One Piece: My New Home

Taking a deep breath to recompose himself, Ray made note to be more on alert next time. As potent and ridiculous his future sight was, Kaido himself possessed it and was a physical anomaly.

In a situation where both fighters possessed advanced observation haki, it had little use unless one's haki was superior and could see even further ahead.

'I needed a battle like this, my haki started to stagnate and only someone like Kaido can push me further' thought Ray as he begun to think his encounter with Kaido might actually help him, although that's if he survived.

Interrupting his thoughts, Kaido swung his kanabo at Ray's torso but the Marine was prepared and leaped backwards with composure.

Without warning, Kaido swung his enormous kanabo down in a brutal arc, aiming to crush Ray with overwhelming force. The air around him rippled from the sheer power of the strike, and the ground cracked beneath Kaido's swing.

Ray moved with incredible speed, his body a blur as he dodged to the side, his katana flashing out in a quick slash aimed at Kaido's exposed side. The blade hummed through the air, but Kaido quickly dodged as well.

"Wo Ro Ro Ro, so you can keep going brat!" laughed Kaido as he was truly getting excited.

Ray, undeterred gathered his will, channelling his haki into his sword as it crackled with destructive lightning. He lunged forward, slashing at Kaido with devastating power. His sword cut through the air with incredible speed, aiming directly for Kaido's heart.

Kaido's eyes gleamed with caution. "Foolish," he muttered, stepping aside with terrifying speed, his kanabo sweeping down to knock Ray's strike off course. The collision sent a shockwave through the air, the force pushing the swordsman back several feet. His feet dug into the earth, but he kept his footing.

Ray, enjoying the challenge, smirked. "A Yonko isn't that scary after all, huh."

Kaido's eyes narrowed, and with a deep breath, he pushed himself forward again, his kanabo glowing with Conqueror's Haki as he swung it in a powerful arc aimed at Ray's body. The sheer power of the strike made the air tremble, a loud crack echoing with each movement.

Ray's grin faltered only for a moment as he parried the blow with his blade, the sheer force of the clash sending a shockwave that cracked the ground beneath them. Ray stumbled back, his arms numb from the collision, but he quickly regained his stance.

At this moment, Ray switched his stance as he held Kurenza with his right hand instead of both his hands. What Ray needed wasn't power but rather more tools in his arsenal and his fist gave him that.

Amused by the sudden change, Kaido waited for Ray to advance. In blistering pace, Ray appeared right above Kaido with his left arm swinging down.

Ray muscles tensed as he focused all his power into the punch. The air seemed to crackle with intensity as his fist descended, the weight of his force magnified by the height of the strike and his Conqueror's Haki.

His left hand, a blur of motion, came crashing down like lightning, aimed to crush anything in its path. The ground beneath him seemed to tremble as the force of the punch loomed, promising destruction with every inch it fell.

Kaido attempted to lift his kanabo in the air to block but the punch was too quick and thoroughly pounded him into the ground. The Yonko taking the full brunt of the punch grunted in pain as the ground crumbled along with his massive figure.

To fully highlight the sheer power of Ray's punches, it's important to know that he combined his Rokushiki techniques along with Fish-Man Karate and Haki thus creating a devastating technique. 

Not willing to give Kaido any room to breathe, Ray launched himself high in the air like a rocket. Facing the crater below, Ray let an extraordinary amount of Haki flow through his fist as he pulled his fist back with explosive force, and then released it in a powerful, wide arc right below.

'It's about time I used this' thought Ray briefly as he reflected on the 2 years he spent learning to coat his attacks with Conqueror's Haki.

Galaxy Impact!

The air itself seems to warp as his fist moved, creating shockwaves that rippled through the surroundings. As his punch connected, a colossal explosion of Haki erupted, sending shockwaves across the Marine base. The sheer force of the impact creating a massive shockwave, capable of flattening anything in its path, as if the very heavens themselves were struck. The ground trembled, and the sky seemed to shudder in response to Ray's overwhelming power.

Rapidly descending onto the ground, Ray didn't grow over confident. He had surely hurt Kaido but a Yonko like Kaido could fight for many days.
