Chapter 605: Chapter 607: The Angel Collaborating with a Demon

"What is going on?!" Constantine stared wide-eyed at Angela, unable to comprehend the transformation happening before him. When he first saw Angela, Constantine thought of her as a medium, like her sister, and assumed that the mysterious being in Hell wanted to use Angela as a vessel to descend into the earthly dimension.

Although it was rare for women to be used as vessels, Constantine speculated that Angela and her sister might possess some unique secrets that caught the attention of a powerful entity from the Hell dimension.

However, as he witnessed the unification of light and darkness within Angela, Constantine was completely baffled. Despite his vast experience, he couldn't understand what was happening to Angela, nor could he comprehend why the forces of light and darkness weren't clashing.

Constantine even began to suspect that the holy light he released using the residual power from the chains was part of someone's plan. Otherwise, why did Angela absorb all the holy light right after its appearance?

Just then, a sudden realization struck Constantine, and he decided to stop speculating and focus on saving Angela. He quickly began to draw power from various dimensions, attempting to forcefully reverse the changes happening to Angela.

However, as Constantine was trying to save Angela, an overwhelming force suddenly sent him flying, crashing him into the wall, leaving him barely conscious.

Meanwhile, Angela's transformation continued as her abdomen began to swell, as if something was struggling to emerge.

"What the hell?! They don't even want a vessel? Are they trying to directly descend?" Constantine was shocked. "But why would Angela be able to give birth to a demon from Hell? And why aren't the holy powers stopping this?"

Just as Constantine was struggling to understand, Angela, with a serene smile, suddenly slit her own abdomen with a dagger.

In that moment, the entire Earth underwent a shocking transformation. The line drawn by the dagger across Angela's abdomen divided light and darkness—holy light to the upper left and sinful darkness to the lower right.

Emerging from Angela's body was a ghastly, skeletal creature, while the dagger's hilt emitted a holy radiance, with white feathers floating from the void.

"Finally found it!" In a deserted street, Robert and Diana appeared, followed by Baron Mordo and other members of Kamar-Taj. Robert's eyes lit up as he spoke gravely.

After Constantine left with the Hell Baron, the Guardian quickly contacted Robert, as he had lost contact with Constantine and couldn't even sense his location.

Realizing something had happened, the Guardian reached out to Robert to help locate and save Constantine. Despite their efforts, Robert and Diana couldn't find Constantine until the global phenomenon occurred, allowing Robert to finally lock onto his location.

"An angel has descended? This is Gabriel's holy light?!" Meanwhile, in a distant Vatican, the Pope, with a weary expression, stood up, looking at the boundary of light and darkness. "He didn't contact me. Is he suspicious of me now? This won't do! Even if he's an angel, he can't be allowed to act recklessly, especially at such a critical time with these changes in the Earth's dimension!"

"Earth... I've finally come to Earth..." As the strange phenomena on Earth caught global attention, two different voices near Angela spoke the same words, filled with emotion.

The next moment, a tall, serene-looking angel appeared in mid-air, while below, a short, sinister-looking demon stretched its body. It was they who had spoken.

"Mammon, long time no see," Gabriel nodded at Mammon.

"Gabriel, let's work together happily!" Mammon said with a wicked smile, probing, "So, what are you planning next?"

"Naturally, I will do what I must!" Gabriel's eyes gleamed. "I want to see if these humans are still as devout in their faith as they once were!"

"And the Shadow Hunters lineage still exists. What happened during Rachel's descent? Who destroyed the Loom of Fate? These are questions I must resolve!"

"And remember, if this affects your subordinates, don't blame me for being ruthless, Mammon..."

"Don't worry, my people aren't foolish enough to provoke those from Heaven. The only Heavenly method we've dealt with is Jesus' chain. That gambler over there probably still doesn't know what's happening!" Mammon said, glancing mockingly at the shocked Constantine.

"What did you say?!" Constantine's eyes widened, confirming his suspicions about the angel-demon alliance plotting against Earth. This revelation was shocking, as it meant that the supposedly opposing powers of Heaven and Hell could collaborate if they chose to.

"Originally, our descent wouldn't have been easy, but Gabriel provided a method that just needed a little extra. Your chain filled that gap, which is why you could track us here. Did you think it was your mediocre space magic?" Mammon taunted, seeing Constantine's shocked expression.

"Many in Hell regard you, Constantine, as a clever person and a shameless scoundrel who has conned numerous powers and contracts. But now it seems you're overrated!"

"You can have him. I need to attend to my own matters!" Gabriel dismissed Mammon's taunts at Constantine, and just as she was about to leave, a large fist struck her face, fast enough that she could only dodge without counterattacking.

In that instant, Gabriel felt a surge of anger but found herself cornered by a sword awaiting her dodge, forcing her to rush into the punch, hoping to counterattack her assailant.

With a thud, Gabriel was struck, a strange force flowing into her, momentarily stiffening her body and disrupting her attack, sending her crashing back to the ground.

"What?! Who are you?!" Mammon, who was about to continue taunting Constantine, was alarmed as he looked toward the source of the attack on Gabriel.

At that moment, both Mammon and Gabriel, who had just landed, felt a surge of danger, barely evading another attack. Mammon was sent flying again, while Gabriel had a portion of her wing sliced off, staining the white feathers with blood.

"That's unfortunate..." Diana appeared across from Gabriel, looking at the relatively minor injury with regret.

"There's nothing unfortunate about it. We just have to keep fighting. No matter how strong they are, I can handle one. I wonder if you can, Diana..." Robert, now in his Giant Ape Rage form, stood beside Diana, brimming with fighting spirit.

"Don't underestimate them. They are not weaker than I am and won't hold back like I do. It's still too difficult for you to take down one alone unless you can transform into your form against Frigga..." Diana said, her expression serious.

"Let's fight and see! Without pressure, how can I transform into that state?" Robert charged at Mammon, his battle intent high.

"Then let's fight!" Diana's eyes lost their worry, replaced by a fighting spirit. Facing these two formidable foes, Diana, who had just broken through, had to give her all.

"Do you think you can face me with your feeble punches? Do you think you could have hurt me without a sneak attack? Get lost!" Mammon roared, clearly angered by Robert's earlier attack. Mammon swung his fist at Robert's chest, aiming to knock him back and let him taste the loss of control.

But next moment, Mammon's fist collided with Robert's arm, bending it slightly but failing to push Robert back. Robert grabbed Mammon's arm, pulling him in for a headbutt, sending Mammon flying again.

"What the...?" Mammon was momentarily dazed. He could sense that Robert's power was inferior to his own, yet he couldn't send Robert flying, while Robert could do so to him. This realization was unacceptable to Mammon.

As Mammon regained his senses, facing Robert's continued assault, a flash of anger crossed his eyes. He unleashed his full power, but Robert, undeterred, pressed on with his attack.

However, this time, Mammon fought back with full force, and in their first real clash, Robert sustained a wound, marking the beginning of a fierce battle.

"An Amazon? An Olympian demigod? Are you trying to start a war between Olympus and Heaven?!" Gabriel, wary of Diana's divine aura, questioned sternly.
