Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The Devil's Descendant

Qin Chuan recognized the man. This was the very one Blackbeard had freed and taken aboard his crew in the original story—a man whose strength was comparable to the recently deceased Baskerville Shot.

Next, Qin Chuan stepped up to Domino.

At this point, Domino's expression was tense, sweat dripping from beneath the brim of her cap.

It was clear—there was no way she could stop Qin Chuan now.

"The keys. Hand them over."

"In your dreams!"

SLAP!

The brief conversation ended abruptly as Qin Chuan delivered a crisp slap across her face.

In the next instant, Domino's head smashed into the wall beside her, and she collapsed unconscious.

"'In your dreams'? Damn it, talking back with that kind of strength? That's just embarrassing," Qin Chuan snorted, crouching down and unfastening the key ring from her belt.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. Reward: 15,000 Fame Points.

That notification, naturally, was for Domino.

With the keys in hand, the shouts from around the prison only grew louder.

Qin Chuan made his way to the cell of the man who'd been shamelessly flattering him moments before—Avalo Pizarro.

Click. The cell door opened.

When Avalo Pizarro saw Qin Chuan, it was as if he had seen a savior, his eyes burning with admiration as he stared at Qin Chuan.

"Bro! Let me out of here, and I'll help you get that legendary treasure!"

"Sorry, buddy. Rather than you joining me… I'm more interested in the Fame Points you'll give me."

"F-Fame Points? I don't know what you're talking about—I don't have anything on me! Search me if you want!"

Avalo Pizarro was completely bewildered, shouting in confusion at Qin Chuan.

"You didn't have any before—but now you do."

As soon as Qin Chuan said this, the sound of pained groans echoed from within Pizarro's cell.

A moment later, Qin Chuan stepped out of the cell.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. Reward: 30,000 Fame Points.

Just moments before, the entire sixth level of Eternal Hell had been noisy with excitement and envy.

But after Qin Chuan's sudden actions—the entire place fell into dead silence.

The corridor was so quiet that even the sound of breathing could be clearly heard.

A beat later, Qin Chuan moved on—to Catarina Devon, who had been shouting earlier.

Known as the "Crescent Moon Hunter," Catarina Devon suddenly felt a creeping sense of dread as Qin Chuan approached her, smiling.

"W-What are you doing?!"

When Qin Chuan unlocked her cell door, Catarina Devon couldn't help but speak.

"I told you—I want Fame Points."

"F-Fame Points?! I'll give them to you! Just tell me how—I'll give them right now!"

"Thanks."

With that, Qin Chuan kicked her square in the chest.

BOOOOOOM!!!

With another loud crash, Catarina Devon didn't even get a chance to scream before she collapsed unconscious on the spot.

Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have defeated an enemy. Reward: 30,000 Fame Points.

Seeing Qin Chuan knock out Catarina Devon as easily as the others, the remaining prisoners in Level Six erupted into chaos.

"Someone tell me—what the hell does that guy want?! Why is he just beating everyone up?!"

"What's a Fame Point?! I don't have anything except the grime on my body!"

"Damn it! Why is this guy even worse than the Marines?! He just starts beating people up for no reason!"

While everyone grumbled and cursed, Qin Chuan didn't care at all. One by one, he kept unlocking the cells and knocking out whoever was inside.

For a while, the sixth floor of Eternal Hell truly became a living nightmare.

Finally, Qin Chuan reached the very last cell at the end of the corridor.

From inside, a deep, cold voice spoke:

"Don't open this door. Or you'll die."

Qin Chuan froze for a moment.

He hadn't expected anyone in Level Six to still have this much backbone.

Along the way, he had already seen countless notorious pirates, including many who later became Blackbeard's terrifying crewmembers, now beaten half to death by him.

But this one… this prisoner intrigued Qin Chuan.

Could it be that there was someone truly formidable still hidden on Level Six?

Driven by curiosity, Qin Chuan slowly pushed open the cell door.

And at that moment, a large, muscular figure lunged from the darkness—a middle-aged man with long golden hair, wearing a tattered military uniform, charging at Qin Chuan with murderous intent.

As he closed in, the man raised his seastone shackled fists high, ready to bring them crashing down on Qin Chuan's head.

"Overconfident fool," Qin Chuan muttered.

With a calm motion, he gently lifted his leg—

BANG!

Pain shot through the man's body, and in the next instant, he collapsed to his knees in front of Qin Chuan.

"Still feeling tough?"

"GET LOST!"

Enraged by Qin Chuan's taunt, the man roared and tried to rise for another attack.

BANG!

Qin Chuan kicked him again, this time with far more force.

With a violent crash, the man vomited a mouthful of blood, his entire body wracked with coughing spasms, unable to breathe properly.

"Go ahead—kill me if you've got the guts!"

Even faced with this crushing defeat, the man still glared at Qin Chuan with a look of defiance and scorn.

Seeing someone with this much unyielding spirit actually piqued Qin Chuan's interest.

"Locked up in Impel Down Level Six, wearing an old military uniform, long golden hair… could it be—you're Douglas Bullet? The Demon Heir?!"

Staring carefully at the beaten figure, Qin Chuan's expression shifted to one of astonishment.
