Lian exhaled forcefully, directing the controlled fire energy to burst forth. As these scorching flames ejected, they began spinning and intertwining, forming a spiral shape akin to a horizontal tornado, propelling forward.

Although achieved only within the system space, Lian was thrilled. He managed to release a more potent Flamethrower using normal energy expenditure.

Of course, this feat required immense effort and could only be accomplished inside the system space. In reality, achieving such mastery would be impossible unless his Fire-type Energy Control Rating reached extraordinary heights.

"I wonder if practicing other Fire-type moves within the system space, and executing them correctly, will make the system recognize that I've learned them," Lian pondered. Although he didn't know how to perform these moves yet, by persistent experimentation, there was a chance he could successfully execute them, albeit slim.

Many Pokemon moves have been passed down through generations, each with unique casting methods. Without relying on Move Disks, learning these moves would indeed be challenging.

Well, let's give it a try. How else will I know unless I attempt it?

Lian recalled the various moves Charmeleon could learn and decided to start with Fire-type ones. Currently, not many of these seemed easy to master.

To master Flame Burst, Lian first needed to learn how to make fire explosively burst, which is the key characteristic of this move. The primary damage comes from the bursting flames.

Therefore, despite consuming minimal Fire-type energy, Flame Burst inflicts substantial harm due to its explosive nature.

Based on his understanding, initially, Lian was unsure how to make the flame burst. But through repeated practice and contemplation, he gradually grasped the technique.

After much time, Lian opened his mouth and unleashed a Flame Burst. The vibrant orange-red flames abruptly exploded at the last moment, scattering widely.

This clearly wasn't the true Flame Burst, as learning it without referring to a Move Disk proved more challenging than anticipated.

Eventually, the allotted time ran out, and Lian was forcibly ejected from the system space.

With a creak, the door opened, revealing a familiar figure—none other than Moka, who had returned to challenge again.

Kalia looked at Moka, somewhat surprised. She expected him to wait a few days before challenging her once more, but he seemed eager and impatient. Surprisingly, his match was the first battle of the day at the Battle Tower.

"I did say I would frequently challenge you," Moka stated determinedly. Unwilling to give up, he set a goal for himself—to challenge Kalia every day until he achieved victory.

"Let's begin."

Kalia remained unfazed; Moka's strength wasn't weak, making him a worthy opponent.

As Lian emerged from the Poké Ball, he was taken aback upon seeing Moka. Pinching himself to check if it was a dream, he had indeed hoped that Moka would be the first to challenge Kalia, but only as wishful thinking, considering the slim chances.

To his surprise, Moka wasted no time and arrived early at the Battle Tower to face Kalia. For Lian, this was incredibly fortuitous.

More Combat Points incoming!

Feeling excited, Lian recalled yesterday's high combat rating. Although today Moka likely wouldn't have Umbreon use Rest often, Lian still confidently anticipated another high score, aiming for at least two thousand Combat Points.

Earning over two thousand Combat Points in just one day, at this rate, Lian would accumulate a substantial amount swiftly.

Feeling elated, Lian's fondness for Moka grew even more. What a great guy! If only Moka persisted and challenged Kalia daily, it would be perfect.

Driven by the desire for Combat Points, Lian thoroughly dominated Moka during their battle, ensuring not to waste a single point.

In the end, Lian emerged victorious without sustaining any damage, defeating both Umbreon and Honchkrow. Although Umbreon used Rest only once, it still yielded significant Combat Points. Additionally, Grovyle didn't have a chance to enter the fray this time.

After the match, Moka promptly left. Despite losing, his primary goal was to enhance his skills through battling Kalia; winning wouldn't serve that purpose anyway.

"Charmeleon, what are you grinning about so foolishly?!" Seeing Charmeleon's silly grin, Kalia playfully smacked its head with a hint of amusement.

Lian felt brimming with determination. If Moka challenges Kalia first thing tomorrow again, it would be fantastic.

"Haha!" Lian laughed out loud.

With over three thousand additional Combat Points, his total surged back above four thousand. However, he decided not to use them immediately but instead planned to accumulate more before upgrading his Rock Resistance in a few days.

Initially, Lian had concerns about having insufficient points, but now it seemed entirely possible to reach level '1' for Rock Resistance.

"Combat Points are scarce; they're needed across various aspects. It would be great if there were alternative ways to earn more."

As his strength increased, the system unlocked numerous capabilities. Aside from future evolution into Charmeleon and further enhancing Rock Resistance, just considering Energy Control, Explosive Power, Ability Points, and eventually move proficiency—all these required spending Combat Points for improvement.

Without relying on regular training, advancing these skills could take months of consistent effort.

After reviewing today's battle data, Lian began practicing Flame Burst. He already gained some insight, given Charmeleon's inherent talent for Fire-type moves. Even without using the Move Disk, there was a chance he could naturally grasp Flame Burst.
