Baskerville Shot never expected Shiryu of the Rain to suddenly attack. Plus, with seastone shackles restraining him, his movements were sluggish.

In the next instant, Shiryu's blade slashed directly across Baskerville Shot's arm.

"AAARGH!"

A pained, agonizing scream echoed through the entirety of Level Six: Eternal Hell.

"Shiryu! You dare attack me!?" Baskerville Shot roared in fury.

"Trash. If I hadn't been locked up in this cage, killing garbage like you would be child's play."

"Hah! Then unlock me and let's see! I could crush you into pulp with just one hand!"

"Oi, oi, what's all this arguing about?" another voice cut in.

It was Qin Chuan, strolling lazily into view. "You there—Baskerville Shot, right? I heard you were kind of famous before. But right now, maybe focus on stopping the bleeding from your arm, huh? Once I finish with Shiryu, I'll come over and have a chat with you. Try not to bleed out before then."

As the two were bickering, Qin Chuan's calm voice echoed through the cell block.

Shiryu realized instantly that his real enemy was still Qin Chuan, and without hesitation, turned back around.

"OUT OF MY WAY! Wave Slash!"

Shiryu raised Rainfall high overhead and brought it crashing down with terrifying force.

A blue, crescent-shaped shockwave blasted along the floor, speeding directly toward Qin Chuan.

"Eight Inner Gates—Gate of Shock—OPEN!"

The Gate of Shock was the seventh gate, the one before the Death Gate, the penultimate release of power.

As Qin Chuan roared, blue steam, formed from the evaporation of his sweat, poured from his entire body.

At that moment, his speed pushed the absolute limits of human capability.

That deadly blue shockwave rushing toward him now looked soft and weak, like a little ripple in his eyes.

With a light step, Qin Chuan easily dodged Shiryu's Wave Slash.

BOOM!!!

Shiryu's attack slammed into the thick prison wall behind Qin Chuan, carving a massive cleft straight through the stone!

"All right—now it's my turn. Shiryu, the game's over. Daytime Tiger!" Qin Chuan bellowed skyward as the blue steam exploded upward around him.

In the blink of an eye, he began compressing the air around him, condensing it into one single, terrifying blow that shaped itself into a massive, roaring tiger of compressed air.

For Shiryu, the air cannon shaped like a tiger appeared in the blink of an eye, suddenly right before his face.

In the time it took to draw a single breath, Qin Chuan's fist was already smashing into Shiryu's face.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

Shiryu was sent flying like a broken kite, flung violently backward.

The explosive shockwave radiating from the blast shook the entire floor, sending out force in all directions.

Even Domino, standing a good distance away, was blown backward by the shockwave, stumbling several steps before regaining her footing.

When she finally stood still, blood dripped from the corner of her mouth.

If just the residual shockwave of Qin Chuan's punch could do this much damage, it clearly showed how terrifying Qin Chuan's true strength was.

At the same time, two system notifications echoed in Qin Chuan's mind:

After his arm was severed by Shiryu, his condition rapidly deteriorated.

And then, when Qin Chuan's Daytime Tiger shockwave blasted through, it ruptured his internal organs on the spot, causing him to die instantly.

"So even these prisoners still in their cells give out Fame Points, huh? And with so many famous pirates locked up here on Level Six… looks like I'm about to hit the jackpot!" Qin Chuan's heart surged with excitement.

But he knew full well that Eight Inner Gates came with a price. Opening all eight gates meant certain death—unless, of course, you had protagonist plot armor.

That's why Qin Chuan stopped at the seventh gate.

Even so, with the seventh gate open, once it deactivated, even light contact with his body would cause agonizing pain and potentially leave him crippled or dead.

While the Gate of Shock was still active, Qin Chuan calmly walked over to Domino.

All around them, the pirates who had been flung back by the shockwave were now shouting excitedly.

They had seen with their own eyes just how powerful Qin Chuan was.

And it was obvious now—Qin Chuan was the only one who could lead them out of Impel Down.

Years ago, Golden Lion Shiki had escaped. So surely… with Qin Chuan at the helm, they could escape too.

And now, many of these infamous pirates began calling out to Qin Chuan:

"I'm Avalo Pizarro! Get me out of here, and I'll become your strongest crewmate!" shouted a man clad in a long fur coat of alternating white and deep brown, wearing a light purple necklace, with feline eyes, pounding desperately at his cell door.
