At the same time, two men stood side by side at the ship's railing. Feeling the gentle sea breeze, one of them spoke.

"I never expected the battle at Marineford to be so intense!"

"Now i have the chance to face the Marines head-on, just like the boss did back in the day!"

"To actively attack Marineford! Who else would have the guts to do that?"

The speaker was clad in a black fur coat, with slicked-back hair, a long horizontal scar across his face, an earring in his right ear and a golden hook for his left hand.

He was none other than one of the former Seven Warlords of the Sea, the Sand-Sand Fruit user: Sir Crocodile.

Beside him stood a man wearing a patterned yukata, with a topknot hairstyle, a thick black beard on his chin, a lightning-shaped scar at the corner of his left eye, a bulky build and two large teeth protruding from his lower jaw.

One of the current Seven Warlords of the Sea: Jinbe, the Knight of the Sea!

"Indeed! The boss places great importance on this battle!" Jinbe crossed his arms and spoke slowly.

"Both of us, who usually stay out of the limelight, have been summoned this time!"

Like Crocodile, he was also one of Bob subordinates.

They had been notified by Bob to head to Marineford before Ace public execution.

"Aren't you one of the Seven Warlords? The Marines are summoning you, right?" Crocodile exhaled a puff of smoke and glanced at Jinbe.

"Logically, shouldn't you be with Hancock and the others now?"

"That's none of your concern!" Jinbe replied indifferently.

Hearing this, Crocodile turned his gaze to the front of the ship and didn't ask further.

However, their seemingly casual conversation left the others on the ship utterly shocked.

"Seven Warlords?" Luffy muttered in a daze, his eyes wide open.

"Marineford?" Buggy felt something was terribly wrong, beads of sweat already forming on his forehead.

The two, who had been wrestling just moments ago, were both stunned upon hearing Jinbe and Crocodile's conversation.

Luffy body went limp, twisting into a pretzel shape, while Buggy limbs separated, his head and body no longer aligned.

Seeing the two of them starting to take on bizarre shapes, Jinbe and Crocodile nodded in tacit understanding.

"Ahahaha! I never expected you to be one of the Seven Warlords!" Luffy exclaimed, his excitement palpable after receiving Jinbe confirmation.

"No wonder you're so powerful!"

He knew this merman, who had a good relationship with him, was no ordinary figure, but he never imagined he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Although he often talked about becoming the Pirate King, he was well aware that his current strength was still far from matching the top powers on the seas.

"Wait! Did you just say Marineford?" Buggy head, lying on the deck, shouted with his mouth wide open.

"Is that your destination? Hold on… Is this ship heading to Marineford?"

"Yes!" Crocodile smirked, looking at the clown who had split into several pieces, feigning surprise.

"This ship is heading there. You just figured that out?"

"Hasn't the Marine already set up an inescapable net there? Whitebeard, Shiki and Kaido are all heading that way!" Buggy heart was practically leaping out of his chest and the terror on his face was unmistakable.

"Quick, change course! You're heading straight to your deaths!"

He had no intention of stepping out of Impel Down only to march straight into Marineford.

That would be nothing short of suicidal! And it wasn't just him—the prisoners who had been partying moments ago were now drenched in cold sweat after hearing the conversation.

"Our destination is Marine Headquarters!"

"Oh my god! Why is this happening? It's terrifying!"

"Maybe it's better if I just go back to prison. At least I'll keep my life!"

"What's there to celebrate? This is practically a funeral feast!"

Their despair mirrored Buggy perfectly.

They were utterly hopeless.

"Hahaha! Marineford, huh?" Luffy stood at the bow of the ship, gazing at the faint outline of the buildings ahead, his fists clenched.

"That's exactly where I'm headed!"

He had originally planned to rescue his brother Ace and now they were heading straight to Marineford, saving him a lot of trouble.

"Hey! Snap out of it! This isn't some game!" Buggy, who had just recovered from his scattered state, shouted in desperation.

He was already feeling the weight of despair as the massive structure of Marineford came into view.

Just the sight of it was enough to make Buggy feel an overwhelming sense of pressure.

And that was just the exterior.

Inside, the Marine had undoubtedly mobilized their greatest forces in history.

After all, they were up against three of the most notorious pirates!

"What's there to fear? With our leader Bob, these Marine Headquarters guys are nothing but trash!"

Crocodile spoke with utmost respect, his tone shifting automatically when he mentioned that name.

In the original story, Crocodile goal had always been to defeat Whitebeard.

But under Bob influence, he now pursued Bob as his ultimate goal.

Bob strength had deeply impressed him.

"That's right! The Marine is strong, especially the three Admirals, but they're not invincible!" Jinbe echoed Crocodile words.

"Our leader Bob can overpower them!"

Although he had never directly faced the Marine Admirals, after learning about Bob strength, it was easy for him to come to this conclusion.

"Leader? Bob?" Hearing these two powerful figures mention this name, Luffy felt extremely puzzled.

His single-celled brain worked furiously, trying to recall any information about this person.

But soon, his thoughts became a tangled mess. He had never heard of this person before.

"Who is this guy? Why haven't I heard of him?"

"Is he really that strong?"

Luffy had completely given up on thinking.

He coiled himself around the flagpole, stretching his neck out as he leaned toward Jinbe, asking in confusion.

"Bob?"

"That name sounds familiar!" Unlike Luffy, Buggy expression changed when he heard the name.

The fear on his face vanished, replaced by a thoughtful look.

Suddenly, Buggy eyes lit up.

"Bob… Could it be that man from forty years ago?"
