Chapter 64: Old Man (2)
The sound of the loud clang caught the attention of everyone close enough to the temple. Looking in the direction of the sound they saw Akasha facing off against Orin. When Akasha disappeared he appeared in front of Orin and casually punched out. He didn't punch with any real intent which gave Orin the time to block with his sword.
"Seriously, what the hell is he made of?" Jovian asked from the side.
Nobody responded to his question, but that didn't mean they weren't thinking the same thing. A clash between a fist and a sword made a sound as if two swordsmen were clashing. That was simply absurd.
Akasha pulled his fist back and made some distance. He then looked at Orin with a smile and said
"Haha, at least you were able to block! It truly pains me that I won't be able to enjoy this battle." As he said this he shook his head while face palming.
Hearing this Orin gaze hardened before speaking
"A mere Early Ultimate Core thinks I'm easy picking?" When he said this, he gripped his sword tighter and shifted his stance. But before he could make any further moves, he heard the voice of Akasha once again.
"Yea this is truly painful. Well, fuck it."
Origin Vampire Transformation
Law of Eternal Blood - Blood Sovereign
Immediately after he said this the air off the battlefield shifted. The pressure all around became so heavy that those in the immediate area were all pressed to the ground. Luckily for those watching, Akasha only targeted Orin and the other Humans.
The Humans who had stood up behind Orin after the first initial clash were now all kneeling with their heads pressed to the ground. Orin was in much better condition though since he was already on guard. But he still felt it hard to move, it was if his own blood was restricting his movements.
As Akasha completed his transformation not much changed. His ears became slightly more pointed, and his hair now had blood red streaks instead of silver. In this form he felt as if all blood was an extension to him.
When he activated this transformation, he also activated an ability powered by his law. The 'Blood Sovereign' ability was the ability he got from Raven. This ability essential made the user the 'God' of blood as long as it was active.
The moment he activated it he used the power of blood to paralyze Orin's movement. Looking at the Prince of Humans unable to move Akasha grin slightly. When he grinned his fangs showed slightly and this sent shivers down Orin's spine.
'Shit! How could I be so defenseless!!' Orin thought as he knew he was completely helpless right now. He couldn't even move his lips to speak so, thinking of a counter seemed futile.
"Haha, as I said before, it truly pains me that I won't be able to enjoy our battle. But fret not, I won't kill you. You see, although, I don't mind having trouble but killing you would really make my future plans a bit tough." Akasha spoke as he slowly floated towards Orin.
When he made it in front of Orin he smiled and patted his shoulder.
"We will surely have the opportunity again to have a true battle." After he said that he activated another ability
Charm
[A/N: In this story Charm could be used in more ways than just picking up women. In this case it was used as compulsion.]
{Go to sleep for a while buddy~} He said in a voice that carried a hint of authority. And the moment these words hit Orin's ears he fell unconscious.
With this done Akasha deactivated his transformation and then disappeared from his spot. He reappeared with his group and the old man. He looked at the old man and said
"Now what?"
*silence*
The old man simply looked at Akasha as if he wanted to know the secrets he was hiding. What just happened was something that should've been nearly impossible. Now, it wasn't rare to find someone who could battle above their ranks. You couldn't be considered a true genius if you couldn't do that much.
But making someone a rank higher than you are totally helpless without even having to land a strike is what surprised the old man.
And not just the old man, everyone who watched the 'fight' was stunned.
Yonna Blaze who was watching the entire thing from the side was internally trying to make sense of it all. But the only thing she could ask herself was
'How?'
Crystalyn was just as stunned. Since the beginning she never paid attention to anyone other than Elara. When Elara first arrived she felt as if her bloodline was being surpressed, which should be impossible. She was one of the princess of the entire Dragon race.
The only people to have a bloodline as pure as hers were her siblings. And only the Dragon Emperor and Empress had bloodlines that could make her feel suppression. So, when she felt it from someone as young as her she decided to proceed with caution.
But seeing Akasha being possibly as strong as Elara she was now interested even more.
'Both of them are freaks.' She thought to herself
Meanwhile Akasha's group members simply shook their heads. While Elara and Raven moved in to hug him while they spoke
"Hehe, that was too easy dear~" Raven said
"Yea, you didn't even have to lift a finger. Literally Hehe." Elara added on.
"What a monster. Next time save some fun for me at least." Jovian said. Lyria simply shook her head as she was now becoming use to all of the nonsense.
After taking a moment the Old man spoke
"Well, now you can enter the temple. The reason I advised you to wait for three weeks is because the pressure inside is too great. It's enough to crush you into a mist of blood. So, you can enter but I will once again advise you to wait with others."
"Haha is that all?" Akasha laughed once he heard the old man. Just some pressure? He was someone who had an ability that literally negated pressure.
This was simply too easy.
Akasha turned to his group and said
"Give me a moment I will go in and get the inheritance for Lyria. After that we can find a way to leave this realm because there are much more important things to handle." He said the last part looking at Raven and Elara specifically.
Hearing Akasha the others nodded and then he turned to enter the temple.
