him a good bye and walked away.

I went to my car and sat down inside it then i started the engine and drive off away.

Than i went home and called Jinie and told her everything she just cheered me up .

Then I took a shower and had my dinner.

I lay down on my bed looking at the ceiling.

Edison seem like a good person but still he didn't much talked.

He is kinda a serious person who don't show much emotions.

But he helped my to cheer up.

I am also thankful to him for helping me back there.

I didn't realise when i fell asleep.

Edison's pov

I also went back home.

I took a shower and plopped on the bed.

As I was thinking about something suddenly her face pop up in my mind.

I unconsciously smiled and then had my dinner and i was thinking about the time we spent today.

It's not like I like her but there is something about her which attract me.

It hurted me when she cried.

Why? I don't know.

I fell asleep after sometime.

Next morning....

I woke up and got ready for office i arrived at my office.

I entered in the building everybody started greeted me and i just nodded and went directly to my cabin.

Then i called my secretary and he came in and i asked him to make the contract ready.

After some time he came in with a file and handed it to me.

I thanked him and he went back.

I was reading the contract then i heard a knock at my door.

I looked upward from my file to that person my expression changed into annoyed one.

" Joe what are you doing here?"

I asked angrly.

" baby i missed you.:

She said and ran toward me but I stopped her.

" don't try to come near me. And i clearly told you not to visit me."

"don't. Be like that i want to get back with you."

I just scoffed and said.

" Together? we were never together to start with on first place so leave from here."

" I know you are angry because you just missed me."

I scoffed again.

What she is thinking?

" Missed you my foot. I want you to get out from here....

I heard a knock at my door and my secretary came in and said.

" Excuse me sir Ms Anna is here."

I almost forgot about it

I can't let her wait and it's a good chance to get rid of Joe.

"let her in."

Then the secretary left and Anna came in .

I walked to her and hugged her she was shocked at first but soon relaxed after I whispered in her ear.

"Today you help me please."

Than I pull off from the hug and looked towards Joe and her mouth was slightly open.

"who is she? And how dare she hug my baby?"

She yelled in anger and I rolled my eyes.

What wrong with her?

" She is my soon to be wife and she can hug me and i can hug her too and we don't need your permission right honey."

I said and looked towards Anna she smiled and nodded.

" I don't believe it. You cannot marry anyone beside me. I am the one whom you love."

" That'd your delusion. I never loved me I will ever love you. So just don't piss me off."

" you!! I will not give up. I know this is just a act. You cannot lie to me forever."

" well you will get to know after few days. I don't care what you think."

" you!"

She yelled now she is really getting on my nerves.

"now you can leave Joe i want to have a personal talk with me fiance."

"but-"

"Just leave i said!!"

I yelled and Joe and Anna flinched.

I felt Anna flinch because I was side hugging her this whole time.

Was I too loud?

Did I startled her?

" Fine..I will leave but you will regret it Edison. One day you will come back to me on your knees."

"We will see."

Then Joe angrly left the cabin slamming the door behind.
