"What did you just say?! Killer B was captured?!"

In Kumogakure, inside the Raikage's Office, the sound of an enraged roar echoed throughout the room.

The Fourth Raikage, A, was lifting a massive barbell with one hand, his muscles bulging as he worked out. However, upon hearing his subordinate's report, his face twisted in rage, and the sheer pressure of his chakra made the room tremble.

"Yes, sir!" the Kumo shinobi kneeling before him responded. "The attackers included a member of Konoha's Uchiha Clan. Right now, our tracking unit is pursuing them."

Hearing this, Mabui, the Raikage's secretary, glanced at her leader and asked, "Raikage-sama, what do you want to do next?"

Raikage clenched his fist so tightly that his knuckles cracked. His breathing became heavier as his fury surged.

"I will never forgive Akatsuki—those bastards!!!"

With a furious roar, he slammed his fist onto his desk. The sturdy wooden surface shattered into two, sending debris flying across the office.

Gritting his teeth, Raikage looked up with determination in his eyes.

"My little brother… Wait for me!"

Akatsuki's Hideout – Sealing the Jinchūriki

Meanwhile, far away from Kumogakure, inside a dark and ominous cave, Tobi (Obito Uchiha) stood in front of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path—the monstrous husk of the Ten-Tails.

At his feet lay Killer B, the supposed Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails, unconscious and bound.

"Looks like Sasuke really did his job," Kisame Hoshigaki commented, a grin spreading across his shark-like face. His small, beady eyes gleamed with amusement.

Tobi nodded, his Sharingan glowing through his mask. "I told you, there wouldn't be any problems."

Black Zetsu sighed. "Still… this means we'll be busy for the next few days."

"Ugh," White Zetsu groaned. "Seven or eight days of sealing again? That means I won't see sunlight for a while."

Since Akatsuki had recently lost several members, the process of sealing a Tailed Beast took much longer. They didn't have enough manpower.

Tobi ignored their complaints and formed a hand seal.

"Let's begin."

A dark aura enveloped Killer B's body as chakra chains emerged, pulling the Eight-Tails' chakra into the Demonic Statue. A loud howl of agony echoed from within the statue as it began absorbing the chakra.

But then—something went wrong.

Suddenly, the Jinchūriki's body flickered—then vanished with a loud poof.

A single object dropped to the ground with a wet slap.

The Akatsuki members stared at it in silence.

Lying there, instead of Killer B, was a gigantic octopus tentacle.

The room fell eerily quiet.

Kisame frowned, his shark-like features twisting in irritation. "Don't tell me… Sasuke got played?"

White Zetsu, upon realizing what had happened, burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA! OH MY GOD, SASUKE REALLY GOT TRICKED! HAHAHA!"

Tobi's eye twitched.

Black Zetsu, sensing Tobi's killing intent, snapped, "Shut up!"

White Zetsu quickly stifled his laughter.

Tobi clenched his fists in frustration. One second ago, he had been bragging about Sasuke. Now, he had just been slapped in the face by reality.

It was obvious what had happened—Eight-Tails had used its ability to sever its own tentacle and escape.

A survival technique.

This wasn't just a simple blunder. This meant they had severely underestimated the Eight-Tails.

Tobi gritted his teeth.

"Kisame."

Kisame looked over at him.

"You'll have to go deal with this yourself."

Kisame let out a deep chuckle. "Heh… Looks like I'll have to clean up after the brat."

With a sigh, he slung Samehada over his back and started walking towards the exit.

As he stepped out, he muttered to himself, "Damn, Itachi… If only you were still here. I wouldn't have to do all the damn work myself."

The Land of Fire – Uzumaki Clan's Mask Temple

Far away from the chaos of Akatsuki, Naruto appeared inside the Uzumaki Clan's Mask Temple using Flying Thunder God.

He was accompanied by Konan and Orochimaru.

Meanwhile, Nagato remained back at their hideout. Naruto had left a Shadow Clone behind to guard him.

If Tobi tried any funny business and attempted to steal the Rinnegan, Naruto's clone would teleport Nagato to safety immediately.

Orochimaru, gazing at the worn-down temple, couldn't help but smirk.

"Oh my… So you brought me here?" Orochimaru mused, his golden snake-like eyes narrowing with intrigue.

Naruto shot him a half-smile. "Of course. I'll personally accompany you to retrieve the Uzumaki Clan's Shinigami Mask."

Orochimaru chuckled. "You're going through quite a bit of trouble just for me. Could it be… you want to see your father?"

Naruto shook his head. "Not yet. That time will come later. Right now, my priority is helping you get your arms back."

Orochimaru's expression changed slightly.

"Naruto-kun… I must say, you never cease to surprise me."

"Are you scared?" Naruto teased.

Orochimaru licked his lips and chuckled. "Not at all. But aren't you worried? Once my hands are restored, my power will be fully unleashed again. What if I decide to leave?"

Naruto shrugged. "I told you before, Uncle Snake—I know you. The only thing you ever bow to is the truth."

He smirked. "And besides… If you really want to leave, I won't stop you."

Hearing that, Orochimaru laughed softly.

Konan watched their interaction silently, then finally spoke, "Naruto has a way of getting people to follow him. I understand now why Nagato and I decided to side with him. He's nothing like Madara."

With a smirk, Orochimaru turned back to the rows of masks hanging on the wall.

"Well then… Let's get to work."

A long, white snake slithered out from Orochimaru's sleeve, its tongue flickering as it searched for the correct mask.

A moment later—it found it.

Konan, confused, asked, "Why do we need that mask specifically?"

Naruto explained, "Because the Third Hokage sealed Orochimaru's arms using Shiki Fūjin (Reaper Death Seal). That mask allows the wearer to temporarily merge with the Shinigami."

Orochimaru raised an eyebrow. "So, you really did your research."

Naruto grinned. "Of course. But let's be real, only you would dare mess with the literal God of Death."

Orochimaru chuckled darkly. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Naruto-kun."

Then he paused, narrowing his eyes. "But… for this Edo Tensei ritual, I'll need a living sacrifice."

Naruto waved his hand dismissively. "No problem. Give me a second."

And just like that—Naruto vanished using Flying Thunder God.

Seven minutes later—he returned, dragging a sealed White Zetsu clone behind him.

"There. I caught one outside Konoha," Naruto smirked.

Orochimaru let out a sinister laugh.

"Well, well, Naruto-kun… You really are one step ahead."
