The two opponents sheathed their blades after speaking and began forming hand seals.

"Earth Style: Dark Swamp!"

The ground around Kuragami Uchiha liquefied into a swamp under the influence of Chakra. 

Within it, countless venomous snakes slithered ominously, converging toward the center where Kuragami stood.

"Myriad Lightning Snake Prison!"

Facing the tens of thousands of venomous snakes, Kuragami Uchiha remained calm and completed his final hand seal.

In an instant, a raging sea of lightning reappeared; thick lightning pillars, as wide as a human thigh, crackled and danced like silver snakes. 

Every snake caught in their path was instantly reduced to ashes. 

The remaining ones, lingering on the edges, revealed fear in their reptilian eyes. Though these creatures had been bred by Orochimaru with considerable intelligence, their instincts as living beings overpowered them when confronted with such a catastrophic force.

As the surviving snakes hesitated, the lightning around Kuragami began to gather. 

A towering figure resembling an enraged vajra erupted from the ground, standing dozens of meters tall.

"Lightning Style: Immovable King!"

The lightning began to converge and compress into the vajra's massive pestle. The pestle formed by condensation of chakra actually had a real texture at this moment. One can imagine how terrifying the energy contained was.

"Step back!" 

Kakashi shouted as he sensed the terrifying surge of Chakra.

During the nine-tails rebellion six years ago, the Tailed Beast Ball probably had a similar level of destructive power.

Kuragami Uchiha raised his hand and clenched his fist. The massive vajra above him hurled the vajra pestle toward Orochimaru.

In an instant, thunder roared, and Orochimaru attempted to counter with a Wind Style defense jutsu. However, within a radius of several hundred meters, everything was engulfed by the overwhelming explosion. 

The immensely compressed lightning, upon release, unleashed pure, unrestrained energy, obliterating everything in its range.

When the dust settled, only the mutilated corpse of a giant snake remained.

Kuragami Uchiha walked toward the carcass. He had no doubt Orochimaru survived the attack; after all, this was the hardest man to kill in the Shinobi World.

Sure enough, just as he expected, the seemingly lifeless serpent corpse began to squirm, and Orochimaru emerged from the charred snake's mouth. Even his robes were intact. However, the Akatsuki organization's robe, which had a red cloud pattern, had been soaked with viscous liquid.

"So this... Is the power of the Uchiha Clan, Kuragami-kun?" 

Orochimaru licked the slime off his face with his serpent-like tongue. "After unleashing such a technique, I assume your Chakra must be nearly depleted?"

"And so what?" 

Kuragami frowned slightly. Even in a world where killing was second nature, the grotesque sight before him was somewhat revolting.

In the original timeline, it was Itachi Uchiha who sparked Orochimaru's obsession with Uchiha's bodies. But now, Kuragami has taken on that role. Orochimaru's expression turned twisted with desire; he could hardly wait to claim Kuragami's body for himself.

Orochimaru's neck suddenly stretched out, and his entire head flew towards Kuragami Uchiha.

"As long as I can plant the curse mark, this body will be mine!"

Just then, a sharp cry echoed through the sky as the hawk's piercing screech rang out.

A primal fear, etched into the genes of all snakes, surged within Orochimaru. His head snapped upward, his eyes locking onto the descending hawk and the pair of crimson eyes it possessed.

"Those are... The Mangekyō Sharingan?"

Ultimate Genjutsu, Kotoamatsukami, activated!

A surge of Chakra imprinted an eternal seal of absolute loyalty to Kuragami Uchiha onto Orochimaru's very soul.

Orochimaru's eyes instantly became clear and then clouded.

Kuragami stepped forward, unsheathed his sword, and beheaded Orochimaru in a single stroke.

It was only at this moment that Kakashi and the others finally arrived.

"Is it over?" 

Ken Hyugaya exhaled a long breath as he looked at Orochimaru's severed head and body.

"As expected of the Clan Head Kuragami, even a long-established ninja like Orochimaru was no match for him." Seiichi Nagai sighed in admiration.

"No... I don't think it's that simple." 

Kakashi's brows furrowed as he stared at Orochimaru's corpse.

Before their eyes, the relatively intact body of Orochimaru began to dissolve into ashes, dispersing with the wind.

"What... Is this?" Kaze Inuzuka frowned.

"He's probably not dead yet." 

Kuragami Uchiha sighed as he sheathed his sword. "Damn it... He still managed to escape."

"No need to be so hard on yourself." 

Kakashi remarked. "That guy survived years of being hunted by the village; he naturally has his ways."

"Kaze, have Sumimaru track his scent. That bastard must have a base nearby. Once I recover some Chakra, we'll storm the place together." Kuragami instructed.

Meanwhile, twenty kilometers away, inside Orochimaru's hideout, a large containment pod held a body that suddenly opened its eyes, revealing the curse mark inscribed on its skin.

The glass shattered, and the figure stepped out, its face slowly morphing into that of Orochimaru.

After dressing himself, the newly reborn Orochimaru immediately began modifying his laboratory.

Two hours later, after restoring his Chakra, Kuragami Uchiha and his team followed Sumimaru's lead to an underground base.

"There's no one inside." Kihito Hyūga reported after scanning the area with his Byakugan.

"Looks like he already ran." 

Kakashi noted. "Let's go in and check; we might find something useful."

As they ventured into the hideout, the gruesome remnants of human experimentation became evident.

Even though they were battle-hardened ninja, some of the sights within made their stomachs churn. The only female ninja in their squad, Yugao Uzuki, covered her mouth, struggling to hold back her nausea.

"That bastard... He really has no humanity." Kaze Inuzuka growled through gritted teeth.

"Search for clues." 

Kakashi ordered.

Everyone began combing through the hideout for useful information.

While comforting his shaken girlfriend, Hayate Gekko noticed a pile of scattered documents. 

After picking one up, his pupils shrink in horror.

The document detailed how Danzo's root had abducted children from minor clans within the village and delivered them to Orochimaru as experimental subjects. Even members of the Utatane and Mitokado clans also have some traces of it.

Suddenly, Hayate recalled a young cousin in his clan who had mysteriously vanished years ago at the age of four, and his blood ran cold.

Just as he was about to speak, Kuragami Uchiha appeared beside him, pressed a hand against his shoulder, and subtly shook his head, signaling him to remain silent.
