Superman's Saiyan little brother

After listening to Jarvis, Peter Parker glanced at the giant spider and dodged its attack once more. He knew that in his current state, he couldn't fight the giant spider head-on and decided it was best to retreat for now.

However, Peter Parker had no intention of asking Tony Stark and the others for help. He planned to deal with Richard Parker's matter himself once he had recovered from his injuries.

Although Richard Parker had just revealed his intentions, it was clear that his spider research had not yet reached the stage where he could achieve his goals. Richard Parker had mentioned that Peter Parker's abilities still had some flaws, indicating that further research was needed.

Therefore, Peter Parker wanted to handle this matter on his own. After all, Richard Parker's issues currently only involved Peter Parker and the Osborn family. He didn't want too many people to know about these things.

Just as Harry Osborn didn't want many people to know that Norman Osborn was the Green Goblin, this matter was still in the realm of family secrets that shouldn't be exposed...

"Zzz!" With this in mind, Peter Parker released a large amount of electricity from his wrist. Spiders and thunder filled the subway station, forming a barrier. Without looking back, he fled along the path he had come from.

"How did he do it?" Richard Parker, standing beside the giant spider, looked at the thunder spider web with curiosity. He could tell that the thunder power and the spider web were integrated, not pieced together externally.

In other words, within Peter Parker's body, the thunder energy and spider silk were part of his strength. This was something Richard Parker couldn't understand. He didn't get why Peter Parker could harness this thunder power—could it be further mutation?

"Hiss!" The giant spider hissed at Richard Parker, seemingly communicating something and looking somewhat dissatisfied.

"Shut up! Where am I supposed to get you food? Those homeless people have been killed by that shadowy figure. Before, we could still scavenge a few sleeping people, but now those shadows eat even the sleepers. Where do you expect me to find food for you?" Richard Parker glared at the giant spider.

"If you were useful and could catch those shadows for me to study, finding food for you wouldn't be a problem. But now there aren't many people around here. Where do you expect me to get food?"

Indeed, Richard Parker had encountered the shadow soldiers before, but with the giant spider, he wasn't in any danger. He even tried to capture a shadow soldier for research.

However, Richard Parker failed. The shadow soldiers either got killed or escaped, making them harder to capture than dimensional demons.

"Hiss!" Hearing Richard Parker's words, the giant spider didn't stop and continued making strange noises, looking as if it would act if it didn't get food.

"Buzz!" But then, Richard Parker smiled, his eyes changing slightly as he stared at the giant spider. Under his gaze, the giant spider gradually lay down, fear flickering in its complex eyes.

"Humph! Go back!" Richard Parker snorted disdainfully, turning his attention back to the thunder spider web, curious about how his son embedded such thunder power into his DNA.

"Jarvis, monitor the area. Once I've recovered, I'll come back to handle this!" Meanwhile, Peter Parker headed quickly towards the healing pod after leaving.

During his brief encounter with the giant spider, Peter Parker's injuries worsened. His previous injuries hadn't fully healed, and this time, he decided to let his injuries heal completely before confronting Richard Parker.

"Yes, Spider-Man," Jarvis responded. He had already informed Tony Stark about the situation, but Tony was busy dealing with the increasing number of shadow soldiers and hadn't had time to reply. Jarvis relayed Peter Parker's plan to Tony, though he wasn't sure if Tony would really stay out of it.

Simultaneously, in an abandoned area, Robert appeared, carefully searching for Tohru based on previous indications.

During this process, no one disturbed Robert. Despite the increasing and strengthening shadow soldiers, no one interrupted him.

Robert wasn't in a hurry. He was focused on finding Tohru, maintaining a calm and steady mindset, essential for detecting any spatial anomalies.

Clark had considered asking the Ancient One for help in finding Tohru, but since Tohru and the masks were Earthly matters, the brainwashed mask wasn't considered a dimensional issue, and the Ancient One wouldn't intervene easily.

"Hmm? A familiar aura?" While Robert was searching in the abandoned area, his eyes suddenly brightened, and he said in surprise, "Not Tohru? Dragon? Jade? Uncle?"

With no one else likely to visit, Robert initially thought he had found Tohru. However, it turned out to be Dragon and his family.

"Why are they here? They were far away from here!" Robert muttered in confusion. He was here due to subtle clues pointing to this abandoned area. "Are Dragon and his family also looking for Tohru?"

Robert looked towards the source of the familiar aura, his ears twitching as a familiar voice and incantation reached him: "Demon spirits, leave, demon spirits, leave..."

"...!" Robert fell silent, feeling fortunate that his unique ki from the Dragon Ball world allowed him to avoid using such incantations. Otherwise, he might also be holding a gecko and chanting.

"It seems I didn't find the wrong place. I just didn't expect them to be here looking for Tohru..." Robert was momentarily emotional. While Dragon and his family weren't very strong, they had a strong sense of justice and showed no fear facing the shadow soldiers.

"Uncle, have you found the source of the shadows yet? Are we just going in circles? My Iron Fist is itching!" On the other side, Jade's arm flashed with dragon-shaped golden light as she spoke, her excitement turning to frustration.

Initially, Jade was excited because she had been attending school diligently, but the shadow soldiers suddenly appeared.

Jade fought some shadow soldiers, and Dragon protected the area around the old shop. However, they realized that merely defending was ineffective as the shadow soldiers kept coming.

Uncle consulted records and identified the shadow soldiers as shadow legion members, finding a method to track the shadow masks, leading them here, coinciding with Robert's target, proving Tohru was in this abandoned area.

The frustration came from the lengthy search, with many fruitless attempts...

"Swish!" Robert appeared beside Dragon, who instinctively threw a punch.

"Slap!" Robert shook his head, blocking Dragon's punch, and smiled, "It's me."

"Ah?! Robert? What are you doing here?" Dragon quickly retracted his punch, not worrying about injuring Robert, knowing he wasn't strong enough to harm him.

"If I'm correct, our goals are the same. We're both here to find Tohru, the mask's owner." Robert nodded to Jade and Uncle, explaining softly.

"Hmm? Tohru? The red-haired guy we met before? He got the mask? Is the mask controlling him?" Dragon asked in surprise, having no ill feelings towards Tohru despite their past conflicts, suspecting Tohru was controlled by the mask, causing the shadow soldiers to appear.

"Probably not. Tohru is very cautious. If he were controlled, he wouldn't act this way. Moreover, his strength has significantly increased, making it possible to resist the mask's control..." Robert shook his head gently, explaining.

"I sensed Tohru hiding in this abandoned area, but he's in a dark space, and I haven't pinpointed his exact location to flush him out."

"In the dark space? That's why we've been circling without finding him! I can pinpoint his location!" Uncle's eyes brightened, his gecko rotating and pointing to a nearby abandoned building.

"Huh! I knew you were circling, Uncle!" Jade immediately seized on Uncle's admission, shouting loudly.

"Let me check..." Robert chuckled, shaking his head, and looked at the abandoned building, releasing his sensing powers to investigate. Finally, he detected a dark fluctuation in a corner behind a toilet in the restroom.

"Damn..." Even Robert couldn't help but curse. He had to admit Tohru's extreme caution, which effectively concealed him.

"Step back; I'll force him out!" Robert took a deep breath, suppressing his curse, and contacted Clark and Kara to come and back him up.

Given Tohru's extreme caution, Robert had to be cautious. Who knew if Tohru had a trap waiting for those who discovered him?

As for why Dragon's family didn't back him up, it was because their strength was insufficient. Uncle was too old for intense combat, suitable for support against barely superhuman opponents. Against stronger foes, he'd need various aids, which weren't easy to find.

Dragon and Jade, despite their Iron Fist and dragon powers, could handle shadow soldiers but weren't strong enough for a powered-up Tohru. If Tohru used a significant move to escape, they couldn't stop him...

"Swish! Swish!" Soon, Clark arrived first, with Kara close behind. Tony Stark and the others were informed but might arrive too late.

"Take positions; I'm starting!" Robert instructed Clark and Kara, releasing a surge of power

 that blasted towards the abandoned building's toilet!

"Boom! Crack!" First, an explosion echoed, followed by the sound of space breaking, revealing a dark space amid the ruins...
