Chapter 352: Chapter 349.

Chapter 349.

If this continues, those two are likely to become mindless killers, completely consumed by bloodlust and insanity. It seems this match has pushed them to their utmost limit.

Suddenly, Wang Feng glanced up into the air. He could see a floating room above, as if two eyes were observing everything below with great intensity and pleasure.

A few days earlier, Wang Feng had sensed that Tang San and Hu Liena might be reaching the edge of their endurance.

Inside the room in midair, a conversation was taking place.

"My Lord, these two are exceptionally strong," whispered the woman dressed in black.

"Under our control, they've killed tens of thousands of people. But now, they've hit their breaking point in this last game! No other Death God has ever slain so many people, not even in a hundred victories. Seven thousand was always the limit."

"It's a shame. If they keep going like this, the only result will be death by exhaustion. Their spirits are already on the verge of collapse." A soft, mocking laughter escaped the woman's lips.

"But this White Death is truly bizarre. He's likely killed more people than both of them, and yet... nothing has happened!"

She glanced at Wang Feng, who stood below, and shook her head. "My Lord, in the long history of the Slaughter City, has anyone like him ever existed?"

Even in this cursed city, the more people one killed, the more they became affected. No one was exempt—not even the Great Slaughter King. Throughout the city's thousand-year history, the role of the Great Slaughter King had changed countless times.

The Great Slaughter King shook his head slightly. This White Death was, without a doubt, the most unusual figure ever to claim the title of Champion in the Slaughter City. Over the years, most people who reached the rank of Champion were eventually consumed by their bloodlust. A few managed to retain their sanity, but even those individuals barely lasted long enough to make it to the Hell Road.

But this White Death? He had not changed at all. His aura remained pure, untouched by the dark forces of the city. Even after killing countless people, it was as if it meant nothing to him.

The Great Slaughter King had seen many things in his years, but never had he encountered such a person.

In theory, this should be impossible.

Unless... this individual had achieved a level of control over his bloodlust that went beyond anyone's comprehension. And even then, the purity of his aura was inexplicable.

"Still," the woman in black said with a smile, "he alone doesn't pose much of a threat to us." She paused, her expression freezing.

Her eyes widened as she watched the White Death approach Tang San and Hu Liena, both of whom were in a frenzied, half-mad state.

"What is he doing?" The Great Slaughter King's voice darkened.

"They are his rivals. Does this White Death plan to save them? Impossible! He doesn't even know them!"

"That's absurd," the woman in black sneered. "Both the Shura and the Hell Messenger are too far gone. Even Bloody Mary wouldn't help them in this state. The White Death must be trying to finish them off. But those two are now fully controlled by their bloodlust—if he tries to engage them, they'll turn on him, and he'll likely be killed."

Indeed, both Tang San and Hu Liena were formidable, and in their current states, their strength had increased even more. The odds were not in Wang Feng's favor.

Inside the Hell's Killing Fields, Wang Feng approached Tang San first.

Tang San, engulfed in madness, still glowed faintly with blue light.

"The Blue Silver Domain? Is it awakening?" Wang Feng thought, astonished. He observed that Tang San's eyes were bloodshot, consumed by killing intent.

"Although Xiao San is controlled by this bloodlust, his soul consciousness should still be intact. But after two years of intense killing, his body is acting on pure instinct."

Wang Feng shook his head and struck swiftly, gripping Tang San's shoulder. A stream of pure soul power flowed from Wang Feng's hand into Tang San's body.

Almost immediately, Tang San's movements came to an abrupt halt. The blood in his eyes began to recede, shrinking back to normal.

Beneath Wang Feng's white robes, a blood mark etched on his body began to glow faintly, absorbing the killing intent from Tang San.

At this moment, Wang Feng understood that the usual method of exuding pure aura wouldn't work to calm them. These two had been fully overtaken by the killing intent. He needed to act more directly.

Using his Dark Angel martial soul, with seven blood lines engraved upon him, Wang Feng began to absorb Tang San's killing intent. After a few moments, much of the bloodlust receded, though Wang Feng only absorbed as much as Tang San could handle.

Once Tang San's consciousness returned, he collapsed against a nearby pillar, panting heavily, his clothes soaked in sweat.

Without hesitation, Wang Feng moved toward Hu Liena.

Her condition was nearly identical to Tang San's. Thanks to the Starlight Fox skull soul bone, she hadn't sustained any injuries, but her eyes were blank, driven by an uncontrollable urge to kill.

Wang Feng gripped her shoulders and activated the blood mark to absorb her killing intent as well. Slowly, Hu Liena's frenzied state also subsided. She leaned against a pillar, her eyes dazed, as if recalling something distant.

By the time Wang Feng reached them, they had already been in this condition for some time. After completing their hundredth match, they couldn't contain their killing intent, and it exploded.

In the floating room, the Great Slaughter King and the woman in black watched in disbelief.

"Impossible!" the woman in black exclaimed.

"How did he manage to do that? Even with his pure aura, these two were fully controlled by their bloodlust. Yet, he managed to calm them down!"

The Great Slaughter King bared his fangs slightly.

"He absorbed it. This White Death has the ability to absorb killing intent of others. No wonder he hasn't been affected by the Slaughter City at all."

He could sense it clearly—the killing intent within Tang San and Hu Liena had dissipated significantly. Without that, they would never have recovered so quickly.

"Able to absorb killing intent?" the woman gasped. "But that's impossible! Even if someone could absorb it, the killing intent would corrupt their spirit and soul. How is he not affected at all?"

The Great Slaughter King was silent. Even he didn't know the answer to that. Killing intent was a mysterious and dangerous force. It was one thing to control it, but to absorb it without consequence?

Unless...

The person was a god!
