Pokemon:I'm redThe strongest champion

Time flew by quickly.

It had now been three days since Red entered the Evergreen Forest. After spending the first day traveling and capturing Pidgey and Ironshell Pupa, Red dedicated the second day to intense battles, using Charmander and Pidgey as his primary fighters to challenge wild Pokémon. His goal was to increase their strength and gain as many system points as possible.

By the end of the second day, Red had accumulated 1,505 points. More importantly, Charmander and Pidgey had both reached their normal peak in strength, and the 'energy' they had absorbed had also hit the evolutionary threshold.

This meant that a single fierce or difficult battle could trigger their evolution to the second stage. The thought filled Red with anticipation.

In just three more days, Ironshell Pupa would complete its metamorphosis, giving him his first fully evolved three-stage Pokémon. And with the Beedrill Mega Evolution Stone sitting in his system backpack, Red's excitement only grew. Mega Evolution was a rare ability, even in this world, and he was eager to witness its power firsthand.

Morning in the Forest

"Charmander, Pidgey, wake up! It's time for breakfast. We'll be leaving Viridian Forest today," Red called out as he set out food for his Pokémon.

"Wow~" (Breakfast?)

"Bobo~" (Breakfast!)

At the mention of food, Charmander and Pidgey instantly woke up, rushing toward their food containers. Without waiting for permission, they buried their heads into the energy cubes and started devouring them enthusiastically.

Red chuckled as he watched. Their boundless enthusiasm for food and battle made them easy to care for. Shaking his head, he grabbed his own breakfast and started eating alongside them.

After about half an hour, the trio lay lazily on the grass, basking in the soft morning sunlight. Eventually, Red stretched, packed up his belongings, and set off toward Changpan City as per the system's map.

The journey took over an hour. Along the way, Pidgey trained hard, eventually tiring itself out. Red recalled it into its Luxury Ball to rest. Charmander, on the other hand, refused to return to its Poké Ball, insisting on continuing its training. Seeing its determination, Red simply nodded and let it accompany him.

Finally, after another hour of walking, Red stepped out of the dense forest and into the open path leading to Changpan City.

A New Power Awakens

Just as Red was about to recall Charmander, the system's voice suddenly echoed in his mind:

Reading through the description, Red's excitement only grew. This wasn't just any ability—it was one of the rare special abilities in the Pokémon world!

The Power of Evergreen was particularly useful in the wild. It allowed him to heal Pokémon's external wounds, internal injuries, and even hidden ailments. In essence, it was like carrying a portable Pokémon Center with him at all times.

Determined to test it out, Red turned his gaze toward Charmander.

"Wow?" (Why are you looking at me like that?)

Charmander took a step back, suddenly wary of Red's intent. Then, realizing that Red was his trusted trainer, it hesitated before stepping forward again.

Red sighed. "Come on, buddy. I just got a new ability, and I want to test it on you. Think of it as a reward for all your hard work."

"Wow?!" (A reward? Something to make me stronger?!)

Charmander's eyes lit up. It immediately approached Red, eagerly waiting for whatever this "reward" was.

Smiling, Red placed his right hand on Charmander's body and focused on activating the Power of Evergreen. Almost instantly, a gentle, green glow radiated from his palm, flowing into Charmander's small frame.

"Wow~" (So warm...)

Charmander let out a low purr of pleasure, its body relaxing as the soothing energy washed over it. It felt as if a refreshing wave was cleansing every inch of its muscles and bones, dissolving any fatigue left from the past few days of intense training.

Red's eyes widened. He could actually feel the flow of energy. It was warm, calming, and brimming with life.

"Looks like it really works…" he muttered. He observed that while Charmander had no visible wounds, its movements became sharper, more fluid, and it radiated newfound vigor.

Finally, the glow faded, and Charmander took a deep breath. Then, it hopped up and down excitedly, testing its improved mobility.

"Wow! Wow!" (I feel amazing! More! Do it again!)

Red laughed. "Hold on, buddy. I don't know how many times I can use it in one day. Let's not overdo it."

Even though he was thrilled about the discovery, he knew better than to waste an ability recklessly. He'd have to experiment further to understand its limits and full potential.

Onward to Changpan City

With their newfound strength, Red and Charmander continued their journey toward Changpan City. The road was peaceful, with wild Pokémon occasionally appearing, but none posed much of a challenge anymore.

After a few hours of walking, they finally saw the outline of the city in the distance. Towering buildings, bustling streets, and the scent of food stalls in the air greeted them.

Red clenched his fists in excitement.

This was just the beginning. The gym challenge, battles, and new adventures awaited him. And now, armed with the Power of Evergreen, he was more prepared than ever.

Smiling, he patted Charmander on the head. "Let's go, buddy. Our real journey starts now."

With that, they stepped forward, ready to take on the challenges that awaited them in Changpan City.
