"Raphtalia... Rifana, we have to leave from here." I said

"But why?"

"Why master?"

"After the recent incident, people here have started hating me a lot. It would be better if we don't stay here otherwise they might do something to us."

This is a lie actually. I'm going out of here because of Alna.

"But where will we go?" Raphtalia asked

The only place I can think of is

"Seyatte." I said

Besides that, I have to find Keel too.

"But that place will be very far from here. Apart from that, I don't think we have that much money to afford going there." Rifana said

"Don't worry about money. Every night after you both went to sleep, I used to go to the forest and collect herbs and sell medicines and potions made from them." I lied again.

"So that's why when we used to wake up at night, you were not there." Raphtalia said

"So you noticed. By the way, I wanted to tell you about one more thing- we heroes can teleport where we've been before, only if we have enough mana. My level is low now which is why I can use teleportation very less right now." I said

"Really?" Both said in unison.

"Yes. Get your things together, we are leaving from here."

"Okay master."

"Okay master."

Raphtalia and Rifana packed everything. After that, we went out of the room and locked it from outside. I went to the innkeeper that we are going out for a few weeks and gave her the advance payment. I also gave her the key of the room, instructing that if Alna comes here then give her the key of our room.

We came out of the inn and went to a place where no one was watching us. After that, we teleported into our room. The location of the seyatte was already registered in my shield, we took our stuffs and teleported. just before teleporting I put a letter and a moneybag with 50 gold coins in it on the table.

We teleported in a forest. The forest was the safest place for teleport. After that we started going towards the town in search of inn.

By luck, we found a suitable inn when we reached the town. The price here was more than the previous inn but it was within the budget, so we decided to stay here.

Raphtalia and Rifana are very cooperative.

Our training here continued as before.

After two-three days, I started feeling someone's presence near us. This time there were two girls, and none of them was Alna. I had an idea of who they might be.

To find out who these two were, one night I used a sleeping spell on Raphtalia and Rifana because so that they won't wake up. And after that

"There is no use of hiding, come out." I said in a loud voice

I said this while turning to the girl whose invisibility spell was more weak. As a result, only one person came out. The other one may have thought that she didn't got found out.

"I did'nt thought that anyone would be able to detect me."

"Who are you, and why are you here?" I threw a straight question

"I am keeping an eye on Raphtalia." She said

"But why?" I acted dumbfounded

"I do not have the permission to tell this to anyone." She said in a serious tone

"Then who have the permission to tell this to me?"

"I cannot tell you?"

"Do you wanna die?" I said

"From your words it seems that you have killed the previous assassins?" she said

"What are you saying? Meaning there were other assassins before you?" I asked, acting clueless.

"You don't need to know this. The only think I can tell you is, that my job is to keep an eye on that girl, and I don't like any interruption in my work. If you want to kill me you can try, but I assume that you are ready to be killed as well." She gave a savage reply

She took out her dagger

"I have no interest in killing you. Also, which idiot would want to kill such a beautiful girl?"

"Don't twist your words!"

"But I am telling the truth."

"I-I know that."

She started thinking what she should say next.

I increased the mana concentration around me to let her know how powerful I am.

Come to think of it, these assassins are really a pain in the ass. If I kill them, new ones will come after that.

"L-listen, if you don't tell anyone about me, I will spare your life." She said while trembling.

She pointed her dagger towards me.

She knows that she can't defeat me, but still she is doing this because of orders. She must be very loyal to do this without caring about her own life.

"Do you think you can kill me?" I looked in her eyes

"I don't know."

"If you can avoid this, will you do it?"

"Of course. Which idiot would want to die without any reason."

She feels that if she fights with me she will die. Well, she is thinking the right thing. that is, if I want I can kill her.

To tell the truth I have no sympathy for her, neither do I have any kind of affection for her. I am not killing her because there is no benefit in killing her. after killing her, other assassins will come.

If I kill them too then Qten-lo will consider me a threat. There is no benefit in messing with anyone uselessly.

Also, I have some other plan in mind

"Come here and sit here." I said with an impish smile

I tapped the spot on the bed next to me.

"What?" She looked suspiciously at me

"You don't want enmity between us, Do you?"
