The Journey of Akasha

Chapter 65: Three Primordial Beings

When Akasha entered the temple the first thing he noticed was the major difference between the interior and exterior. Outside the temple was old and run down. It was literally the only structure in the middle of a freaking battelfield. It had dried blood on the outside walls that seemed to mix with the coloring of the temples walls.

That was enough to know that the blood had been there so long that it started to mix into the walls natural coloring.

The inside though? It was the exact opposite. The floors inside looked like polished white marbles and there were also white pillars that had golden trimmings that shot from the ground up to the ceiling. It looked as if the inside of this place never missed a day of cleaning.

In the center of the temple were three statues.

One was a man that had a sword connected to his waist.

One was a Dragon that had golden scales.

And the last one was a beautiful female that had long pointy ears.

These statues stood tall and exuded an ancient aura.

Seeing all of this Akasha simply walked forward as if it was any other day. Once he made it in front of the statues they began to rumble.

No, the entire temple began to rumble.

*rumble* *rumble* *rumble*

"Umm, did I do something wrong?" Akasha questioned himself. Seeing the entire place rumbling he began to get a bit on guard. Even though he could negate pressure that didn't mean he was invincible.

After a few seconds the rumbling ceased. The temple regained its tranquility as if it never rumbled to began with. Once everything calmed down the three statues shined for a few seconds before three illusory beings stood in front of each one.

Each one were an depiction of the statue. Well, except for the dragon, in its place stood a burly man that had golden scales and horns.

Seeing this Akasha guessed their identities and he spoke instead of waiting.

"Umm, Hello?" He said rather casually.

Hearing the young man in front of them the three beings were a bit caught off guard. They expected something totally different.

Maybe some shock or fear?

Hell, even some excitement would do!

Seeing that the young man speak so casually the Elven woman spoke.

"Young man, what's your name?" Her voice was sounded so soothing. It felt as if her words could heal the soul.

"Akasha and you?" He replied in the same casual tone. He was speaking as if the four of them were all equals. And he would be right if excluded himself from the equation.

"How arrogant!" The Golden Dragon spoke as his illusory eyes flashed for a second.

"Tsk, come on enough of the bullshit. I only came for the Elven inheritance so can you hurry this up, I kind of have some things to do." Akasha said after scoffing at the Dragon. While internally he was thinking.

'Honestly what the hell is this? I expected to get the damn inheritance and then leave!"

"Haha, kid you're interesting!" The swordsman laughed hearing Akasha's words.

"Indeed, he is. He's even standing under the pressure of this place like it's nothing." The Elf said.

"Tsk, he needs to at least be strong enough before being this arrogant." The Dragon scoffed.

Seeing that he was being ignored Akasha was beginning to become pissed off. He was trying to keep his cool while internally thinking.

'Fuck! I try to be polite and what do I get? Fucking ignored like I'm a ghost or some shit!' He was barely keeping himself in check. He only wanted to make all of this a quick trip, in and out.

'Alright, let's try this again.' He thought before speaking out.

"Ahem! So, what's going on?"

"Eh?" The three beings turned their head towards Akasha. They looked as if they forgot he was even standing there. That would be impossible, right? They were literally having an open conversation about the guy!

"Oh! Hehe we kind of got sidetracked there for a second. Well, to introduce us simply, we three are beings from the Primordial times." The Elven Lady spoke before continuing

"I am Nymeria a Primordial High Elf. The Dragon is Gildarion a Primordial Golden Dragon, and the swordsman is Set a Primordial Human." She said as she introduced the three of them.

Akasha nodded his head hearing this before saying

"Now what? Do I get the inheritance now?"

"Haha, I like this kid!" Set said while laughing out again.

"Yes, you can receive the inheritance of your choosing, but first we must inform you of something." Nymeria said before she continued.

"We are in need of a Champion. We are looking to nurture a rising genius of this Galaxy in order to help us in a future battle." She said simply

"Tsk, I should've known some type of bullshit was coming." Akasha said while facepalming.

"Eh? What do y-" Nymeria was speaking before Akasha interrupted her.

"Excuse me for interrupting you, but could you give me a few seconds? Thank you." Akasha said as he put on a contemplative look while talking to Luna and Elysia.

'What do you guys think? Should I hear them out or nah?'

Seeing that Akasha looked to be thinking about the proposition Nymeria chose not to interrupt and let him think.

'Well, I think becoming their champion would be a waste of time since it won't be much, they could offer you personally. But helping them out might be fun for you.' Elysia said as she was in The Sanctuary laying down in the field next to Luna.

In front of them was a huge projection screen and on it was Akasha. Whenever the two were alone they would watch Akasha's journey like it was a tv show.

'Yea that's what I thought too. Knowing how things normally go, this so-called battle is probably a thousand years away.' Akasha replied to Elysia

[I think instead of becoming their champion you should just ask for resources. Things like herbs, minerals, and even array/formations. Even though you have yet to use any of these things, you will come to need them if you plan on starting your own force.

After you get out and explore more you will find more ways to get these things, but some items just can't be found in lower dimensions. And on the bright side you get to have some fun.] Luna said adding her input.

'Lower dimension? You know what, fuck it. There's too much I need to focus on right now we will talk about that later.' Akasha said replying to Luna.

He then looked back towards the three beings who were casually waiting. The conversation with Luna and Elysia only took a few seconds so not much time passed at all. He turned and looked at Nymeria and said

"I accept, but...
