When I arrived at the castle, I was relieved to see that most of our people had made it back.

However, there were still a few people that were missing…

When I walked into the conference room, King Kashou was the one that led the group over to see me.

I could see that at least all of the leaders of the forces from the different races had all made it out. At the very least, it seemed that we had saved most of our main forces from being destroyed by that Apostle of Destruction.

"Your majesty, I'm relieved to see that you're alright!" King Kashou said in a moved voice before coming forward to take me in his arms.

I could only awkwardly let him do this while I was surrounded by the other representatives from the other races.

When he calmed down a bit, I asked, "What happened after the Apostle of Destruction chased after me?"

When they heard this, all of them revealed grim looks.

But King Kashou still explained, "After you acted as bait and brought the Apostle of Destruction away, the forces of Destruction poured out of that array. It was a hard fight for us and there were a few casualties, but we were able to make it out since the Apostle of Destruction was pulled away."

As expected, the ones that were missing were most likely the 'casualties' that he had mentioned.

I had already been expecting it, but hearing him confirm this was a completely different feeling.

We had been completely fooled by the forces of Destruction this time, so it could be considered my fault that those people had lost their lives.

But seeing the look on my face, everyone soon started comforting me and saying that it wasn't my fault. After all, none of them had any idea of what to expect and they still went along with it.

Still, I couldn't help feeling that it was my responsibility to a certain extent.

Only now wasn't the time to be thinking of this.

Taking a deep breath, I said, "I know that this will sound cruel, but now isn't the time to think about this. Instead, we should keep fighting the forces of Destruction and push them back for their sakes as well."

Everyone slowly came back from the emotions that they were feeling as well and nodded in agreement. When they came back, it was clear that they were far more determined compared to before.

Turning to King Kashou, I asked, "What is the current situation?"

Though I looked at King Kashou, the one that I was really asking this question to was the right minister.

King Kashou also knew this, so he didn't waste any time in letting the right minister take the lead.

When the right minister brought in the reports, I couldn't help deeply knitting my brows.

The situation that the reports described was as I had expected, but it was also much worse than I thought.

After we had left that place where the center of the array was, the forces of Destruction had started spreading out from there. It was clear that they wanted to conquer all of the land of the Mofu Mofu Kingdom with how they spread in all directions.

But it wasn't just that alone that was shocking.

It was the fact that there were bursts of corruption energy that were coming from all over the Mofu Mofu Kingdom.

In the places where the forces of Destruction attacked, there were reports of corruption energy suddenly bursting out of the ground.

"It's the array. It was for gathering corruption energy, but there's nothing that's stopping it from sending corruption energy to where it's needed." I said as I read the reports and looked at the map that had everything marked down.

Taking a deep breath, I then said, "Have everyone inside of the range of the array evacuated to outside the array. That's the only way to ensure that they'll be safe for now. As for later…well, that will depend on if we can take care of the Apostle of Destruction."

When the Apostle of Destruction was brought up, there were grim looks that appeared on everyone's faces once more.

It was clear that they remembered what happened when we had tried to fight the Apostle of Destruction. It was also obvious that the Apostle of Destruction had left a deep impression on them.

It could even be said that the Apostle of Destruction had left fear in them.

Regardless, it wasn't as if we could just leave the Apostle of Destruction be.

"So far, this capital has been able to keep the forces of Destruction at bay because of the forces from the racial alliance. But it'll only be a matter of them before they send a large force to take this place from us."

Everyone nodded in agreement when I said this.

It wasn't as if they couldn't see this either, it was just that they didn't know what to do.

"I hope that everyone will contact your leaders and have them send their full forces out to fight that Apostle of Destruction. If we don't stop that Apostle of Destruction, it will be the end of the world." I said in a heavy voice that caught everyone off guard.

They looked at me with surprised and confused looks when they heard this.

It took a while before one of them finally asked, "Your majesty, is it really that serious?"

With a nod, I said, "I can't tell you how I figured this out, but that array that was used to summon the Apostle of Destruction wasn't just to summon the Apostle of Destruction. It wasn't used to summon the forces of Destruction either."

They seemed even more confused when they heard this, but they were utterly shocked when they heard what I said next.

"That array was created to break the seal of the God of Destruction and summon them to this mortal coil. If we don't stop them now, it really will be the end of the world."
