The Diary Of A Queer Warlock

Chapter 7: Repelling Devil Ghost

Adrian dangled like a trapped rat hanging upside down. He still couldn't believe that the little pixie that wasn't up to his calf could get him so close to death.

It was still unclear to Adrian how the pixie with equal power level as himself could get him so easily captured. He felt outsmarted by the pixie's wiles and he couldn't believe he was caught.

This blue pixie was anything but fun, just a blue mess with hellish wings. Adrian cringed at the thought that someone could keep the pixie as a pet. The pixie itself always had a cruel and wicked smile that could gloom a person's mind.

Adrian could only curse his unfortunate existence for attracting all these bad luck.

On the other hand, Jasper was entangled in the fight with the Devil Ghost.

The purple sword in his grasp fluctuated fiercely as he faced the Devil Ghost. The other party grinned maliciously.

He had already split himself into innumerable clones that surrounded Jasper in an airtight manner. From time to time, the clones would exhale ink in gaseous form through their mouths.

The gaseous ink would congeal and obstruct Jasper's vision from seeing clearly. However, his cold eyes quietly and carefully sought a flaw inside of Devil Ghost's seemingly perfect cloning formation.

"Laws of Fire!" Jasper muttered gently as his body exuded a fiery red glow. His eyes turned red and so did his hair.

The purple sword in his grasp fluctuated violently as he lashed out an arc in the Devil Ghost's clones formation. A strong heat wave burned from the casual move, completely eliminating the traces of life in the clones which were burned to nothingness.

Jasper could not yet identify the actual Devil Ghost as the bastard was protected beforehand by his master's spell. But, he knew that with each of Devil Ghost's clone dead, his power would drop by more than one percent.

"Laws of Lightning!" Jasper's voice thundered. A strong field of lightning burst out with Jasper at the centre.

A lot of his runes were crushed in the process but they only served to boost his power even more.

The thunder field became far more violent and even the little sparks that escaped, pulverised the clones they came in contact with.

By the time the thunder field covered the entire formation of clones, all of them had been evaporated, leaving only the Devil Ghost who fell numbly to the ground.

Even after his pathetic fall, the Devil Ghost's body kept on twitching as someone who had just gotten electrocuted. Next, Jasper's figure reappeared in front of Devil Ghost. His purple sword pointed against Devil Ghost's neck in a dramatic way.

As soon as Devil Ghost's consciousness returned, he felt a chill rush down his spine. This was because of the purple sword's seal of enchantment placed on him. It was such a difficult means that the Devil Ghost felt no different from a mortal.

He raised up his hands to show he had surrendered while Jasper's lips curled into a cold smile.

"Take your pet out of here and never set foot in my castle again. I can swear that if you do, you'll die as soon as you even think of it, that's my present for you" Jasper sneered.

On the other hand, Blue, the pixie was still enjoying the sinister game it created with Adrian its pitiful test object. Adrian had swellings and bloodstains on nearly every part of his body that were not highly sensitive.

The swellings came as a result of the blue pixie using its string like threads to continuously whip against his skin.

Each whip would transmit the pain directly to Adrian's brain so instead of feeling pain on the targeted spot, his head would suffer the brunt. This was wild to imagine, considering that it was repeated in seconds so Adrian almost couldn't bear the pain.

Thankfully enough, he had already put on Jasper's servant uniform. This was the sole reason why he was able to survive till this point. A majority of the pain was absorbed before his brain got affected. Sadly, Adrian couldn't even cry out to vent how pained he was feeling.

But there were traces of tears deep in his eyes, he only welled them up. He could easily win the award of the most tormented teenager in the Solarian Universe based on this experience alone.

Next, a black presence like a cloak materialized in the passage. Along with it was Jasper who was floating midair. On seeing Jasper, the blue pixie that had initially been wild and unruly immediately shrunk in. It appeared so terrified that it began crying strangely and used its wings to cover its eyes.

There was a strong halo of rainbow surrounding Jasper that only the pixie could sense and it felt very threatened by it. Also, as it was the pet of Devil Ghost, it had definitely encountered Jasper once or twice in the past, hence, it explained why it would be so terrified.

"Blue, we have to get going now" Devil Ghost assumed his humanoid form and sucked the blue pixie into his palm before it could process things.

Next, he tore the air open and disappeared through a dark portal.

Adrian looked on in confusion after seeing the Devil Ghost open a dimensional portal and walk out of it. Also, he took the blue pixie that tormented him a while ago along with him.

Who was that? What were they doing in the castle at midnight?

Adrian felt that the world of a magic lord was too unusual. He had a lot of troubling questions which he feared might not have answers anytime soon.

"Little Warlock, follow me, we have a need to talk" Jasper said while backing Adrian.

His fingers snapped as he spoke, causing a strange force to snap the pixie's threads off, hence, setting Adrian free.

However, Adrian felt the force go all over his body inside out. It approached his vocal cord and snapped the muting spell apart.

He couldn't believe it, this pervert was finally letting him speak!
