People are writing diaries in Douluo, Bibi Dong is crazy about it

Chapter 181: Chapter 181

**Chapter 181: From Great Sorrow to Great Joy**

A Rou wiped her tears as she continued reading the diary. By the time she reached the last paragraph, her sorrow transformed into simmering anger.

"What nonsense is this? Rabbits on the blue planet grow up in half a year? Six to eight litters a year, with six to eight babies per litter?"

She clenched her fists, recalling the diary's insinuation about her and Xiao Wu. "How absurd! How could I be that kind of rabbit?"

Her voice trembled as she continued, "Since my birth, I've only given birth to Xiao Wu. She's a proper young lady, not some... prolific ancestor rabbit or rogue rabbit."

Indignation surged as she thought of how the diary had tainted their innocence. "If Soft-Bone Charm Rabbits were truly that fertile, the entire Star Dou Great Forest—no, the entire Douluo Continent—would be overrun by them. Such simple logic, and yet the diary writer failed to grasp it."

A Rou seethed. "If that writer were here right now, I'd show him the true might of the Explosive Killing Eight-Section Throw!"

Unable to contain her anger, A Rou stood and released her martial soul, channeling her soul power in an explosive burst. Every apple on the tree before her became a stand-in for the diary's writer.

Her body blurred as she teleported between branches, her kicks sending apples flying to the ground. Using her third soul skill, teleportation, she decimated the tree's yield in seconds. By the time she was done, no apples were left hanging, but many were shattered upon impact.

Panting beneath the now-barren tree, A Rou felt her anger and sorrow finally recede. She glanced at the diary, still floating half a meter in front of her, and frowned.

"You're still here?" she muttered, trying to will it closed. To her surprise, the diary complied, shutting itself with a gentle thud. Then, two notifications appeared on its surface:

[First Reward: Lifespan +30 years, Aging Speed -10%. The reward has been unlocked and will be issued shortly.]

[Second Reward: Lifespan +50 years, 10% Enhancement to Cultivation Aptitude. The reward has been unlocked and will be issued shortly.]

Golden streams of light emerged from the diary, enveloping A Rou in a comforting warmth reminiscent of soaking in a rejuvenating hot spring.

As the warmth receded, A Rou felt an immediate change. Her lifespan increased by 80 years, her cultivation aptitude improved by 10%, and her aging speed slowed by 10%. Her body felt lighter and more youthful, as if she had regained the vitality of her teenage years.

She blinked in astonishment. The emotional rollercoaster of the day had left her breathless.

From learning of her husband's tragic fate to venting her fury, and now receiving blessings that extended her life and enhanced her potential, she felt overwhelmed.

A Rou's feelings toward the diary writer softened. He had saved her life by warning her of the dangers of seeking her husband, sparing her daughter from becoming an orphan. Moreover, he had gifted her tangible benefits: more time, better potential, and a slower aging process.

"Perhaps he didn't mean to offend us," she mused, recalling his earlier remarks. "Maybe he just didn't understand us."

A Rou resolved to give him the benefit of the doubt. "If we ever meet, I'll let him see for himself who we truly are."

However, she remained wary of his intentions to take her and Xiao Wu away from the Star Dou Great Forest. Though she recognized the potential benefits of venturing into the human world, Xiao Wu's safety came first.

"Could he really be trusted?" she wondered. His strength, comparable to that of a level 98 or 99 Extreme Douluo, suggested he didn't need their soul rings or bones. But the thought lingered.

As A Rou gathered the unbroken apples, she reflected on the shattered ones littering the ground. "What a waste," she sighed, lamenting the ruined harvest.

Returning to her small home, A Rou considered whether to tell Xiao Wu about her father's death. "She's still so young. Can she bear such news?"

Her thoughts were interrupted as she opened the door to find Xiao Wu leaping into her arms. Tears streamed down the young rabbit's face, her red eyes shimmering with sorrow.

A Rou's heart sank. "Xiao Wu… do you know?" she asked hesitantly, her voice faltering.

Xiao Wu nodded solemnly. "I know, Mom. I know everything. Please… don't leave me."

The confirmation hit A Rou like a bolt. Her daughter must have received the diary before her and already known the devastating truth. Unable to contain her emotions, A Rou pulled Xiao Wu close, tears spilling freely.

"Xiao Wu, I will never leave you. I'll stay by your side forever. You'll never be alone, I promise."

Mother and daughter clung to each other, their tears soaking through fur and clothing alike. In that embrace, they found solace in their shared grief and renewed determination to protect one another.
