Chapter 428: A short story to everyone about "The adventure of a couple in a world of Darkness and Light." Part I (Beginning)
"She's still alive," Geminia replied briefly, meeting everyone's gaze.
For a moment, pity for the Queen flashed across everyone's faces, but it quickly disappeared when they remembered what had happened to Ned and what actions she had committed against Idan and Arabel.
"Okay, next time I'll bring Bera with me," Arabel nodded.
Idan continued his story, completing the first part of the story about the appearance of Erza, the abduction of the awakened and their arrival in Limbo after a short rest. There, Arabel mastered the Spirit Form, and they asked Geminia to provide them with a time room to acquire second bloodlines.
"And then you went to the world of Darkness and Light?" asked Milica, now fully understanding how events unfolded.
"Yes," Idan and Arabel nodded in unison.
"Well, now the fun begins," Eulalia said with noticeable anticipation. Idan and Arabel, watching the others, saw that they, too, were eager to learn about the other world.
The story of their journey into the world of Darkness and Light began from the moment they appeared inside an abandoned building and were subsequently discovered. Then followed a meeting with Erza, which turned out to be a trap. Idan and Arabel, realizing this, decided to play along with her, falling into a trap.
They spent two days preparing to escape, finding a way to improve their spatial storage with the resources obtained by Eulalia, and with the help of something else. And it was this achievement that helped them successfully rescue the abducted awakened ones.
The couple also shared their knowledge about the world of Darkness, which they acquired during their stay there. They talked about other territories and about several sixth-rank beings, the most powerful in this world.
Sierra listened with interest to the many creatures of Darkness, but when she found out that there were only creatures of the sixth rank, her interest waned a little.
Idan and Arabel saw that each of them had a lot of questions, but no one dared to ask them, so as not to slow down the pace of their story.
After two days of imprisonment, Idan and Arabel decided to act. They took advantage of the party at Erza's mansion and the appearance of the heir of the Dark Beast Territory to carry out their plan.
When Idan shared that they had kidnapped the heir of the Dark Beast Territory and what Arabel had done to him, everyone except Sierra stared at Arabel in disbelief. She lowered her head, embarrassed.
Sierra, who was taking a sip of her favorite drink, nearly choked on it. And then she burst out laughing.
"Well, you're just something, little sister!" she exclaimed.
"I like your approach," she added, further embarrassing Arabel.
Idan couldn't help but mention the exploits of their little fox cub, who, starting out as an ordinary photographer and scout, turned into a real thief who emptied the treasures of these dark creatures.
Everyone remembered this secretive and cute fox cub well, who always followed the couple. They were pleasantly surprised by the contribution the little fox had made, and they all agreed that it was an excellent plan. This also explained why the couple had so many mana crystals and darkness element crystals when they were packing up their belongings scattered around the Temple.
Idan, observing the chronology of events, told how they had saved Milena, over whom Erza had performed a certain ritual. Along the way, Idan abducted the boy, and after that they met with the boy's older sister. During this meeting, they learned about the existence of another world called Chronomaria, and about the secret hidden in their bloodline related to the element of time.
This was followed by a meeting with an old acquaintance, who, as it turned out, was one of the traitors. This was followed by an escape from the city, during which Ned, remaining in the Trading House, caused a ruckus, followed by a massacre of slaves.
Arabel noticed that, unlike her, the others did not express a violent reaction to Ned's actions. It didn't seem like it was anything special to them.
"After we left the city, following Coco's instructions, Belle, Ned, and I went in search of a portal to leave this world with the saved awakened ones," Idan continued, completing the story of the events that took place in the city and moving on to what happened in the Dark Valley.
Idan continued his story from the moment when they decided to split in three directions in order to embrace all three portals through which they could leave the world of Darkness and Light.
Then he talked about his encounter with another creature of Darkness from the Womskinner race, equal in strength to that Erza. During their conversation, he made a deal: in exchange for information and a promise not to interfere, he agreed to hand over the heir to the Territory of the Dark Beasts.
As soon as Idan finished his part of the story, Arabel spoke, who told about her rescue of 23 more awakened ones. During which she first encountered ten Platinum-ranked creatures, and then a Diamond-ranked creature. Although Arabel almost lost, she managed to escape, severely wounding her opponent.
Arabel's confession startled everyone without exception. Everyone was aware that Arabel was currently only gold-ranked, but even the realization that the pair had abilities that allowed them to overcome the difference between ranks and fight strong creatures did not prepare them for this revelation.
Arabel quietly lowered her head when Idan reached the point in his story where he described the method they used to get the heir back.
"Please, please, let the heir become a woman only for a while, and not share the fate of the Hero," she prayed to herself, remembering how she had deceived the heir and prepared him for the same ordeal that the Hero had experienced.
When he finished telling them about the events on their side, Idan sighed and told them about what Ned had done, which, in fact, became the catalyst that determined the outcome of their entire journey.
Geminia just shook her head, slightly disappointed, but not condemning her descendant's act.
"Thanks to the information we received from Tamisra, we immediately headed for the western portal, realizing that the Queen was following us. In the end, we managed to escape her grasp by using our Spirit Forms," Idan concluded, summing up their adventures in the Dark Valley.
After a short break, Idan began to talk about the final part of their adventure.
