With Sakazuki's command, the warship surged forward, cutting through the waves at breakneck speed toward the island ahead.

As they drew closer, four pirate ships came into view, anchored around the island—all flying the same flag. Their mismatched appearances made it obvious: these vessels were stolen spoils, looted from different seas.

"Marines! The Marines are coming!"

"Wake up, you idiots! The Marines are here!"

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

"Someone go get the boss—now!"

Panic swept through the pirates as the Navy warship barreled toward them. Guards shouted, scrambling to rouse their comrades and alert the captain.

In the chaos, the pirate captain stormed back with his bloodstained cutlass, flanked by a mob of followers.

"What are you panicking for? Load the cannons! Let 'em have it when they get close!"

Even amid the mayhem, the captain's authority was absolute. His shout snapped the crew to attention. Pirates rushed to load the cannons, hands trembling as they prepared for battle.

"Rear Admiral Sakazuki, the pirates are within range. Do we open fire?" The gunnery officer strode over, awaiting orders.

"Fire. Sink their ships."

Sakazuki's voice was cold as steel.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A relentless barrage thundered across the sea. The Navy struck first. All Marine warships were custom-made, but Sakazuki's vessel was a special design for patrolling the Four Blues—thirty-two naval cannons, unmatched firepower, and a blistering rate of fire.

Salvo after salvo rained down like a storm. Shells tore through the air, exploding across the pirate fleet. Nearly half found their mark, shattering hulls and sending debris flying. Escape was now impossible.

Watching his ships splinter and his men scatter, the pirate captain's fury boiled over.

"You bastards!"

"Fire back! Blow those Marine dogs to hell!"

"Fire! Fire! Don't just stand there!"

Driven by their captain's rage, the pirates fought to steady their nerves and returned fire. But their ships were a hodgepodge of stolen wrecks, with cannons hastily bolted on—no match for the Navy's state-of-the-art artillery.

Their shots fell short, splashing harmlessly into the sea, never reaching the warship.

"Damn it!"

"Grab all the treasure! Don't leave a single coin!"

"Everyone, abandon ship—get to shore!"

With their counterattack failing and their ships taking on water, the pirates had no choice but to retreat to land.

"There should still be some survivors in town..."

"You, you, you, and you—go snatch a few kids for me. Move it!"

The captain, face twisted with desperation, picked four of the fastest pirates to dash back into the town they'd just slaughtered, ordering them to bring back children as hostages.

"Damn these Marines..."

"I haven't even made a name for myself yet. I can't die here!"

He caught sight of someone edging away—a scrawny pirate trying to slip off. Madness flashed in the captain's eyes.

"Trying to run, are you?"

"N-no, Boss..."

"Then why are you backing away? Get over here."

"Come here! Now!"

"Y-yes!"

As the trembling pirate approached, the captain's face contorted with a savage, unhinged grin.

CRACK!

Thud, thud...

With a single swing, he beheaded the man.

Blood sprayed across the captain's face, the hot spatter sending a jolt through his nerves. The gruesome display froze the rest of the crew in place—no one dared move.

On that blood-soaked face, only madness and brutality remained...
