She truly sat beside me! I looked at her face and touched her cheeks, she was wary of me.

"You're really cute. Can I kiss you?" I asked

"Can I refuse?"

"You're free to decline. I won't force you."

"Then no."

Am I that ugly?

"Alright. You know, since I'm helping you by keeping your secret, you'll have to do something for me." I said

"And what do I have to do?" She replied

"Not much. You'll just have to go on a date with me once in a week."

After thinking for a while

"understood. when should we go?" She said quickly

"How about now?" I asked

"Right now?"

"Yes, why not, both of them are asleep right now and if we leave right now, no one will know, I don't think there is any better time than now. If you want, we can go in bright daylight."

"N-No, it's fine right now."

"Okay."

We both teleported and somewhere else. I wore my old masquerade mask and made her wear a masquerade mask too so that we both couldn't be recognized. On top of that, I also used illusion magic on myself so that my clothes couldn't be recognized.

"Hey, have you ever went on a date before this?"

"Absolutely not, and you?"

"No, this is my first time too." I lied

I feel that this assassin is not trained properly, maybe if I try I can manipulate this girl, yes. Apart from this, I also want to enjoy this date.

We came inside a tavern. Everyone was looking at us, probably because our masks.

I sat on an empty chair. She took a chair next to me, pulled it back and sat on it, albeit still somewhat reluctantly

Waiter came to us and we ordered the food.

I am not that good at manipulation yet but I have to get better at it in the future.

Our date went on for quite some time. Initially there was no light on her face but after some time it seemed that she was enjoying the date. When I asked her name, she told me that it's honoka. I don't know whether its her real name or not.

I did not say anything bad about her masters this time, otherwise she could have suspected that I wanted to manipulate her.

When the date was over, I left her in the inn and and teleported away. I don't know if what I am going to do will work or not but I don't think I have any other option.

Whether this works or not, I will get the answer to my question only after meeting 'her'.
