The moment the eye opened on the blood-colored embryo, the entire vault seemed to pause. Time did not freeze, but every ripple in the air, every speck of dust in the dim red light slowed as if the world were holding its breath.

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable's gaze turned cold.

She immediately raised both hands, conjuring a constellation of sealing stars. They formed a majestic heavenly river that cascaded over the vault, wrapping around the blood embryo and forcing the eye shut. Even so, the sensation had already taken root in her heart.

"That wasn't a reflexive movement. It was awareness."

The revival process had been accelerated.

Whether it was due to Giant Sun's interference, or Fang Yuan's attack, or perhaps the embryo itself responding to its old enemies, it no longer mattered. Star Constellation understood that this hidden trump card of Heavenly Court could no longer be hidden.

Outside Heavenly Court, across the distant void, Fang Yuan's figure reappeared within a remote tributary of Reverse Flow River.

He sat in meditation, surrounded by distorted shadows and bubbling dream smoke. He had a ancient moth held in his right palm. This moth had a hour glass at the centre of its body; its wings looked as if they were burned repeatedly.

It was Memory Eclipse Gu.

His eyes were closed, but his mind was fully active.

"I've already obtained crucial information about this Gu; this Gu worm was distributed in many fragments which have their own connections with each other. Using this connection, i can deduce the other fragments of this Gu."

He opened his eyes momentarily and looked in the direction of Heavenly Court.

"The embryo… it reacted to me."

This was not a trivial matter. Fang Yuan had long since grasped many of the secrets behind Primordial Origin's revival. But even he had not anticipated that the sealed entity was this alive, this aware.

"That look… that aura… it isn't the same as before."

He summoned a memory image Gu, replaying what he had seen with the blood embryo.

A single eye, with no emotion, no hatred, not even sentience — just observation.

But that alone was threatening enough. Even without action, the gaze alone left an imprint on Fang Yuan's soul.

He let out a long breath.

"There is no more room for delay. I must harvest the next fragment of Memory Eclipse Gu. The current rate is too slow."

He turned and disappeared into the void.

Elsewhere, within the golden radiance of heaven and earth luck, Giant Sun Immortal Venerable stood calmly atop a mountain, gazing into the distance.

He waved his sleeve.

A bright stream of golden light extended into the distance, brushing over a series of flickering clouds.

He was not using investigative methods. Rather, he was making a decision.

"I could force open the vault again. But now… Star Constellation will not leave it unguarded."

He turned to look upward. There, he saw a majestic golden dragon with fierce claws and sharp teeth. But the dragon seemed to ommit an aura of misfortune; there were several black clouds which thundered loudly.

It was Giant Sun's luck.

"I'll need a substitute."

With a flick of his finger, golden light landed upon the Northern Plains battlefield.

There, an ancient battlefield was still being excavated by Luck Calamity Palace. The earth was scorched by blood path residue and the air torn by remnant refinement path fluctuations. But buried beneath these layers of destruction was something else entirely.

"Sleep no longer, Blood Covenant."

Back in Heavenly Court, Star Constellation stood within the depths of the vault, her expression unreadable.

She had resealed the embryo with six layers of immortal formations and eight layers of divine will barriers.

"The divine will that I've created can only prevent the embryo from thinking for a fixed period of time." She paused for a moment. "I need to place utmost importance on this vault.

The starlight around her flickered faintly. She remained silent for a long time.

Then she said softly, "Begin Plan Xuan Yuan."

From within the surrounding formations, seven clones made of starlight appeared, each one silently vanishing into different corners of Heavenly Court.

The first clone flew toward the Stellar Chessboard Array, activating dormant formations.

The second entered a hidden chamber to awaken the Time Biding Lock.

The third…

She had no more luxury to rely on hope.

"The moment of confrontation is coming."

At that time, far away within a rank eight grotto-heaven, which was previously under the possession of Zombie Alliance's branch. A figure shrouded in black robes stepped out of a sealed coffin.

His face was pale. His body was brittle. But his eyes burned with intense hatred.

"Star Constellation… you've awakened it."

This person was one of Spectral Soul's remnants — a subordinate soul fragment sealed by Zombie Alliance long ago.

He could feel it. The pulse of the blood embryo.

"I swore… I would destroy everything he left behind."

The remnant dissipated into the shadows. From the coffin rose another figure — not a soul, but a puppet body.

The two merged in silence.

Within a valley of dream sand near Southern Border, Red Lotus clone opened his eyes.

He looked toward the sky.

"Fang Yuan has made contact. Then it's only a matter of time."

The flames within his pupils flickered calmly.

He sat still for a moment longer before sighing.

"Memory Eclipse… is reacting again."

In the next moment, deep within Fang Yuan's sovereign immortal aperture, an ancient memory fragment pulsed faintly.

Memory Eclipse Gu resonated with it, emitting faint rays of black light.

Fang Yuan's thoughts stirred.

"Is this another lead? Good."

His hand clenched. He stood up. His aura stabilized.

The next step was to move before Star Constellation sealed off all paths.

The true battle for Primordial Origin's inheritance was only beginning.

[I know there are many things that have yet to be explained, but I'll try to give attention to each and every situation and character appearing in this battle. I'm also trying to write about the side characters such as Qin Ding Ling, Duke Mei, Duke Tong, Fang Yuan's clones, Wu Yong, Fang Di Chang, Fang Gong, Bai Ning Bing...etc. to do this, I'll probably need more and more time just to write a single chapter.
