OPM: Dimensional Divine Selection,Only I Know Saitama Is the Strongest

Chapter 65: Chapter 65: Total Annihilation! The Most Dramatic Soap Opera of the Year?

With Elias Vale dead, the others stood no chance against the undead terror.

The second to fall… was Damon Lawson.

He was the heir to Atomic Samurai's legacy, a rising star from Godslayer Academy, nurtured by countless mentors as a future powerhouse. But now, he lay lifeless in Forbidden Zone #3.

A fallen genius was no longer a genius.

Vincent Fox's expression remained cold and detached. These so-called elites had come here intending to kill him. Getting killed instead? That was only fair.

With Damon's death, the last two students from Godslayer Academy completely lost their nerve. Panic overtook them as they screamed and ran in all directions.

Uncle Nate couldn't bear the sight. He called out, "Let it go, kid. Show mercy when you can. Tell the zombie to stop!"

Vincent rolled his eyes. He had no interest in that kind of idealism.

His code was simple: if no one offends me, I won't offend them.

But if someone dares?

I eliminate them completely.

"Show mercy" was never in Vincent's vocabulary.

"Aaah!!"

Another scream.

Another Godslayer Academy student fell.

Only one remained.

But instead of continuing to flee, he suddenly stopped and turned to kneel before Vincent.

"Vincent, call off the zombie! I'll tell you a huge secret, just don't kill me!"

"Oh?"

That piqued Vincent's interest.

"Stop," he commanded calmly.

Immediately, the undead Mr. Ren froze mid-lunge.

Obedient like a trained hound.

Vincent gazed down at the young man. "Speak. What's this secret?"

The youth swallowed hard and said, "It wasn't our idea to kill you. Before we entered, our instructor met with us privately… He ordered us to kill both you and Autumn Summer in here."

Vincent's eyes narrowed.

An instructor from Godslayer Academy?

Only one face came to mind: Walter Wayne.

But why would Walter want his students dead?

Behind Vincent, Autumn stepped forward with cold fury in her eyes. "We've done nothing to him. Why would your instructor send you after us?"

Her face was pale with restrained anger. An instructor sending students to assassinate her and Vincent in a forbidden zone?

That was pure madness.

"Because you threatened his position," the youth said bitterly, hatred flashing in his eyes. He clearly no longer intended to protect Walter.

Like a cracked dam, the truth poured out.

"Our instructor Walter Wayne and your instructor Terry Yan were once classmates. Walter was even adopted by the Yan family. They were like brothers, grew up together…"

"After graduation, both competed for a teaching spot at Godslayer Academy. The school initially leaned toward Terry. But Walter framed him, disgraced him, and forced him out. That's how he got the job."

"And I heard Terry had a childhood sweetheart… who eventually became Walter's wife."

"We dug up all this dirt ourselves. It's real. You can confirm it with your teacher when you return."

Vincent didn't need confirmation.

He believed it.

No wonder Old Man Terry had such a grudge against Walter. Their past was soap-opera-level drama.

Vincent could already imagine Walter's warped mindset living in Terry's shadow all his life, developing an obsession with revenge that drove him to these despicable schemes.

The young man continued, "Walter sent us after you because he feared that if you both grew too strong, your teacher would rise again with you. He couldn't let that happen."

In this world, university mentors and their students shared both fame and fortune. A teacher who nurtured outstanding students would receive national recognition and generous rewards.

Walter Wayne refused to allow that. He wanted Terry Yan buried forever in disgrace. So he used his own students as pawns in a sick vendetta.

Only he never expected… Vincent Fox was cheating fate itself.

As the youth finished, Autumn looked stunned.

To think her near-death had been orchestrated over some petty grudge. It left her speechless.

Had Vincent not been here, she would've surely died.

"Vincent, I told you everything I know. I was never the one who wanted you dead. Please, let me go…"

His plea was cut short.

A neat hole appeared in the center of his forehead.

The young man collapsed to the ground, unwilling and unfulfilled.

Vincent flicked his finger and said coolly, "Letting you go? Never happening. Be grateful I spared you the pain of being torn apart by a zombie."

Author's Note:

Some readers worry about the Saitama Physique being exposed. Don't worry it's not that easy. If you answer wrong during bonding, it fails.

Even if someone guesses it and obtains it, the Saitama Physique in this story has strict training requirements: 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats, and a 10 km run daily. Without the method, it's useless.
