Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 792: 789: Smile

After Corey stored the Shard of Heaven's Fury in his Tri-Pupil Eyes, he performed an inspection of his body just to make sure everything was good.

He didn't need to do that, but he just did it out of pure curiosity.

He slowly got to his feet, rotated his shoulders, turned his neck, and his upper body to 'remove' every bit of stiffness in his body.

Once again, he had no need for all of these, but he did them all to briefly reminisce about his life before the apocalypse.

As he was doing all sorts of warm up exercises while inspecting his body, he frowned.

He noticed that his aura and presence had become... more terrifying.

He did not give off the feeling of being a Mystic Being, but at the same time, he gave off the feeling of being something... otherworldly.

His aura had always been like this, but he had been able to control it and hide it.

This time around, he could not do it the normal way because his aura had... more weight.

"My two titles and the fact that I have a Transcendent proficiency in over ten skills is leading to this... Also, the tribulation lightning I consumed also added to this."

Corey muttered softly, and then he closed his eyes.

Some moments later, Corey's aura slowly vanished, and his presence became like that of an average peak Tier 3.

Corey slowly opened his eyes, and exhaled softly.

Although he could not use his previous method of using his powerful mind to control his aura, he had two new methods he could use especially after his three year isolation training.

Breath of Omnipotence

Void Force

Breath of Omniscience usually completely erased his presence, but after practicing with it on numerous occasions, he learnt how to use to partially hide his presence.

This was what he used to hide his aura.

As for Void Force, it was one of the skills he practiced a lot on, especially after he was 'banned' from teleporting by the Supreme Ancestor.

He knew that the Supreme Ancestor was out of his league, but he believed that if he was more proficient in his ability to manipulate the void, he would have been able to find a way around it.

During his three year training, he learnt how to use Void Force to hide the secrets in his body and mind.

It was a protective method he discovered where his Void Phoenix Heart would constantly be releasing Void Force that would coat every corner of his Internal body, even the gate to his Mind's Eye.

With this, Corey believed that it would be difficult for anybody below Tier 7 to use any ocular ability or inspection ability to try and peer into his body.

Because he had never encountered a Tier 7, he had no idea just how powerful they truly were, so he could not be so confident in his abilities to hide his secrets against a Tier 7.

However, with these two abilities, Corey's presence and aura could be ignored by most people since he gave off the aura of a peak Tier 3.

'I guess I'm using Two-Factor Authentication to hide my secrets... That's nice.'

Corey lampooned inwardly, and then he shook his head with a light smile.

His eyes turned pure white, and then he looked in the distance. To be more accurate... In the direction of the Haven Continent.

He knew about the current situation of New Earth, and although he was not absolutely certain about what his next plans should be, he knew that he needed to get to the Haven Continent first of all.

"Hmm... I wonder if I'll see Divine, Pamela, and the rest in the Haven Continent."

A light smile appeared on his lips, and then with a mere thought, wind runes began to appear around him.

His body slowly rose in the air as a mini tornado appeared around him.

"Let's go."

The instant he said this, his body shot into the air, and in the blink of an eye, he reached the sky and turned.

The lake and trees around Corey trembled intensely due to the powerful gust of wind, and then it became quiet.

Meanwhile, Corey who was manipulating the wind runes around him through Arcane Elemental Runeweaving which was at Transcendent proficiency moved at a speed that would put several average Tier 6s to shame.

As Corey moved in the air, he was constantly observing everything that was occurring around and most especially, below him through his Eyes of Omniscience.

"By the way, Nina. Why did the definition of my new skill, Tribulation Echo, change?... When it was changing, it looked like a glitch."

Corey asked after some time. He had almost forgotten to ask because at the end of the day, the new definition of Tribulation Echo was beneficial to him.

[I'm not sure, but I believe the Paragon Ancestor intervened.]

Corey frowned, "He intervened? Why?"

[Well, if I'm to guess, I think it's because you faced an unfair situation.]

Corey was baffled, "Explain."

[You were not meant to face an eleventh tribulation. Besides, the Heavens was never meant to be that angry at you, which eventually made the tribulation more powerful than it was meant to be.]

[If I'm not wrong... The Supreme Ancestor most likely manipulated the tribulation to be more powerful, furious, and murderous at you... He's also most likely the reason why you faced an eleventh bolt.]

[The Paragon Ancestor probably made sure to reward you properly by giving you the Shard of Heaven's Fury and by changing the skill to a better skill.]

[I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like I'm right.]

Corey furrowed his brows deeply when he heard Nina's words. He was mostly concerned about the fact that the Supreme Ancestor knew about him and was targeting him.

'The Supreme Ancestor is the creator of the Universal System, and he has conquered our Universe... Basically, he's the god of our Universe.'

'Being a target of a powerful being like that is frightening...'

'... I need to get stronger... Faster.'

'Which means I need to save Anna as quickly as possible.'

'Hmm... This feeling of pressure... It sort of fun?'

'Who knows.' Corey smiled.
