My Billionaire Stepmother and Seven Sisters

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: A Day at the University with Lily

I had barely woken up when my sixth sister, Lily, practically dragged me out of bed with a determined look in her eyes. I rubbed my sleepy eyes, feeling groggy. "Where are we going?" I mumbled, still clinging to the warmth of my blanket.

"To my university, of course!" Lily announced proudly, adjusting her glasses. "I'm a professor, remember? Today, you're coming with me!"

I blinked up at her in confusion. "But... I don't wanna study," I said, frowning.

Lily gasped dramatically. "Who said anything about studying? You'll just be my little assistant today!" she chirped, scooping me up in her arms.

Before I could protest, I found myself dressed neatly in a little suit Lily had picked out. The other sisters waved us off, sulking because it wasn't their turn to take me somewhere. My stepmother simply smiled, reminding Lily to take care of me.

When we arrived at the university, I was overwhelmed by how big it was. There were so many people—students, professors, and staff walking around busily. The moment we stepped in, everyone's eyes turned toward us.

"Professor Lily! Is that your little brother?" One of her students gasped.

"Oh my gosh, he's so cute!"

"Professor, why didn't you tell us you had a baby brother?!"

Lily smirked proudly, keeping her arm around me. "Of course, he's adorable! He's my precious little brother, and he's spending the day with me!"

The students swarmed around me, making me feel a little shy. Some of them bent down to talk to me, while others gushed about how much I looked like a little prince.

Lily finally shooed them away. "Alright, alright! You'll have plenty of time to admire him later. Now, let's get to class!"

Her first lecture was in a large hall, filled with students. I sat on a small chair beside her desk, swinging my legs as I listened to her talk.

"So, as I was saying, quantum mechanics is—" Lily paused and glanced at me. "Are you listening, little one?"

I blinked up at her, confused. "Huh? Quantum what?"

The entire class chuckled. Lily sighed dramatically. "I suppose it's too soon for you to understand, but don't worry, you'll be a genius like me one day."

Her students laughed again. One of them raised a hand. "Professor, why don't you let him write something on the board?"

Lily's eyes sparkled. "That's a wonderful idea!" She lifted me from my chair and carried me to the large whiteboard. "Here, my baby brother, let's write your name!"

She handed me a marker. I hesitated but slowly wrote my name, my tiny hands gripping the marker tightly. The students clapped and cheered as if I had just solved an impossible equation.

Feeling proud, I puffed out my chest. Lily ruffled my hair. "See? My brother is a genius!"

Throughout the day, I followed Lily from class to class. Each time, the students fawned over me, taking turns talking to me and offering me snacks.

In one class, Lily let me sit on her lap as she lectured, and she even paused every now and then to kiss my forehead. "Learning is important, but making sure my little brother is comfortable is more important!" she declared, making the entire class coo at her.

I started feeling sleepy after a while, but Lily refused to let me go. "You're staying with me, baby!" she whispered, holding me close.

By the time the last lecture ended, I had dozed off on Lily's shoulder. She carried me out of the lecture hall, ignoring the giggles from her students.

"Alright, class dismissed! And remember—learning is fun, but having a cute little brother is even better!"

As we headed home, I snuggled against her warmth, feeling safe. Maybe… just maybe, having a big sister like Lily wasn't so bad after all.
