THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Anna woke up with a headache.

She rubbed her eyes and then hold her head.

" Uhh my head"

She groaned in pain.

Her eyes were red and puffy due to all crying.

Her skin was pale.

Than she heard a knock on her door. She open the door and there was jinie standing on the door.

" you woke up. Go fresh up and come for breakfast."

" okay...umm thanks."

" for what?"

" For everything you did for me."

" no need to thank me. It's nothing special."

She smiled brightly.

" Now come downstairs and have your breakfast."

Anna just nodded and walk to the bathroom.

She entered inside the shower.

As soon as the cold water touched her bare skin her muscle relaxed.

She closed her eyes feeling relaxed.

But suddenly the image from last night flashed in front of her.

She immediately opened her eyes.

She sighed and closed the tap.

She came out of the washroom and made her way downstairs to the living room.

She looked around and see jinie setting the plates on the table.

" Anna come here and have your breakfast."

"Actually I am not hungry."

Jinie sighed and looked at her.

" i know but you have to eat."

" I don't want to."

" I know you are not feeling okay but you have to eat so come here fast."

" But-"

" come here or otherwise i am also not going to eat anything."

Anna sighed in defeat and sat down on the chair of dinning table.

Jinie just smiled.

She know how to handle Anna.

After all she is her best friend.

She know how to convince her.

"i know you are hurt but you have to take care of yourself."

" I know."

Jinie sighed and looked down on her plate.

They just ate their breakfast in silence.

It was a comforting silence.

"I need to go to the office."

Anna said while walking upstairs .

"what!! You are not going anywhere. And specially in this state no way."

" i know but I can't stay at home i have a company to handle."

" Just don't go today you can go another day."

" no I need to go today."

" but-"

" Jinie understand if I will stay at home i will think more about him. If I go to office it will distract me."

Jinie also thought that it was the best decision for now.

So she agreed and nodded.

" okay and i will arrange your schedule."

Anna nodded and walk inside her room.

She then changed into a formal dress for work.

I got ready for office.

I checked my phone.

I saw many missed call and message from jack.

Message "i am sorry baby'

"Please pick up my phone"

"I can explain it"

"Please give me another chance"

"Please come back to me baby"

I blocked his number and put my phone inside the bag.

What's the use of all this?

I packed my stuffs and got ready for office.

I walked downstairs and saw jinie sitting on couch while scrolling on her phone.

"Jinie let's go"

Jinie looked towards me and gave me a smile.

I also gave her a fainted smile

" you okay?"

She asked and I nodded.

" I am okay."

" well you are looking good."

" you too"

She smiled and we both exit the house.

And we both walk toward the parking lot.

We entered in the car and I was the one driving.

I love driving.

I parked the car and we entered inside the building.

All employees greeted me and i just gave them a fake smile.

Jinie noticed every thing as we entered in the elevator.

Jinie patted my back and said.

" it's okay. You don't have to put that fake smile. I know you are hurt."

" I am but I can't let others know."

Jinie sighed and the elevator door opened.

We both headed toward our cabins.

I entered inside my cabin.

It's been a month since I came here.

I missed my office.

I love my company and work.

I sat down on my chair in my cabin while checking some files.

Than I heard knock at my door.

"Who is it?"

Door opened and jinie came in.

"your father has came."

"please let him in."

"are you okay to meet him?"

"yes i am."

Jinie nodded and went out and then my father entered giving me a bright smile.

"oh dear how are you?"

He came toward me and hugged me tightly.

I hugged him back.

I needed this hug.

It feels so relaxing.

"I am fine dad how are you?"

He pulled back from the hug and said

"i am also fine."

I nodded and gesture him to sit down.

He sat down on the couch while facing me.

"oh sorry dear I was not able to pick you at the Airport."

(A/n: her father don't know anything about her relationship with jack.)

"It's fine appa."

I gave him a fake smile.

" Are you okay?"

" huh? W-what are you talking about?"

" you are looking different. Is there something you want to tell me?"

Ofcourse he is my father.

He would know that something is wrong with me.

But If i tell him. He might be sad.

So let's not tell him.

I faked a smile and said.

" No dad...I am all fine. I am just tired from all the traveling and work."

" then you should had some rest. Why are you here?"

" I am okay now. Don't worry I will take rest after this."

" you better take rest. It's for your health. You must stay healthy."

" okay dad I will."

" well why are you here?"

I said trying to change the topic.

"oh i just forgot the main reason I came here."

"What is it dad?"

" Actually today we have a very special dinner to attend?"

I gave him a confused look.

" Uhh dinner!! with who? Is it related to work?"

" No it isn't related to work so don't worry it's something more important."

" then what is it?"

" I will tell you later but for now please get ready till 8'o clock okay and come to the restaurant"

" o_kay."

Then he stood up and said.

" now i should take my leave.".

" Why? Stay a little longer."

" well i need a important thing to handle so make sure you come to the meeting."

" okay dad."

" okay then I will leave."

" bye I will miss you."

I said and hugged him.

He kissed my forehead and hugged me back.

" bye and take care."

"You too."

Than he left and i sighed and get back to my work.

It's hard to act in front of your father.

I don't like lying to him but I can't let him take any stress.

He is my only family after mom left the world.

I love my father The most.

I signed and get again back to the work.

Work is the only thing that can distract me from my boyfriend. Correction ex-boyfriend...
