Summon of the Bloodline

Zhen Chen stopped his thoughts and began to meditate. He suppressed the whirlpool in his energy storage and increased its rotation speed. At that moment, he noticed blue characters glowing along his spine. These characters connected with each other, and blue energy flowed directly into his energy center. The energy storage was soon filled with this blue energy.

The energy storage became so full that it was no longer under Zhen Chen's control. The blue energy continued to pour in, and the storage expanded like an inflated bag until it suddenly burst. Zhen Chen, unable to control it, lost consciousness.

When he woke up, it was already morning, and he found himself in his bed. Remembering the explosion, he was startled and immediately checked his condition with his mind. The energy storage was empty, but at the center of his chest, a blue crystal-like nascent soul floated. The blue characters along his spine became more distinct, outlined in light blue. These characters were connected by blue threads. Surprisingly, even the thin energy particles in the air were drawn to Zhen Chen, like iron filings to a magnet.

Zhen Chen asked Zi Mo, "Zi Mo! What happened to me? My energy storage is gone... it exploded..."

He heard Zi Mo's amused voice in his mind, "It exploded, huh? That's good. You don't need to gather energy anymore."

Zhen Chen was confused. "Zi Mo! Stop joking around. Explain it to me properly."

Zi Mo explained, "Energy cultivation isn't as simple as you think. There's no single method or fixed rule. Different lineages and existences have various ways of cultivating energy. Zhen Chen asked, "What level does this put me at? The Nascent Soul stage?"

Zi Mo impatiently replied, "Probably. I can't say for sure."

Zhen Chen excitedly asked, "Can I fly now? Can I ride flying swords?"

Zi Mo: "..."

Zhen Chen laughed heartily. "Haha! If I could fly, my sister would definitely be shocked."

As Zhen Chen was lost in thought, he heard Yu Xue Yin's voice. "Zhen Chen, are you awake?"

"Yes, I'm awake. I'll be right there, Sister Xue Yin."

Zhen Chen freshened up and went outside. Yu Xue Yin was sitting on a small stool, directing the team to pack up.

"Sister Xue Yin, are we preparing to leave?"

"You sit here for a bit. I've already called the little dragon to help pack."

Zhen Chen sat beside her, and Yu Xue Yin asked with concern, "How are you feeling? Last night, I woke up and found you unconscious. I was so worried! But then I heard a voice in my mind saying you were fine, so I had some people carry you to your bed. What happened? Did something go wrong?"

Zhen Chen reassured her, "I accidentally broke through and passed out. It's because of my bloodline. There's no problem. How about you, Sister Xue Yin? Are you okay?"

Yu Xue Yin smiled and nodded. "I'm fine. I didn't even need to exert much effort. I've already formed ninety-nine energy channels in my body. The more energy channels, the better. Right now, the number I have is quite promising. Cultivating energy is really interesting, don't you think?"

Zhen Chen hesitated. Interesting? More like boring. He changed the subject. "Sister Xue Yin, do you know how to cultivate now?"

Yu Xue Yin had changed dramatically. Her clear, radiant skin, perfectly proportioned figure, and a natural aura made her as captivating as a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.
