Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 947: 944: Dilemma

Perceiving the two new and strange auras that were unlike any other aura he had ever perceived before was a little bit worrying to him after his discovery of a Tier 7 that was at the top of the ridge.

But after observing the auras a little bit more deeply, he realized that it was just the aura of a Tier 3 and a Tier 4, and he was stunned for two reasons.

The first was how a Tier 3 and a Tier 4 could emit such auras.

And the second was the fact that the Tier 3 and Tier 4 were going straight to the Tier 7 without stopping.

It was shocking to him, but at the same time, it presented an opportunity to him when he saw that the attention of the Immortal Leopard was drawn toward the Tier 3 and Tier 4.

Although he had no idea what the Tier 3 and Tier 4 planned on doing, or whether they had no idea that there was a Tier 7 where they were going, or whether they knew and they were just foolish or brave.

He had no idea, but he knew an opportunity when he found one.

And he found the opportunity to retreat with his people.

The thought of trying to take the Celestial Dewfern while the Immortal Leopard was battling with the Tier 3 and Tier 4 never came across his mind, because it would be absurd to even consider the thought of a Tier 3 or a Tier 4 battling a Tier 7.

He was a Tier 6 that was on the verge of becoming a Tier 7, but he knew that he was an ant before the Tier 7.

So what were Tier 4s and Tier 3s?

They were mere speck of dust that would not even be able to dirty the skin of the Immortal Leopard.

That was how vast the difference between an Immortal and those below was.

He did not bother to spread out his perception to see what was going on at the top of the ridge since he expected the Tier 3 and Tier 4 to become corpses, and he also did not dare to do that because he might draw the attention of the Immortal Leopard back to him and his group, and that would be a disaster in his opinion.

He had already given out the order of retreat to his group, but some moments later, he heard a roar of anger from the Immortal Leopard which eventually became a roar of pain and fury that shook the entire ridge.

Raj Brujah was stunned because how could a Tier 3 and a Tier 4 cause a Tier 7 to emit such fury.

'What did they do?'

He looked back, and this time around, he could no longer hold back his curiosity. He spread out his perception, and to his shock and immense disbelief, he saw that the Immortal Leopard was bleeding.

'What? How? How were they able to cause this much damage to a Tier 7? Even I cannot boast of being able to do that on my own.'

Raj's expression changed when he saw the Tier 3 and Tier 4 vanished at a speed that nearly exceeded his perception for a brief moment.

'What the?'

Raj reeled back in shock, and a second later, his eyes widened as fear, panic, and disbelief surged through his entire being.

"They're coming here?!"

Just as he shouted, the other Tier 6s in the group also noticed Corey and Pamela that were running at them in full speed.

"What do they think they're doing?!"

"They're bringing a Tier 7 down here?!

"Are they mad?!"

"Do those fools want to drag us down with them?!"

Various curses and shouts exploded from the remaining members of the Brujah Clan the moment they saw Corey and Pamela running toward them.

"Run! Run! Run!"

Raj Brujah shouted out loud in panic, especially when he saw the immense fury of the Immortal Leopard that had even changed the atmosphere of the ridge.

Surviving a battle against an Immortal as a Tier 6 is possible, but surviving a battle against a completely furious Immortal was absolutely impossible.

It was like a human trying to stop a raging bull with his bare hands.

Without hesitation, the members of the Brujah Clan ran. But when Raj saw that the distance between them, the bastards who were trying to kill all of them, and the raging Immortal Leopard, fear surged in his heart.

'How are those bastards not dead?! How are they catching up to us?! Damn it!'

Raj gritted his teeth as he executed his movement skill to the fullest. He looked at his clan members, and he was about to shout out that they should split up since it was clear as day that the Immortal Leopard's main goal was the Tier 3 and the Tier 4.

But then, he heard a shout from behind him.

"Hey!"

"If you help us to survive, we'll give you this!"

Raj snapped his head toward Corey with his blood-red eyes, and he was about to either curse Corey, unleash an attack on him, or ignore him completely since he did not expect Corey to have anything that would be of value to him as a Tier 3.

But when he saw what was in Corey's hands, his heart skipped a beat, and his eyes widened in disbelief.

'The Celestial Dewfern?!'

"YOU DARE?!!!"

The Immortal Leopard immediately roared the moment it saw the Celestial Dewfern in Corey's hands.

It had thought that the Celestial Dewfern had been destroyed, and seeing it in Corey's hands brought him not only relief, but more rage.

His treasure was in the hands of a human. And a mortal human at that. Not only did he cause him and injury that even some Tier 6s would not be able to inflict without extraordinary treasures or normal means.

The rage he felt was palpable.

Meanwhile, Raj was stuck in a dilemma. Should he succumb to his greed or ignore it?
