Summon of the Bloodline

Chapter 21: Chapter (21) The Divine Central Order

Zhen Chen was walking back, chatting with Zi Mo, while others saw him as quiet and deep in thought, seemingly pondering something serious.

"Zi Mo... it's truly astonishing how the bloodline inheritance works. Yu Xue Yin, at such a young age, already knows her own cultivation method naturally."

"Well, that's not surprising. Think about it—complex energy structures, energy control, meridians, reactions, and the continuous evolution of techniques... Do you think reading about these in books or hearing them explained verbally would be enough to master them?"

"Just studying and understanding these would take a lot of time. To truly master them through practice would take years. Passing down techniques from one generation to the next was extremely difficult in the past."

"Because of these challenges, as bloodlines evolved, the ancestors devised a way to pass down memories and experiences to future generations without the need for teaching. This was the foresight of our ancestors."

Zhen Chen understood. Teaching everything from scratch to each new generation was inefficient. Thus, knowledge and techniques were hidden within the bloodline.

Once born, when the time was right, the bloodline would awaken, granting the inheritor the memories of their ancestors. This allowed the younger generation to automatically learn and master various techniques, along with gaining rich experience.

Zhen Chen now understood why Zi Mo often emphasized the importance of the bloodline. If the bloodline's power didn't awaken, one would lose everything and have to start from the very beginning, far behind others.

Zi Mo continued to explain, though even he didn't fully understand some things.

"Our ancestors worked tirelessly to improve the bloodline. The top figures often gathered to discuss and plan for progress..."

"After countless experiments and studies, the various clans came together to build the Central Order. The Central Order was constructed in the Divine Sea, located at the center of our universe. The Divine Sea is surrounded by countless galaxies. Ancient legends say that the Divine Sea gave birth to these galaxies. This is beyond my level of understanding."

Zhen Chen couldn't fully grasp the concept of the universe. Human exploration was still limited, so he could only listen in awe.

"What is the purpose of the Central Order?" Zhen Chen asked.

"The Central Order was built to ensure the peaceful development of all clans. However, it's undeniable that powerful clans have grown even stronger because of it. The Central Order is also the final resting place for the top figures of all clans."

Zhen Chen was shocked. "The Central Order... is a graveyard?"

Just the thought of it sent chills down his spine. A graveyard for the most powerful beings...

Zi Mo explained, "It's not what you think. Their bodies aren't buried there. Their souls are preserved in a special world created by the Order. It's as if they continue to live. Whether they truly feel alive, I don't know. Before their death, a new soul structure identical to theirs is created within the Order's world. When their soul merges with this structure, all their experiences, knowledge, and emotions are transferred to this duplicate body within the Order. So, even if their physical body and soul are destroyed, they continue to live within the Order's world. Isn't that terrifying?"

Zhen Chen listened carefully and replied, "So, even if their body and soul are destroyed, they continue to live in the Order's world. They become immortal."

Zi Mo agreed. "Yes. In the real world, they may disappear, but within the Order's created world, they continue to exist as long as the Order remains intact."

Zhen Chen thought this was terrifying. It was like copying a file from a phone, saving one copy in the phone's storage and uploading another to the cloud. Wasn't this a way to achieve immortality?

Zhen Chen continued to ask, "So, is this the main purpose of the Central Order?"

"Not exactly. The Central Order has many functions. Simply put, it stores the records, techniques, history, cultivation methods, bloodline structures, and top secrets of all clans. The influence of the Central Order extends to the sixth dimension. It's said to be built beyond our three-dimensional world because the Divine Sea is such a unique place."

"The Central Order is connected to all clans through branches. Talented individuals from each clan are allowed to enter the outer regions of the Central Order."

"These regions are like separate worlds created by the Central Order. Each clan has its own territory, and through these territories, they can sometimes communicate with their deceased ancestors."

"The heritage of each clan is also preserved there. The Central Order was created as a crucial place for all clans. Since its creation, the clans have progressed in various ways. The bloodlines have also improved."

"Later, the ancestors within the Central Order's inner world found a way to pass down bloodline memories. This was because their souls found it difficult to communicate from within. After that, clans with bloodline memories began to emerge."

"Clans with bloodline memories progressed faster since they didn't need to spend time learning. Over time, they became more advanced than clans without bloodline memories."

"Eventually, clans with bloodline memories were classified as high-level clans. Your human clan was once at the top."

Zhen Chen was astonished. Had the human clan once been so powerful?

He didn't know whether to feel happy or sad.

Zi Mo comforted him, "Actually, the human clan's structure is said to have descended from the original divine clan. This is an astonishing existence. Many clans have body structures similar to humans, but the human structure is considered the standard. It's the most basic and smooth energy circulation structure. This is something humans have always been proud of."

"The reason I'm telling you about the Divine Central Order is because it's directly connected to the Order's branches that we, the chosen ones, carry. One day, both of us might come under the control of the Central Order. That's why I want you to at least understand what it is."

Zhen Chen was so engrossed in Zi Mo's revelations that he lost track of time. Only when he heard some noise did he realize they had returned to the small town.
